Thankfully I have not needed the services of Millar Legal personally, but I know two others that have. The theme always seems to be that Aaron is a highly skilled attorney, without question, but the difference for them was how personable and compassionate Aaron was during an (obviously) stressful and emotional time. I personally know Aaron through other professional channels and can attest to the fact that he genuinely cares for people, beyond just the courtroom. The other great reviews and testimonials all ring true. Easy call to make.

I began the divorce process in October of 2021. At the time, I had different counsel. Nearly a year into the saga, I was referred to Aaron through another family law attorney. Once I hired Aaron, I knew I had the right attorney.
My case was very high conflict. Aaron would ask my thoughts and ideas on the best way to navigate all the roadblocks that were thrown our way. Aaron was always calm. He was a voice of reason. He would ask questions to ensure he understood what I needed. Aaron did not always agree with me. When we didn’t agree, he explained his position and the most likely outcome. He was quick to return emails or phone calls. I could count on a response within 24-48 hours.
My case ultimately ended up at trial. I appreciated Aaron’s honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. He was very thoughtful with all of the motions and exhibits he presented to the Court, as he understood the Court does not have a lot of time to spend on each case. At trial, Aaron was able to take hundreds of pages of information and display them on a spreadsheet that was easy for everyone, including the judge, to understand. During the first day of trial, the Judge held up Aaron’s spreadsheet specific to alimony. It detailed previous martial expenses, current expenses and predicted expenses. The Judge shook it above his head while exclaiming that is how it should be done! While making his ruling, the Judge once again commented how helpful Aaron’s presentation was in determining alimony. Aaron was always in control: control of himself, control of the room, control of the issues, control of the evidence.
Aaron was able to get me full physical and legal custody of my 16 year old, he successfully negotiated that she determine parent time and secured more alimony than I ever wanted or expected.
Aaron and I made a great team. Normally I would approach Aaron with a solution to the latest problem. Aaron was always open to my ideas; he wasn’t threatened by my involvement. I had some ideas that were unconventional but checked off all of the boxes when it came to the law. Aaron was willing to advocate for me even though he didn’t know what the outcome would be. Aaron was very methodical. He was not ego driven. Aaron did what was best for his client, not what was the easiest or most popular. Whether he agreed with me or not, Aaron would always hear me out. My prior counsel dismissed me even when I had what ultimately became the winning strategy.
I will always recommend Millar Legal to anyone that finds themself needing legal representation, specifically in a high conflict divorce case.

I just went through one of the worst 3 year divorce processess you could imagine. David was my second attorney that I hired about a year ago and I would give anything to make him my first attorney for the following reasons.
#1. I got more accomplished with him in the second half of my divorce by a huge margin than I did with my first attorney.
#2. He did it all for less than 20% of what I had paid my other attorney because he WILL NOT nickel and dime you in anyway shape and form. Do not be fooled by other attorney's who may charge a smaller retainer because that means nothing when they are calling you every week asking to refill the retainer because they have exchausted it over useless crap. David doesn't do that. He will tell you (at least a ballpark) of what its gonna cost and he will stick to it regardless of what happens.
#3 If you are shopping for a divorce lawyer you are about to enter a purgatory you cannot imagine. As far as divorce attorney's go (and I went through one horrible one and shopped around for 4 months to find the right one for my second) he is the closest thing you will find to a rope to get you out of hell. Especially if you are a loving father fighting for your rights, and get custody of your child(ren) from a snake of an ex-wife who wants nothing more than to destroy you.
#4. My divorce lasted 28 months. I hired David 20 months into the process and he got more accomplished in the last 8 months than the previous months combined. (and for far less money)
#5. Probably the most important part of all of this is that David is a pitbull to fight for your rights. (and be advised that his argumentative and abrasive nature might actually get you in a heated discussion or two between the two of you...but I promise you that is exactly what you want in a divorce attorney. David is that way all the time and he WILL use that same ferocity against opposing council and the judge). Do not be turned off by his bluntness, and realism. It is exactly what you are looking for to get you fair justice in a divorce case. Even on the parts of your case you don't end up winning (because you can't control what a judge will do) he will make the best possible arguments to fight for you and what is yours(and he's so good he WILL get most of it), and he will do it with full knowledge of the law and absolute resolve to get everything he can for you.
#6 He is FULLY COMPETENT at everything in divorce law and proceedure and all of that. He has been in practice for years, and knows the system, the rules, the players (other attorneys and the judges) and exactly the right and aggressive way to get it done.
If you are a father like me fighting for your rights to get custody of your child, and not have to pay your x-wife every dime you've ever had to get it....STOP SHOPPING FOR ATTORNEYS and hire David. I will say it again...I wish to God I had found him from the beginning.
If I could give 10 stars I would.
He's very very very good, and he knows exactly what he is doing!!!!

