Judy Morse and her team took over my divorce after my first attorney left me high and dry. She was recommended to me by not one but two (!) separate acquaintances. Her firm was highly responsive, answering all my questions and concerns as they came up throughout the process, and Judy and her associate offered suggestions and strategies at every turn. Judy also drove our mediation, and I was very impressed with her on-the-fly thinking that helped us reach alignment. Judy also is great at politely but firmly removing emotion from the process, which (I came to learn) is essential in divorce proceedings. New to Phoenix, I found myself needing a lawyer regarding a difficult landlord situation. I did a google search, wrote down a few names and randomly made my first call to Scott McWilliams for a very reasonably priced $50 initial consultation.
I explained the issue to Mr. McWilliams and he provided me with clear, concise information on AZ law, then gave me the specific statute numbers so I could also easily reference them myself. He advised me on the pros and cons of multiple courses of action, offered excellent solutions I had not considered, and gave me guidance on how to proceed, depending on which course of action I would eventually take.
The issue is close to being resolved, and I may need Mr. McWilliams' expertise to review the final agreement, but he got me to the goal line with a $50 consultation. It was, without a doubt, the best legal services value I have had in the past 40+ years.

Aaron was God sent! Everything that happened with my brother happened so fast and the county law enforcement agency was in a hurry to hang my brother high and dry. Our family frantically searched for someone to represent our loved one with about 24 hours until he was in front of a judge on a SUNDAY! Aarons name showed during the search. Once we made the call we knew we had the right man. Aaron was insanely quick, communicative, available and caring. What stood out to me was he gave a s***! I remember speaking to him and trying to explain the situation and respectfully Aaron stopped me and said "I'm not being rude but right now my concern is making sure I am there with him in person and then we can over details later." He got suited up and drove to represent my brother with just a few hours until he (my brother) was to be seen. Aaron showed up dressed to the nines! well groomed and stood with confidence from there on out that level of professionalism didn't stop.. He helped my brother when everyone else was looking at him less than a human. He handled this case so professionally and proficiently I cannot express how much gratitude I have for his work ethic. You are where you are supposed to be Aaron and I'm sure your name will bring comfort to those who you represent. I've been so happy with Mr. Woodnick. I was a nervous wreck -- I couldn't sleep, I was losing weight, and felt honestly like I didn't want to wake up. My poor kids...ugh. But thankfully I was referred to Mr. Woodnick, who has taken the leadership role that I needed. I was worried that I was too out of touch with everything to be able to proceed with any kind of case, but Gregg stepped right in and was like a father to me, guiding me in the right direction and helping me make decisions I could have never made on my own. I called to set up an appt to create an estate, living will, etc after doing much research on attorneys. I loved every profile I read of her and we had in common teaching in South Korea, so I really wanted to work with her! Each time I called, she was unavailable and would call back at random times, usually 5pm-6pm while driving or outside. In our first call, she said she would email me a link to her client portal so I could upload my documents a week prior to our consult. I never got the link or an email. During our first call, she said "I know it's not lawyerly of me to say this but..." and the advice I got was not related to what I needed. I called her firm the next day asking to speak with her to see if she had the correct email, as I needed the link. She called me back later in the day while driving and I gave her my email again. 6 days passed and no email, so I called to cancel our appt. I was transferred to her cell phone and told her that I wanted to cancel but she made an attempt to continue with the consult. She repeated the email that she had and it was wrong. I spelled out the email to her and I could hear wind noise and a child in the background, so I know she was not taking it down. We agreed that she would call me the next evening at 6:30 and that she would send the link I needed for her to look over my documents prior to our consult. Well, again I never got the email or calendar invite that she said she had. I called the same day to cancel and was again transferred to her but there was no answer and she never called me. Very disappointing.

I wish we could have gone into a Public assistance lawyer might worth accepting the results. Now our entire family ,my lil kids will suffer from it as we have to result selling my property and rely on food banks because nothing will be left for us as you deemed my husband responsible being just a “ Donor” to an IVF. I give Jeff 0 stars for the amount of years and the "qualifications" he claims to have. He did absolutely nothing for me or anything I wanted done. For a court case in a family matter if you want to save your kids don't not go with Jeff, he will drain you of all your money and drag everything out as long as he can drain you of money! I was promised by his daughters if I spent the $5000 he would get me everything I wanted to save my daughters and after $20,000 I wasn't even close to anything when I first came to him. My ex wife is a drugs addict, alcoholic who's in an incest relationship with her biological brother, drugged my 3 year old and allowed my infant daughter get sexually abused by family members in her care. Been to jail for breaking court orders, with so much more indecent's and yet still couldn't stop her in court. He's allowed her to force herself on my children and I paid $10,000 for a trial and never got one. He charged me multiple times for all the emails my ex wife would send him after I requested him to stop responding to her and would not pay for her emails. So much more on top of that. I told him I no longer needed his representation. Do not take Jeff on as your attorney.

I had hired John as my attorney last year (2018) and the way he communicated with me was a cold shoulder feeling, very little interest in my case. Expressing how important the custody of my children were and making sure they were under the best care it didn't seem to phase him. He continued to just express we will see what the court will do. With little to no attempt to make me feel confident about this process, it made it even more stressful. The lack of communication, confidence, and stress that he was going to make this situation worse I had to finally drop my divorce because it seemed no matter what I said it wasn't going to be a high priority. I will be hiring a different attorney who will fight this battle with confidence and not waiting for a judge to do his job.

What we had to do was very hard , John went out of his way to make me see that we had to stand up for our rights and not be bullied by our adult son.
He told us what we could get together ourselves to help keep our cost down with him then he did his own research when he put it all together he had enough that just the show of it scared our son into dropping his case. Then John ask the judge to have our son pay all attorney fee.
John has checked in with us in the days after court. I believe John truly cares about his clients and takes the time to show it.

Terrible law firm. The lawyer I used made frequent mistakes through her staff including: incorrect information communicated in email, needing frequent time line reminders, not remembering important case details, not paying court fees the lawyer was instructed to pay (thus delaying the process), omitting important details in the divorce settlement relating to property settlement allocation and who would retain possession of individual accounts (this resulted in additional paper work filing with financial institutions and unnecessary closing of accounts), alarming and stressing the client due to incorrectly remembering details of the case. These failures resulted in unnecessary delays, created anxiety, and increased fees charged to the client.

I hired Dan to step in quickly and fix a fairly large mistake made by a prior attorney. Right from the first communication he offered his weekend time to connect and see whether he could help me with my legal issues. He asked great questions, and more importantly, he listened to what I said. Dan immediately made me feel comfortable because his promise to serve my best interests was authentic and each action he took proved it. He did exactly what he said he would do...promises kept.
Additionally as a single mother of two teenagers and making a very meager income, Dan was extremely thoughtful in how he billed his time in order to stretch my dollars as far as possible. The amount of uncharged hours is unknown to me but most certainly there were many.
