I had retained Heather in 2003 while going through a tough Divorce. It was a very difficult time and that's when I realized just how much she fought for me and my young son. Her tenacity and work ethic is top notch!
Twenty years later, my ex-husband had me back in court and without hesitation, I immediately contacted Heather's firm, and she took on my case, yet again. She fights for you, and fights hard. She has done so much for me during the tough times of divorce battles, etc..
It's alot to go through legal situations, as it is, but when you find the lawyer that will fight for you, that's everything! Ty! Heather!

Hands down the best lawyer I've ever worked with!!! She makes Johnny Cochran look like a scrub. Honestly though, Heather is professional and if you simply push the I believe in her button she will advise and assist you, then crush your case.
I had little hope in winning my custody case. I am an out of state father, going for full custody against my ex who looks amazing on paper since she is a teacher and licensed professional counselor. From the moment of my consultation with Heather I knew I made the right choice with her as my lawyer. She is straight forward, direct to the point and will advise you for the best possible outcome she believes she can get you. If she feels you can win, she means it.

After consulting with several attorneys in the Pittsburgh area, it was clear that Scott Levine stood out for many reasons.
The main reason I recommend working with Scott is because after one consultation I could tell he actually cared. He was not focused on "getting my business" or rudely rushingme to make a decision like other attorneys I spoke with.
Instead, Mr. Levine was prompt, polite, patient, and genuinely interested in learning the facts of my case to cut through legal BS and make a difficult situation easier to understand and deal with.
Peace of mind is crucial to making wise decisions when you're under the stress of divorce proceedings. Scott eased my mind and restored my confidence.
He also helped me see that certain options I was considering would likely be a waste of time and money (even though he could have been the one to make that money). That's a rare trait in any profession, especially in the expensive world of divorce law.

I was fighting a losing battle against my mother for custody back of my son she had them for quite a few years and I had not the best background and it seemed like I was getting nowhere and there was no light at the end of the tunnel but then I found Salah Blaik and he helped me to finally reach the end of that tunnel and see the light. It took a little time and yes he is expensive but he is very much so worth every penny he takes the time out to get to know his clients their situation their family everything and is very honest with you and keeps you informed about everything covers all bases and puts the care and effort in to helping you. He got me custody back of my son and I couldn't be more ecstatic and grateful! I hired Chas to handle a case for me after a previous attorney had screwed it up. Chas was willing to trust my view of things, without automatically siding with the previous attorney just because he was an attorney. He was also willing to let my husband handle filing all the documents, analyzing complicated estate accountings, preparing spreadsheets, and providing potential arguments to advance, which saved a ton of money on paralegal work. Chas was open with me, explained everything, and even allowed me to frequently argue with him (he claimed to enjoy it). He's a really nice guy and totally honest. The one thing I'd fault him for is that he isn't good at scheduling. Chas tends to let cases slide a bit till trial time (he loves trials), and then, since three trials had piled up consecutively, he was unable to spend enough time preparing for mine. However, he later hired an assistant and that seemed to help a lot.

Mr. Pocrass was the best decision I could have made when it came to my divorce. My divorce was starting to look much different than what I thought my ex-wife and I had amicably agreed upon. She hired a lawyer and never told me about it, then did a complete 180 on me and basically wanted everything but the shirt off my back. Because we have children, I wanted things to be as least messy as possible. During my time with Attorney Kunka, we came to discover that she actually had monthly income of which I was not aware, in addition to a trust that she had never mentioned before in our fourteen years together. Needless to say, Mr. Kunka impeccably argued my case and we came to a very fair agreement. Situations like these are not fun, so it was great to know Ellis had my back and answers to my questions from the time we began working together. For someone who is independently wealthy and stood to lose everything, Mr. Kunka saved me and my relationship with my kids. Thanks, Ellis!

