Went on vacation and things seemed to have turned for the worst. Contacted Lerner and Rowe and Sean was assigned to my case. Felt like I had ruined my life but Sean was with me every step of the way. If I called they answered or would get back with a prompt response. If I was overwhelmed Sean would keep me calm and provide ease of mind. and consulting contracts, and other various legal needs we have over the years. She is a gem to work with. I highly recommend her for that service. Update: I am updating the review from 1 stars to 3 now, I appreciate the lawyer contacting me and explaining his policies, however I was not in agreement with his policies, he is stating that he does not have paralegals in his office. Hopefully one day he will. I do appreciate he wanted to make it better, so that is another reason why I have changed my 1 star review, but his secretary did make me mad. I think they can improve on a few things, but that is their decision.

I give Jeff 0 stars for the amount of years and the "qualifications" he claims to have. He did absolutely nothing for me or anything I wanted done. For a court case in a family matter if you want to save your kids don't not go with Jeff, he will drain you of all your money and drag everything out as long as he can drain you of money! I was promised by his daughters if I spent the $5000 he would get me everything I wanted to save my daughters and after $20,000 I wasn't even close to anything when I first came to him. My ex wife is a drugs addict, alcoholic who's in an incest relationship with her biological brother, drugged my 3 year old and allowed my infant daughter get sexually abused by family members in her care. Been to jail for breaking court orders, with so much more indecent's and yet still couldn't stop her in court. He's allowed her to force herself on my children and I paid $10,000 for a trial and never got one. He charged me multiple times for all the emails my ex wife would send him after I requested him to stop responding to her and would not pay for her emails. So much more on top of that. I told him I no longer needed his representation. Do not take Jeff on as your attorney.

I had hired John as my attorney last year (2018) and the way he communicated with me was a cold shoulder feeling, very little interest in my case. Expressing how important the custody of my children were and making sure they were under the best care it didn't seem to phase him. He continued to just express we will see what the court will do. With little to no attempt to make me feel confident about this process, it made it even more stressful. The lack of communication, confidence, and stress that he was going to make this situation worse I had to finally drop my divorce because it seemed no matter what I said it wasn't going to be a high priority. I will be hiring a different attorney who will fight this battle with confidence and not waiting for a judge to do his job.

What we had to do was very hard , John went out of his way to make me see that we had to stand up for our rights and not be bullied by our adult son.
He told us what we could get together ourselves to help keep our cost down with him then he did his own research when he put it all together he had enough that just the show of it scared our son into dropping his case. Then John ask the judge to have our son pay all attorney fee.
John has checked in with us in the days after court. I believe John truly cares about his clients and takes the time to show it.

Terrible law firm. The lawyer I used made frequent mistakes through her staff including: incorrect information communicated in email, needing frequent time line reminders, not remembering important case details, not paying court fees the lawyer was instructed to pay (thus delaying the process), omitting important details in the divorce settlement relating to property settlement allocation and who would retain possession of individual accounts (this resulted in additional paper work filing with financial institutions and unnecessary closing of accounts), alarming and stressing the client due to incorrectly remembering details of the case. These failures resulted in unnecessary delays, created anxiety, and increased fees charged to the client.

Joel has been extremely patient with the ex in our case. Her stall tactics and lies only made Joel work harder to get us a fair agreement.
