I started the divorce process naively thinking I could handle it on my own. I found out that was a very poor decision. This review and my gratitude is long over due. Virginia was my lawyer during a long, difficult custody battle. Family law is a ugly business and Virginia is one of the few lawyers who is it for the right reasons; to protect children. Her morals are one of her best qualities.
She is beyond professional; nothing will ruffle this women's feathers. Her manner is always sincere, calm, and collected. I learned so much from her.
When you call, If she does not answer right away her wonderful secretary Elizabeth is on it.
She is second to none and I would recommend her to anyone.

She was my lawyer when I was In jail and I was in a very delicate situation. I have an eternal amount of respect for her because she is extremely professional. Colleen gives everyone tons of respect and defends with lots of character, she displays a priority to make peace with oneself and the community. Even though at times I may have gotten confused, Colleen was an enormous blessing because she taught me. It was always important for her to show me to keep a positive learning composure. Mr. Johnson represented myself in a family law matter. The entire process from start to finish took a little over one year and the process was pretty pricey, but.... it was worth every penny. Mr. Johnson was amazing at keeping me informed and talking with me prior to making decisions. Each and every time we were in court he continued to amaze me at how knowledgeable and powerful he was. He is truly a very skilled attorney; in my opinion, I would say the best.
Mr. Johnson always made me feel like I was his most important client and always responded to my calls/emails immediately. By the end of the trial Mr. Johnson and I had built a relationship that I never thought possible with an attorney. He always had my best interests in mind and went out of his way to make sure my requests were fulfilled. Mr. Johnson has changed my life so dramatically and for the best. I do not know where I would be today with out him.

I contacted the Ault Firm at the beginning of my divorce. I had already filed papers on my own and they reviewed them for me during our free consultation. They suggested I simply continue on that track, because I was doing well enough...But to call them if I needed them.
When I got cornered by the opposing party's legal counsel, Chris stepped in and handled my divorce case most professionally and with great courtesy. We had a brief court appearance, and the outcome, though divorce is never the desirable outcome, was the best that it could be.

I went through the worst experience of my life and Cory Wall was there every step of the way. He helped me through a terribly vicious and excruciating divorce to the extent I will not discuss here, but involved criminal courts, family courts, lawsuits, evaluators, trial and so much more. It would be safe to that Cory is an honorable attorney and an honorable human. Over several years time we corresponded through thousands (no exaggeration) of emails, dozens of hearings and long nights where we both emailed back and forth to get the job done to prep for court. He was respectful and sensitive to the demeaning and dehumanizing situation I was in for the divorce. Absolutely horrible to work with! I wouldn't recommend her to anyone! Charged me $10,000 for a simple fill in the blank protective order document that was only supposed to take just a couple hours to fill out. She filed this document with false information despite me asking her to fix the mistakes. She was belittling and bullying to me throughout the couple weeks I tried to use her. It was so bad that I told her that I was thinking of using someone else for my divorce, and she got upset and dropped me for the protective order case which I had a hearing for just a couple weeks later. I had to quickly try to scramble to find a new lawyer and ultimately lost my protective order after having to spend even more money to try to get a new lawyer up to speed and to try to fix her many mistakes. Absolutely a nightmare of an experience! Do NOT use her!

If you're at the beginning of your divorce process you're probably a little scared and looking for someone who can give you advice and who you can trust. At first Emily seemed like she was exactly that and during my free consultation with her she came across as someone who would fight for me and protect me. I hired her thinking she was a high powered attorney that would get the job done, but in the end all she ended up being for me was a high priced attorney who cared more about getting paid than protecting my best interests. With only an 18 month marriage and a full pre-nup in place I should have had a slam dunk case, but Emily consistently dropped the ball and got caught off guard by my ex-wife's pro-bono freshman lawyer's antics and it cost me dearly. Emily's response to me everytime I'd get screwed was "well it could be worse" and she'd quote some other case she was working on that was a lot costlier. I never felt like she was in control or knew what she was doing, her communication was spotty, and she was constantly charging me to fix her blunders. Ultimately I felt like she didn't really care about me as a client and had more important things to worry about. With that said, I gave her a couple of stars because I guess she could have been worse.

Brent was my attorney through a difficult divorce. My ex-husband was an unwilling participant in the marriage AND the divorce. Not wanting to participate in the divorce made him difficult to negotiate with. Brent was able to see through his stalling tactics and eventually, we were able to force the divorce issue. Brent was effective in communicating with the narcissist who was my husband. It still took a while, but I was able to get out of the relationship with my dignity intact and with everything I wanted and needed. I am satisfied and grateful for Brent's experience and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an attorney who finds themselves working with a difficult partner.
