I highly recommend Mike Quade and his firm for help and expertise with real estate legal issues. We couldn't have been more pleased with their representation. Mike is an expert in insurance and construction issues. His support team is excellent in their skills and efficiency. Knowing that Mike and his team were there for us helped us immensely through the maze of litigation.
Mike would often tell me 'you only get one shot at the case.' He thought about the case relentlessly and knew the materials far better than any other attorney involved. Furthermore, he's creative and thoughtful. He's always searching for useful angles and ideas.
Litigation isn't a great experience, but I can't imagine how tough it could have been without Mike's constant work ethic and guidance. He genuinely cared about us as clients and people. I was pleased with the result and am very glad we were referred to him. I recommend him highly.

Michael Quade and team are the only lawyers in San Diego you should be contacting if you have an insurance claim. Our home incurred major structural damage due to a fire in 2009. Our insurance company had a different take on the matter and refused to pay what we needed to make the repairs. Our litigation was a long process and we believe other attorneys would have told us to “give up” and move on. Not Mike. He was there every step of the way. And we had a good result. His team is incredibly thorough –not a detail was overlooked (which can easily happen with a big lawsuit). When it came time to prepare for trial, he did his homework and no stone was left unturned. Mike’s deposition technique is masterful and he was able to uncover many lies and subterfuges. There are many who will say that all lawyers are alike. I can attest to the fact that Michael Quade is not like “all attorneys.” He has an incredible amount of integrity and has a strong sense of fairness and advocacy. I can’t say enough about Mike and his team other than if you want the best litigator in San Diego County, call Mike.

Michael Quade and team at Quade & Associates were highly recommended to me by a colleague when I needed an attorney. Mike proved to be the expert advisor, hard worker, and dedicated advocate which I needed to get the best possible results. Shortly after purchasing my condominium, I was devastated to learn of undisclosed structural damage which required costly repairs. I pursued the case on my own initially but feared I’d be stuck with the costs for major repairs and moving out of my home during construction. Then Mike got involved. He pursued the responsible parties, put together a rock-solid case, and successfully negotiated a settlement. I am very happy with the result. Ashley worked on my case with another attorney. I met Ashley the day of the court hearing, and she was very professional. We talked about the legal issue that I had right in the court house, and from there she worked her magic. She is definitely on your side and will 100%. She sees through bluffs and nonsense in people, which I wholeheartedly respect. She was able to talk to the opposing party before we met with the judge to agree to dismiss the case, which was amazing. Hire her for your needs, you will not regret it. She is 100% worth it. I needed an attorney to assist with a pseudo-domestic issue and Ashley was extremely professional, diligent, and helped to keep the costs down as well. Her legal advice was concise and understandable to someone such as myself with little to no legal experience in this area. She was extremely accommodating with working around my schedule, and she was able to handle all signatures on documents electronically, so I did not have to go out of my way to go to her office to sign documents. She also gave me a payment plan to pay off my balance.
Overall, very high value and extremely happy with Ms. Dudley. If I have legal issues in the future, I would work with her again.

Joellen took me on as client to assist me in getting paternity and custody of my 2 year old son. She is an excellent listener and give advice, even if it is not what you want to hear. Two years ago I was seriously rear ended on the freeway and my neck and shoulder took the majority of impact. After the accident I sought out legal counsel with 3 attorneys. And I will be honest, I was originally apprehensive to file a claim using an attorney. I did not want to get into a situation where my attorney would exaggerate my condition and accident just to get more money. I like to consider myself an honest person and I couldn't live with myself if I got strung into something that made me feel dishonest after. I needed medical treatments, I deserved compensation, but I was scared bringing in an attorney would snowball and get out of control. After discussing my car accident with the 3 different attorneys only one made me feel comfortable, Shahbaz.
Shahbaz and his talented paralegal Amanda became my legal dream team. I was never once pressured to do anything I did not feel comfortable doing. They listened to me, they understood what it was that I was looking for and they delivered. Any time I had questions or wanted an update they would respond within 24 hours by text, email or phone call. Insurance cases are known to move slowly and seem to take forever, so even if the update was that there was no update I appreciated not having to wait to get the response.
Considering I initially went into this claim with no major expectations of getting more than my medical bills covered and maybe a little for the trouble, Shahbaz was able to get the policy limit of the man who hit me and we settled for $50,000. It is no secret that in the current world we live in insurance companies are paying out less and less or simply refuse to pay. Shahbaz fought hard against the insurance company and got me what I never could have done alone.
If you find yourself in need of legal representation or are unsure if you need it, I would strongly suggest giving Shahbaz a call. I had a positive experience and will recommend Shahbaz to my family and friends.

