First off I want to start off by saying Stefano was the 3rd attorney we hired for our case so keep that in mind when you think about how much clean up he had to do from the other two attorneys mistakes. I am normally not one to say anything negative about other but when it come to your family, choosing a family law attorney is so crucial and can really effect the future of The ones you hold closest to your heart! I CAN NOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH! please do your research! Had it not been for Stefano we would have never seen our granddaughter again! We raised her since the day she was born until just 2 months shy of 6 years old. Some may say this should have been a easy case but after what our first two attorneys created on top of our granddaughter being moved out of state it was a very detailed case that had to have a massive amount of detailed oriented attention. I come from a family of attorneys though they are all out of state so finding an attorney that did the job to my expectations was I would say hard to find but we found him! I can say with all my heart I truly felt like family had my back! That he was my family fighting for what he knew was right! Another thing I want to point out to whom ever is reading this when you have a good attorney you will understand the saying “don’t stress, your attorney will do the rest” there are so many things in family cases that you can not shut off emotions too. It is just impossible, it’s your family! Your kids, your grandkids, your wife, your husband and so on. So the key is to find an attorney who you feel peace and comfort with that you can trust! We as a family found that in Stefano! He did all he could to take every precaution to protect us along with Save as the max amount of money like I said I truly feel like my brother was standing there as my attorney! You can’t get better then that, you really can’t! We got more then what we had originally even asked for and how he did it protect us all for future relationships. Family law is hard it is crappy no matter what the case is! You see sides of people you could never imagine even have. Stefano reminds you of that keeps you humble and truly looks at all angles so you can have a clear picture of what you want long term and short term. All I Can say is if it wasn’t for Stefano and who he is as and attorney and as a man our family wouldn’t be in the place we are! I am on of the biggest mamma bears out there and he passes my approval with flying colors! I know this is just one review but we heard about Steffano from another friend who had all odds against him so that’s why went to that close friend because I knew whoever won his case I would give a chance to look my case! I hired The Schill law group to represent a family member. As I am sure any legal issue is extremely stressful, especially when you are not familiar with the way the process works. Jamie represented my family for our adoption in Pinal County. It had been a rocky few years to get to that point, and when it came time for the adoption to happen, we were in the middle of the pandemic and our hearts were broken, that it was going to happen over the phone. She and her staff arranged to do the adoption via Zoom, and we got to see the Judge and her in person. It was very thoughtful, and meant a lot to our family! She provided us with a packet of forms, and realistic time frames for how to get things done after the adoption was final, and even help fix the mistakes the court made when they misplaced some of our paperwork. I would recommend her and her friendly staff to anyone looking for an ally in this difficult process!

I had an issue with my husband's greedy heirs and needed legal counsel. In my search for representation I talked to no less than 6 firms. Joseph T. Kirshy of Owens Perkins was the only attorney who actually listened to me. My search was arduous but I kept coming back to Owens Perkins and Mr. Kirshy and he always took my calls.
The thing to know is that he never charged me for a consultation or the advise he gave me. I did ask him, "how do I pay you?" He told me that, based on the information that I had given him on our calls, I was covered and that there was no need for me to spend my money, at this critical time, on attorney fees. Truly Astounding, Extraordinary and down-right Exceptional!
I did not need to retain his services but if I ever do or know of anyone who needs to I would make only one recommendation, Owens Perkins and Joseph T. Kirshy.