David Pedrazas represented my boyfriend in a Divorce/Custody. He's now ex wife had taken his 4 children across country and prohibited the kids to have any relationship with my boyfriend for almost 2 years, we had to hire a Private investigator and had no luck until his oldest contacted him behind the mothers back. The ex wife justified her actions in court by making allegations of domestic abuse. It was a difficult case but David was so knowledgeable, honest and he fought for my boyfriend's truth. At the end the judge granted relocation of the kids and now my boyfriend has sole physical custody of his kids. I can't express enough how much he helped our family and how grateful we are for him. I really believe without him we wouldn't have won this case, he basically got everything my boyfriend wanted. David really cares about his clients and he's joy at the end of court demonstrated his commitment to bringing the children home. Kayla is competent, kind and honest. What else could you ask for in a lawyer. If you read through her reviews they are almost all five stars for a reason. When I first saw all the five star reviews I thought they might be fake, but after working with Kayla I can tell you they are not. Kayla works incredibly hard and like many other people have mentioned she makes herself available. On average I probably only had to wait 2 to 3 days for a response. If it ever took longer it was because she was either in mediation or trial. Kayla even made time to talk to me over the phone when realistically we could have completed what we needed over email. If I remember correctly, 95% of Kayla's clients settle in mediation and my case settled in one mediation session. Had I hired any other lawyer I doubt that settling in one mediation session would have been possible. Working with Kayla was a very positive experience for me. Not only is she very easy to work with but she also is a very kind and carrying person. Divorce is such a stressful time and Kayla is very sensitive to your needs. She took the time to help comfort me and help me feel good about the decisions I was making. She is so competent that this comes easily and naturally for her. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better lawyer!

Going through a divorce has been the most stressful thing in my entire life, and it is not something I could have done on my own. Before contacting Shane, I had interviewed several lawyers over the course of a few weeks. By far, I felt the most comfortable with Shane and Kayla. I do to this day recommended Shantelle to any one who might ask me about a lawyer. I was falsely (I know I know) charged but didn't have money to hire a lawyer could not be appointed one by the court, the DA dropped the charges down to an infraction which means no possibility of jail time there for they will not allow me a public defender, I was given Shantelle's information and gave her a call. She was very friendly, and made sure I understood everything before I agreed or signed anything, she worked with me on payments and best of all She got the charged dismissed! As my title suggests, Justin is a really great lawyer! I recently went through a divorce with included the custody of my two young children. I am sure you can imagine this was not an easy time for me. Being the father, and with my children both being so young, I was extremely worried I would be forced into minimal custody. Justin was always calm and was quick to answer my questions and reassure me that was not going to happen. He was always there when I called and he helped me through this difficult time. He was not about to give up on me or allow me to give up on myself and he diligently stood for what I wanted.
In the end, I received much more custody than I was originally offered and the opportunity to try for more when my kids are a bit older. Although I will never get as much time as I would like, which is seeing them everyday, Justin's help was invaluable during the case and I cannot thank him enough.
I would recommend Justin, along with anyone at his firm, to anyone I know who may be going through the same issues. It is a tough time for everyone involved and it definitely helps having someone like Justin on your side!

What can you say about any lawyer?
We've all heard the jokes about lawyers and how most of them have no soul and are only after the money.
I hadn't met a lawyer that didn't fit into that category until I met Margaret Olson. Ms Olson not only has a wonderful soul, she is also the most accomplished professional I know. She has treated me and my family like we were part of her family.
Like the title says above... I could not give a higher recommendation to someone looking for a lawyer who gets the job done and knows her stuff. She will handle your case professionally, and with a heart.

This review and my gratitude is long over due. Virginia was my lawyer during a long, difficult custody battle. Family law is a ugly business and Virginia is one of the few lawyers who is it for the right reasons; to protect children. Her morals are one of her best qualities.