When i first met with Lori, she encouraged me to get consults from other attorney's before i made my decision. I respect that because I did not feel forced into making a life changing decision. Lori was very knowledgeable and honest about my case. She was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. I engaged Ms Hoddy to represent me in an uncontested divorce. Even though it was uncontested there were a lot of details to consider due to it being a 20 year marriage with a minor child and a business. I found her to be both extremely personable and highly professional with a significant amount of related experience. She was able to clearly and concisely cover the legal aspects but also pointed out some very important personal considerations I would not have thought about. I was referred to Lori by another attorney who stated that Lori is the right attorney for my case. My case was regarding alimony for a CA considered long term marriage that I failed to obtain any relief in past court appearances. At our first consultation, Lori was very realistic and explained to me possible outcomes, obviously not miracles. Frann is a trustworthy and honorable person. She attempted to find a fair middle ground, working with the other Attorney, while always keeping my childrens' well being in consideration. She represented me as if she was personally involved, and I felt she gave me valuable and sound advice. Frann represented me on two different occasions, and in both cases, the end results were better than what I anticipated.

Obviously the fact that I needed to use Frann Setzer means I was in an undesirable situation, and when it’s your child’s wellbeing at stake it is a scary time. Attn. Fran Setzer was recommended to me by a previous employer and I'm truly grateful they did.
She was friendly from day one and broke my case down into different scenarios/possibilites. She gave me all the options and definitely advised me as to which were most practical.
She always followed up with me within 24 hours of a call or e-mail and if she was travelling/ OOO she would let me know beforehand.
Obviously divorces aren't pleasant but in the unlikely circumstance that it happened again I already know who I would call!!!! I was always a couple steps ahead and there were no surprises.

Like many other people I had poor experiences with larger firms and attorneys who were more concerned with making money than getting to know the client and working toward positive results for the client. In my experience with Daniel, not only did he take the time to get to know me, my case and the results I was hoping for, he made valiant efforts to keep me updated and aware of what my options were at all times. Even though finances are a big part of how aggressive clients can be in attaining the results they hope to see, Daniel kept me aware of what my options were, what the pros and cons were to each and gave me the information I needed to make the best decision for me. I would give 10 stars to Ms. Oxley if I could. I was on a nasty two and a half years divorce process. I was trying to take care of it on my own. I spoke to few lawyers before Ms. Oxley and I honestly lost all hope. My friend recommended Ms. Oxley. The way she explained the law and process was simple and straight to the point. Ms. Oxley took over my case not only because it was business but also because she saw how screwed I was and wanted to help. Ms. Oxley was firm, fair and did not sugar coat anything. After making a research on family lawyers, I found Mrs. Oxley, and was on the top of the list with 5 stars and great reviews. I did not disappoint making the top choice and higher stars selection. After the first visit, Mrs. Oxley review my profile and request, the same day she expressed that my concerns and request are valid and that we should proceed with together to achieve the rights as a father. I agreed, shortly after, Mrs. Oxley and Mrs. Yolanda to form a complete team to achieve all the goals set on the table. We started with mediation, opposition party denies all the rights at mediation, went to Los Angeles County court after mediation visits failed, and going with a strong character, well prepared lawyer it make a huge difference, It took just the first visit to start achieving all the custody rights and visitation rights. At the end Mrs. Oxley requested that the other party should pay for my attorneys fees and it was granted as well at the second visit. WoW!!, it just such of a great job knowing that life is so hard at times and here is Mrs. Oxley to return my smile and happiness.... It does not matter what time and what day of the week was, she was always working for us, I received calls from her at all times to ensure we were well prepared for our battles and it showed!! At all times that she was well prepared to counterfeit our opposition party.