Recently we were looking for someone to restate our previous Trust. We found Amy and had two meetings with her before we had her restate our Trust. We wanted to be sure we could work well together. We all agreed to move forward and Amy took the lead to get the process started. Amy was very generous with her time. We never felt rushed and she was always easily accessible by phone or email to address questions and send redrafts if needed. (LONG POST, BUT WELL WORTH YOUR TIME)
Jami was recommended to me by my Mother's estate attorney. I'd just traveled back to Des Moines for a class reunion, and received files from my ex-husband's business partner (who lived near us in Scottsdale part time.) These files not only proved he'd been embezzling from the company, but had also been using that money on "seeking arrangements dot com" to be a "Shuger Daddy" to many women around the country (at this point in our marriage, I didn't even like him much, but he knew because of my religion the ONLY way I'd ever divorce him would be infidelity--which I NEVER thought he'd commit...)
So, after seeing the file (AKA: my get out of jail free card) and getting Jami's info, I called her from Iowa. I told her that what I was about to say was going to sound crazy, but it was probably only the tip of the iceberg. I'm not sure if she believed everything I was telling her, but as we both found out over the course over the next nearly 2 & a 1/2 years, I was right -- it was not only the tip of the iceberg, it wasn't even 5% of it.
The divorce itself went very smoothly and quickly. However, to "punish me" for not getting back together with him after the divorce (I'd lied and said I HAD to divorce him to save face with my family--even though at this point he made my skin crawl), he decided to "get revenge" by fighting me for custody of our 4 children.
While this probably would have been a "no brainer" for anyone else, my issue was with my oldest daughter; her birth-mother (my ex's 3rd wife) passed away shortly after my daughter's birth. And even though I'd raised her since before her 2nd birthday, I couldn't adopt her because the ONE thing I needed to complete the process, but didn't have, was my ex's tax returns (he'd never filed them for around 20 years.) This left me with absolutely NO way to adopt her, and absolutely NO legal rights to her whatsoever.
Thus, a very LONG, ugly, and disgusting battle ensued (I've been diagnosed with PTSD), with the crescendo being a 2 & a 1/2 day trial. But by the end of that trial, I still have the VERY distinct impression that the judge could not STAND my ex. I could never gauge how he felt about me, but, man, he REALLY seemed to see what a scum my ex was!
Regardless, the judge ended up granting me soul custody of all 4 of my kids, the OLDEST included (my ex was granted paid visitation every other weekend -- which, of course, he never took.)
Granting me soul custody of my oldest was ABSOLUTELY unprecedented, and I don't think entirely legal in AZ, yet Jami made that happen. Granted, Judge Ryan also played a HUGE role in it all, but Jami was the person who methodically painted the pictures, both big and small, and put every piece of the puzzle into place for the judge.
To say that Jami is an amazing lawyer doesn't even come close to describe her skill, talent, and expertise. However, there honestly aren't ANY words other than AMAZING that come close.
I genuinely do not think a client could find a better lawyer than Jami Wilenchic. ANYWHERE.

I hired Jami Wilenchik for my complex child custody case and she was amazing! Jami was hired after I had started the process and before my trial and she caught up on everything and got me the outcome I wanted. Jami was very honest and to this day I still ask her questions as they come up. I would strongly recommend her if you want a winner in your corner.

Attorney Gottfried is very dedicated and always provides her clients representation to the fullest extent. She is very professional as her staff is as well. She is definitely someone you would want fighting for you, definitely someone you would want in your corner. My children were in an abusive environment and living with their father. I was inadvertently given Alona, after coming to the agency for another attorney to help with a divorce in 2008. I was not happy about the change and was told she was competent. During the 4 months of litigation and more than $60k on legal fees, my husband at the time managed to throw all kinds of things her way for which she was unable to handle. He sold an airplanes, paid off big business accounts, and hid money for which he had no recompense. She was clearly in over her head. I was writing emails to tell her what to do. I was so overwhelmed without the advocacy that I actually went back to my husband and spend 3 years making a different plan. I then had leverage to get out without being cheated. I was so disappointed with Alona's ability to handle my husband and his lawyer. I would not recommend her for a divorce situation where the husband has tried to hide everything and throws nothing but paperwork at her to cause more and more expense without ever getting anywhere.

I selected this law firm solely based on convenience and lack of research, my fault. Their staff is very friendly and pleasant to deal with; I will give them that. However, as my attorney, Brice was not a good fit for my case.
My case involved one minor child. The goal was to have the ability to move out of state with my child. Brice had ample information and time to prepare a rock solid case on my behalf. Well, he did not do that. He went into court very unprepared, had a very sloppy and weak cross examination. He failed to mention very pertinent details involving my child and her father. Didn’t highlight the benefits for the move. I could go on and on, but ultimately I was highly disappointed with Brice’s service and out 30k. Do your research before selecting any firm!
