My experience with attorney David DeFazio was nothing but the best one could ask for. In my dire time of need when police officers had falsified information and made a false arrest, attorney DeFazio did not falter at any moment. Being a sole practitioner he was always checking up on me and giving updates on my case. I never felt like I was alone throughout my entire case. His attention to detail along with his drive to do what was best for the situation and me was very comforting. The research he put in for a small case like mine was above and beyond. In the courtroom he took on the police without any hesitation. Attorney DeFazio won my case I can say that I would recommend him to anyone.

Even with short notice Barbara was able to do great work. I have worked with many other attorneys but there was not one that even compares to the service and the attention to detail I received from her. I had a extremely diffcult child custody case that was being heard by a newer judge she made sure she came prepared with anything and everything that the judge may asked for and she kept me actively involved in the case.
My only mistake with Barbara is not finding her sooner.

Attorney Morrow is one of the best in the City of Pittsburgh. He is kind, compassionate, and patient with his clients. He understands that emotions often play a big part in any matter that brings a person to a lawyer and does not attempt to down play your needs and/or emotions. He is quick to explain any issues in "plain" language rather than "legalese" so that anyone can understand the nuanses of the legal system in Pennsylvania. He can gently make you see the whole picture and alternatives available when appropriate. His fees are more reasonable than most attorneys in Pittsburgh. I would whole heartedly recommend Attorney Morrow for anything from a personal injury matter to a family law situation. Look at his picture...and trust that smile.

I never had to wait for a call back more than a day. He gives me the best advice. Mark is professional and doesn't makes you feel uncomfortable. He does not talk to you in a demeaning way like some lawyers. He is like a rock when you have a legal problem. I couldn't imagine having anyone else take care of my legal problems. I hired Jim Lieber a number of years ago in regard to an education work-place discrimination matter that touched on any number of intricate points tied to the school’s standards/politics/contracts/personalities. Jim proved masterful at bringing justice to the situation. He was able to air the details that proved greatly (and appropriately) embarrassing to the opposing side while couching all such information within the proper legal/contractual framework to maximize the effectiveness of the complaints I was raising before all the right authorities. John C. did an excellent job calling me back almost immediately and taking time at no charge to discuss with me all my options including a succinct analysis of views from my side as well as the opposing party. He was able to essentially figure out what was going on before I told him.
I felt put at ease, and my guess is I'll eventually switch this from Consulted to Hired. I should have known better regarding attorneys, it's far less costly to hire someone who is great at their work than someone who isn't but charges less.
I've found his combination of pscyhological understanding paired with knowledge of the Pittsburgh area and elsewhere including specific people of which I have an issue to be extremely important. He already did the research, the other attorney didn't really bother, but if they did I would have been charged for thier learning which wouldn't come close to what Mr. Corcoran knew in knowing the people first hand and what they are like.

The Shrager law office gave my case to Heather Kelly. Do NOT hire Shrager... they talked down to me, like I had no brain, yelled at me for following up when they told me to, treated me like I was a criminal and the office smelled of ego. I had no choice. So glad they "sold" the case to Kelly. She treated me the EXACT opposite. Took my phone call, listened to me (every time I needed her too), treated me like an innocent (I was) human being! My case was not complicated and the end result 95% would have been the same without her but Im so pleased she was there by my side. She has a calming presence about her.