I reached out to Renee to get a second opinion on the expungement for my DUI. I'm in the ARD program and she is helping to expedite the expungement process. The attorney that represented me during my DUI trial said there was nothing else I could do to get the DUI off of my record early. Renee is looking at different angles and moving forward with helping to resolve this matter. I also received two summary charges that do not look good on my record for future job opportunities. She is helping me to appeal these charges when two other attorneys told me there was nothing I could do.
Renee is very intelligent, aggressive and most importantly I could tell she cared about me and my stressful situation. That is very hard to find especially when one approaches an attorney for the first time. I highly recommend Renee for any legal issues.

I found Attorney Spivak through a Google search with the criteria, “impossible PFA cases”. His name popped up and I gave him a call. Long story short, he literally won an impossible PFA case. This man is legit. My fiancé has been in custody courts for 3 and a half years, and this man proved his case with one PFA hearing. I would also say that anyone who may have very complicated custody cases, to talk to Mr Spivak. He’s highly knowledgeable, and this man actually CARES about his clients. He will go to bat for you, he is very direct, and he will tell you what to expect.
I say this with the most sincerity, I do not trust, like or even respect most attorneys. I have never had good experiences with most of them. I feel like they take your money , and that’s it. But this man is the real deal. I would highly recommend Attorney Spivak for any custody/PFA related cases. If I could give ten stars, I would.

I hired Jim Lieber a number of years ago in regard to an education work-place discrimination matter that touched on any number of intricate points tied to the school’s standards/politics/contracts/personalities. Jim proved masterful at bringing justice to the situation. He was able to air the details that proved greatly (and appropriately) embarrassing to the opposing side while couching all such information within the proper legal/contractual framework to maximize the effectiveness of the complaints I was raising before all the right authorities. 3 years ago my son and I were involved in a car accident. My son’s grandfather referred me to Lupetin & Unatin for representation for the accident. His referral came highly regarded due to him having a case where he was sued Duquesne Light for damages to his property and he won. So needless to say, I went with his recommendation.
Regarding my own case, the representation I received from Lupetin & Unatin was superb. I filed my lawsuit at the beginning of 2022 and they diligently gathered all the information needed to settle the case for me and my son. It took some time, but the end of 2024, they were able to get us a reasonable settlement and they only charged 25%. Garrett Trettel was representing us and he treated our case with the utmost importance and urgency, being very transparent of the necessary steps that had to be taken along the way in order for us to cross the finish line.
I can honestly say I am pleased and satisfied with the service I received from this law firm. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

I sat in jail with a bond set 200k for simple and 5 k for DUI (3) assault and intimidating witness, from a known abusive ex. Drug dealer. A police officer I sued a year prior finally pulls me over in another jurisdiction under no legal way no legal reason to pull me over. He stated that my back window was covered with a plastic he couldn't see through which was one that I bought at AutoZone and this was in Westmoreland county he then said he traveled me across the bridge for 4/10 of a mile to clock me to make to see if I was speeding I suppose he came to the conclusion I was going 34 in a 25 which would be impossible to prove because there wasn't enough space for him to actually properly conduct that speed check and that was established in the courtroom in front of the judge and the judge still allowed this man to leave the courtroom lying and I know courts got a lot to lie about but if I'm innocent until proven guilty nah. in a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee . Judge mears's Office Mike warrick and Ferrell h okun and Weaver. Basically ruined me

I sat in jail with a bond set 200k for simple and 5 k for DUI (3) assault and intimidating witness, from a known abusive ex. Drug dealer. A police officer I sued a year prior finally pulls me over in another jurisdiction under no legal way no legal reason to pull me over. He stated that my back window was covered with a plastic he couldn't see through which was one that I bought at AutoZone and this was in Westmoreland county he then said he traveled me across the bridge for 4/10 of a mile to clock me to make to see if I was speeding I suppose he came to the conclusion I was going 34 in a 25 which would be impossible to prove because there wasn't enough space for him to actually properly conduct that speed check and that was established in the courtroom in front of the judge and the judge still allowed this man to leave the courtroom lying and I know courts got a lot to lie about but if I'm innocent until proven guilty nah. in a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee .
