Dylan Glick was my attorney and he did an amazing job advocating for me against my auto insurance company after what I felt was an unfairly denied claim. This was not a huge case as the value of the car is around $10,000, but he fought for me like I was a $1MIL dollar client. He was able to obtain a settlement that I was happy with. Great communication, always returned my calls and emails promptly. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend.

Hi JAKE. On 11/07/2022 my son laid in a hospital with multiple severe broken bones . A friend gave me Jake’s number. It was late in the evening. I called the office & left a message. He called me back right away. During Christopher’s next few months we were in constant contact. I’m a paralegal & it has been my experience after working with multiple attorneys. You can leave message & they call whenever it’s convenient , the fact that he called me back ASAP I MADE THE Decision to hire him on the spot..during every single process jake was super delighted to hear. The his team was amzing and wonderful. This law office team was awesome at making this case seamless via modern software. ha he was wonderfull in keeping me and Chris informed. I did the same for almost 6 months 2-3 days a week I would send him progress notesThe case had quite of bit of hiccups due to the insurance for the car that hit him had minimum coverage. Jake faught for Chris to get him a settlement that would be fair for a broken pelvis, broken feamer and multiple contusions. Thank you so much for everything. Chris is doing great. It only took him 7 months to get back to work. He took his settlement got a place remotely in Greenville NC. His employer matched his settlement as a bonus. Gave him a raise offered him a better job and will pay 1/2,,They also paid for his moving expenses. The company matched his settlement & gave him a raise with a very commendable letter. Thanking him for his hard work & jumping back in. Chris is a welder, not an easy job. Chris now has a nice home & a new job with his loyal employer Did I mention that we have never been in his office and we have never met Jake Finkel in person.. stop looking cause you will miss out on working your case .. Thank you Jake. I’m a very proud & blessed mama. P.S. I know that Jake shorted himself of his monetary gain in order for Chris to get more money.

David McWilliam has been my attorney since 2016. He is by far the best attorney I could ask for. Our case has finally come to an end last month. I came to Barrett when I needed help with my divorce and child custody case. He was recommended to me by a paralegal from another firm who knew that he had a reputation of fighting for his clients. Mr. Wells and firm handled my seperation case. After being told by my previous attorney that they could no longer handle my hearing after a conflict in dates, I was in desperate need to find someone to assist. I was referred to Wells Law Firm by a friend. Mr. Wells was able to clear his schedule to meet the next day. I enjoyed our conversation and his advice during the consultation. When my father died suddenly, as executor I had almost no idea how to go about handling his estate. Mr. Mixon got me in for a consultations on 2 occasions that same week & spent more than an hour advising me on how to go about probating the will, fulfilling my obligations as executor, etc. down-to-earth, has a good sense of humor, and was easy to talk to unlike some attornies I've met. I can't recommend Mr. Mixon enough; best money I spent while dealing with Dad's estate.

Jeff is one of the best lawyers in the Summerville area. I had what should have been a very simple divorce but due to how difficult my ex decided to be it turned out to be tremendously complicated. Jeff has been so wonderful throughout the whole process. He is very responsive and witty in his emails. For what was one of the most stressful parts of my life he always had me laughing. At the same time, he is extremely professional and knows how get things done in court. Jeff handled everything so I could focus on work and not have this divorce take over my life any more than it already had. When my ex decided not follow the court ordered divorce decree Jeff did not take my money and rack up more legal costs (which he could have easily done). Instead he referred me to a lawyer in CA (where my ex currently lives) to handle my case so issues could actually be resolved. He is an honest man who is actually here to help you. Do yourself a favor if you need a family law lawyer just hire Jeff!

Robin Lalley represented me in my divorce 3 years ago and I would not recommend her at all. For the most part (without her explaining how she does things), I worked with her junior attorney until all the hard work was done and then Robin jumped in. Robin was dismissive of all of my ideas and questions - even regarding significant, life-altering topics. Robin failed to educate me on major legal issues (thank God I educated myself or would have never known key aspects of my case) and she actually told me incorrect information on more than one occasion. Lastly, Robin did not want to do anything that would cause her to put forth even the least amount of effort. She acted like she was doing me a favor by meeting with me. And she was judgmental and condescending to boot. Go somewhere else. She is not a good lawyer or advocate and she has a defeatist attitude that is useless and the last thing anybody needs.

Very busy man, but very dedicated. He is obviously a very busy man for a good reason. This man dug me out of a hole I did not deserve to be in. If you are okay without constant communication unless something in your case changes or he needs more information this is your guy. That was definitely something I had to get used to. He loves children and only wants the best for them. He is extremely thorough and pays very close attention to detail. His goal wasn't to drain me of every penny I had instead it was to make sure that we got the best outcome possible with the case he had been presented. He is very professional, and straight to the point. He is very pro-active. I trusted him completely during my case to guide me in the right direction with little communication after initial consult and a couple appointments to catch up. I trust his opinion and yet he still wanted to let me know my choices. I would ask his opinion and choose from my choices then. He was always in my corner from beginning to end.

A few months ago, I got into a family dispute and Mr. Kinard really got me through it all. He was knowledgable and firm with his tactics on his paths to resolution. He was very concerned with my issues and was available when I needed consultation... at times even treated me like family. William has been my rock during my divorce. His calming demeanor and knowledge of family law is second to none!!! His fee schedule is very reasonable and I feel like his services thus far are well worth every penny!! I first met William roughly 6 years ago - when your 6 year old child speaks of moving to another country with his mother (my ex-wife) one must move quickly. Bill dropped everything for me and moved swiftly to prevent the move from taking place (notifying Colombian officials, the State Department, even bringing in the FBI when we were denied an emergency hearing). That issue has since been resolved, but this has been an ongoing battle for me, and Bill has been there every step of the way. There is no win-win in family court (especially in Greenville), but Bill has done the absolute best for me and my son - he has been a confidant, a counselor, a guide through these rough times (anyone who has been through a nasty divorce can relate) and most of all, a good friend. I'll never step foot in a courtroom without Bill by my side.

He will NOT be professional with your case and never answers your phone calls. He "handled" my divorce case but made all kinds of mistakes such as; not filing the proper paperwork, not requesting a hearing date and NOT serving the opposite party. He then took our money and ran instead of requesting another hearing date; therefore our divorce case has ENDED!

Don’t trust this lady with the most important things in your life. My divorce, went on for a year and a half. I paid $12k to this Law Firm to do nothing. First mistake the judge will appoint one lawyer to turn in the paperwork for child support. They appointed my lawyer She never turned it in. I Kept calling the courts house to see how much my child support . Then I find out she never turned in the paperwork. Her mistake made me behind $5000. Me and my ex-wife gave my father-in-law $50,000 to buy his company. Which we had 500 shares of stock in the company. Miss Bowen told me that in evidence finding that it was no proof of 500 shares. She kept on giving me the runaround about this. We went to mediator, That Miss Bowen did on zoom while my ex-wife and her lawyer was there. Saying that she had a flat tire but still charge me $3000 dollars for it. While she was never really present leaving the zoom turning her camera off so we couldn’t see her. Nothing got settled. Then the day before the final court date she called me saying that we did have 500 shares, but it was gonna be a problem in court. So I made a bad decision to go with what she advise me to do. But to find out later she was wrong. So I settle out of court to get half the money back from company that I put in. My settlement agreement was $75k. Miss Bowen told me I would receive that money within 3 weeks. It took 3 1/2 months before I got the entire amount. Had to call her and she only send me 25k. She said that the other money was held up in HER bank. 4 weeks went by had to email her she only sent me $20 thousand more. Then another 4 week went by I had to email her again then she sent me another $20 thousand. These went on for months. She did these like it was her money. A couple more things went wrong but I’m running out of room but I think you get the message. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Mr. Buhl explained to me about how long the appeal process may take. He sent me a questionnaire that I took to my Cardiologist and they completed it. I took the questionnaire back to him and he really didn't offer his services at that time.

They scheduled me a consultation two weeks ago. I arrived and waited 15 mins before going to the receptionist desk, only to be told that he is available. I had to ask if he had a paralegal to take my information for the case. Met with the paralegal, only to be given short handed answers and prices. Save your time and go somewhere else

On a recent visit to my mother's home, I was bombarded with the praises of Attorney Marc Brown and their paralegal Sheldon. I called dozens of attorneys before finally talking to Tim Domin. Most attorneys couldn't get me off the phone fast enough when they realized that I didn't have a big money case. Tim was willing to listen and understand my concerns. While he wasn't able to take on my specific case he did his research and followed up with me on recommendations that have put me on the right track. It's certainly more than he was required to do, but he was also courteous, patient, and understanding of my very unique situation. Thanks so much for the help Tim.

Mr. Ken Peck was my divorce lawyer for a year and he was an enormous failure. He did not solve my case, he wasted my time, was very expensive, and I had to find another lawyer. He was extremely hard to reach, it normally took 2-4 weeks of bothering his paralegal before I could schedule a call with him. He’d spend half the call (at $400 an hour) talking about military history or whatever was on his mind. When the opposing party came up with a bogus claim about a conflict of interest, Mr. Peck immediately dropped my case and did not defend me. Absolute waste of my time and money. I found a new lawyer who actually finished the job and defended me.

At the initial consultation, this guy went on and on talking about himself and his own divorce, and it seems he did that because he doesn't know very much about South Carolina law. I later found out that he is from Colorado, and most of his time practicing law has been there - and he didn't even practice family law! The bottom line is, he doesn't know what he is doing and I would not recommend him to anyone!

I did not know where to turn when my husband told me that he wanted a divorce. I asked friend, searched the internet, and interviewed some divorce lawyers on the phone. Ultimately, I decided to hire Ken Peck as my divorce lawyer. And, I am very glad that I did. Ken knows the law. He helped steer me through some sticky legal and practical child custody problems when he helped me negotiate my divorce settlement, as well as getting me a very good financial outcome. From the first call through the conclusion of my case, he demonstrated that he really cared about me and what happened with my son and daughter. Knowing that he went through a challenging divorce gave me confidence when he assured me that better days were ahead for my children and me. And, he was right! Our lives aren't perfect, but my children and I now have a better future because I hired Ken Peck as my family law attorney.

Ben Stevens is an excellent attorney. I sought Ben’s representation several years ago. My situation was quite complex. It involved issues such as clearly outlining custody/visitation arrangements, child support, and harassment. Ben proved himself to be extremely professional.