I wanted to take a moment and thank Ms. Schaffer for all that she did for me. She made a very difficult time so much easier. I was in a highly contentious, high income divorce. While Sarah was very level headed and down to business, she took great care of me. We ended up using mediation. Sarah was so professional and it worked out really well. I am not Ms. Neumann’s client. But I can say she did a great job for her own client. Because she fought for a guy to win in DVTRO and get the shared custody. This is a guy who touched his 9 year old daughter during/after the shower and videotaped her while she was changing her clothes, and who withheld medication and night-guard from his 8 year old son, who developed migraine/headache and grinding teeth after DVTRO was filed. This does not even include what he did to his ex-spouse.

When I came to Sara I had hired and consulted another lawyer to handle a paternity suit that was sprung on me while I was visiting the USA after residing in another country. This was very difficult, as I could not leave the country with my child and go home to my husband and my child's stepdad (whom she views as her dad). I was very scared because I had single-handedly raised my child and I knew no one else should have the right to keep me from traveling anywhere, as this person had not even contributed to my child's birth or upbringing in any significant way.
But, that being said, the reality was such that I was being advised by my first lawyer that I should respond to the paternity suit with a move-away trial as I had barely missed dismissing the case with a jurisdictional claim.
I felt something was off though, because this case was so clear and cut (my ex was not on the birth certificate, he had not emotionally or financially supported me/the child in any significant way).
**I saw the light when I spoke to Sara. She confirmed my intuition with her expertise, immediately confirming that I indeed could file for a termination of parental rights. She lay my fears to rest. We met and I presented her with the facts of my case. After assuring me she would not take my case if she did not believe she could help me, I released my other lawyer from duty and hired her.
What a great decision!! She lived up to her reassurances: it took perhaps longer than the move away trial, which was inconvenient only due to my particular case of being in a country we no longer reside in, away from my husband and our new life abroad, yet so worth it so that, a) my husband could adopt my son; and, b) to get the ex out of our hair so that he could no longer make our lives difficult.
I had faced a lot of disempowering conversations amongst not only people, acquaintances, etc. but also lawyers: people discouraging me from doing the termination of parental rights just because it sounded "mean" and so "final" to them. I knew inside of me, however, that the way my ex was handling this was unhealthy and selfish towards my child, with a paternity suit (after I had tried SO many times to civilly settle for some kind of visitation, yet he disappeared whenever he wanted, was inconsistent, and really only looked after his own interests and not my son's, who needs consistency in his life) and not being agreeable to reaching some kind of settlement (other than keeping my child after he had NEVER had custody, ever, or even seen him more than a handful of times/hours in his years of life).
The point is--Sara empowered me. She never once questioned me, she backed me up 100% and was a strong ally. She understand completely what I wanted, why I wanted it, has a child herself and understood my protective feelings toward my child, that I was 100% committed to her best interest.
She did her job diligently. I knew I could count on her to show up at the court appearances, and made an uncomfortable situation even pleasant. She wrote the briefs in such a way that made complete sense to me. She has ample expertise on the topic of stepparent adoption and termination of parental rights. She knew a lot of the staff in the courts/ offices we were in, and they knew her. She was personable, kind, compassionate, prepared, in communication, easy to get a hold of. Her offices made it easy and pleasant to pick up/drop off documents.
Also, when I told her that I was looking to get budget-oriented towards the middle of the whole legal situation, she was so cooperative and helpful with this.
We won our case and just got word the appeal was dismissed as well.
Cannot recommend her enough if you are in this sort of situation. She certainly seems like *THE* lawyer to hire in any kind of similar situation. I recommend her fully.

