I had the pleasure of getting to know Lisa Harding! When I called her to represent me at a conference hearing I was surprised that I was able to get her on the phone the first day. She was much more informative about the court system then my last lawyer concerning child support. She didn't just show up to conference she communicated with me through the entire process prior to. The best experience during a worst case scenario. My son was facing false allegations of a Title IX violation. We researched and consulted several leading legal advisors throughout the country. Several took the approach of "fear factoring" us into needing their legal services but didn't necessarily express a true regard for my son's state of mind. After initially speaking with Atty. Joseph Lento, and immediately being treated with the utmost sincerity and having been acknowledged for our feelings with the matter, we felt we would be moving forward with obtaining their counsel. They even granted a follow-up call waiving an additional consultation fee to allow us the opportunity to address a few points with no pressure to choose their firm. At that point, we knew they had more interest in our comfort level and goals than simply collecting a payment. Once on board, we were assigned to Kyle Adams, who had the knowledge and expertise in this area of law and whom was an absolute pleasure to work with. I hired Mr. Cohen to get the job done and he did just that. The only downfall was the time it took to complete my divorce. To no faults of Scott of course. The courts are so backed up it took a while. The positive part was being able to contact Scott and he almost was always available to speak with me. He kept me in the loop with everything that was going on in my case and that was one of the most important things to me. I do recommend Scott if communication is a big deal because he does make it a point to stay in contact and include his client.

From experience, Tom is HIGHLY recommended for high-conflict Family Law cases. Particularly frivolous "Ex Parte PFA's". His criminal defense background mixed with family law is the perfect combination to combat frivolous pfa's and vindictive parents. ESPECIALLY those who have past, a criminal background. We are at sever high risk in the Family Court system and often abused by the flawed system.
Tom's criminal defense background utilized in Family Law greatly aide in exposing abusers of the flawed Philadelphia Family Court system. Example, if you want a liar to be exposed beyond ALL doubt then he is your guy.
In my opinion, one of the most attractive features of working with Tom is he does not talk to you like an attorney just out to get your money. You keep it straight with him he'll have the best possible plan available.
Don't waste your money getting talked down to or having your case dragged out by an attorney who can't see the creator of the conflict. Talk to Tom. He'll come up with a plan.

Mr. Landis was extremely down to earth and actually had the best price around. I hired him for my preliminary trial and he showed up 4 times for me and never charged me an extra dime. While other lawyers automatically advised me to agree to an ARD program, Mr. Landis was confident the nature of my case was not serious enough and advised me to at least try to let him get it thrown out in the preliminary stage. That is exactly what happened. Hopefully I will never need a lawyer again, but if I do, I will be using his card.

Divorce isn't a fun process, but Charlie Meyer's knowledge and approach to a difficult situation made it a little easier. Unlike other attorneys I consulted, he didn't tell me what I wanted to hear but instead what was a fair and likely outcome (even if it wasn't 100% in my favor). He has a very patient, encouraging, and casual manner that put me at ease. Charlie always got back to me even in my most hysterical moments, often early in the morning, often on weekends. I believe he has a good sense of personalities as well-- understanding how much information a client needs and wants and knowing, too, when to keep some of the unimportant nonsense quiet. Needless to say he has extensive knowledge of the laws in quite a few counties in and outside Philadelphia, and he seems to have a good rapport with lawyers/ masters/ judges in a courtroom setting.
If you're looking for a fair and balanced approach to your case--and for someone to put a lot of fight and effort into getting you what you deserve-- Charlie is a good choice.

James helped my husband apply for a permanent resident visa (I sponsored him). James made it very easy for us to apply. He's a really nice guy, explained everything very clearly and did almost all of the work so we just had to answer some questions and show up to the interview.
If my husband needs anymore help we'd def use James again.

I would highly recommend Linda Kerns and I do regularly to friends and colleagues. I have used Linda's services on several occasions but most recently with help purchasing a house. Linda is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She was very persistent about checking the footprint of the property during inspection and thank goodness as the deed of record was incorrect and needed to be amended. She kept everything else in check and is very responsive whatever the time of day.