I found that Ms. Scott was knowledgeable when it came to the custody case. Ms. Scott was always professional and genuinely cared about my dayghter and and myself. She was always informing me of the status of my case and different possibilites of the outcome. If I had questions I could call anytime and if she was not available she would call back as soon as she was able. Ms. Scott showed up to court dressed very professional and understood my wishes for custody. She would talk to me about an agreement and if the agreement was bad or not to my liking then she would voice that and not agree. Ms. Scott never pressered me to do or agree to anything, instead she recommended that before I would discuss anything to contact her. I had talked to a few lawyers in the area and all of them seemed to busy to sitdown and discuss my case, others would purse an expensive case. Ms. Scott made me feel comfortable and eager for me to dicuss my case. Ms. Scott would also inform me if doing something was a bad idea and educate me on a different approach, that was effective and saved time and money. I am a father and I could not have gotten my daughter back in my arms without the tremendous work done by Alexis Scott. I now have my five-year-old daughter back in my life AND with full custody after her mom abducted her and fled the state in 2009. I wasted precious time and money with the wrong lawyer for over a year. Roger's father took care of my divorce, and many years later, one of the aspects of that ruling came into effect. My ex wasn't cooperating, so Roger took on his father's case and worked the issue despite delaying tactics and attempts to skirt the law by the opposing party. Having interviewed many lawyers both in person and over the phone, none stood out to me as Roger Keithly did. Some of the lawyers that were interviewed were considered among the hardly affordable "San Diego Super Lawyers" and were asking ridiculous retainers that would have me getting a second mortgage on my house. All but one, Roger Keithly III, appeared to want to settle through mediation. For me, mediation was not an option. Every lawyer besides Roger seemed to want the case to settle in mediation. I, on the other hand, did not want to settle as it would infringe upon my rights as the parent to be able to decide who my child saw and for how long.
Roger stood out within the first five minutes as he demonstrated confidence and poise. He demonstrated that he truly cares about both the client and the child that is regarded in the case. Most importantly, he was willing to to bring such a contest to the opposing party that it would almost appear that weren't on the defensive side at all.
As a father with sole legal and physical custody, I found myself on the defensive end of a grandparent who was seeking visitation while her daughter, my ex-wife, is incarcerated. In the short period leading up to the case, He reviewed the laws thoroughly and came prepared and with confidence.
He took on my case with short notice, only a week after mediation with Family Court Services and three weeks prior to my hearing in front of the judge . In the courtroom, Roger was a true artsison, capable of defending my case in such a manner that the court would have no other options but to see an outcome in my favor. His courtroom ediquette and mannnerisms are second to none as he demonstrated the highest level of professionalism in the court room.
Roger retains my strongest recommendation for anyone with any Family Law matters at hand!

Amy has provided legal advice, litigation services, and has represented us both in court and in settlement negotiations. After her own thorough investigation of the facts, she is willing to go head to head against legal juggernauts and even government agencies. If settlement is not an option because opposing counsel is bent on litigating, she will zealously litigate for her clients; as she did for us. With her assistance we prevailed on a Writ of Mandate and Administrative Mandamus case (both in the appellate court and on remand) and had a breach of contract (in a related case) dismissed with prejudice even after the judge did not render a favorable decision. Jennifer Cone was a savior to me while I was going through an extremely high conflict divorce. From my first meeting with Michele I felt that she had my best interest at heart. She is obviously a consummate professional with scrupulous attention to detail. She formulated a plan for us to move forward with and was honest with me as to what to expect. Through this whole process she earned my trust and respect. I wish I would have retained her originally.
Katina was wonderful. She kept me informed as to the progress of my case. She is not only a knowledgeable professional, but a kind and patient person. Her support helped me get through more than a few frustrating times.
The whole office worked as a team. There are two more attorneys and plenty of staff at this office. When Michele was not available there was another attorney there to handle issues. Elizabeth Brown was very warm and personable. I was glad this group was on my side.
Divorce can be a terrible stressful experience. It can be compounded by a lack of timely response. I did not feel the delays in this case had anything to do with this team.
