My wife spoke with Jd. Strong today during a 30-minute consultation. He was excellent! He listened to her concerns and immediately provided her with resources to address them independently. Jd. Strong mentioned receiving 14 calls this week on the same issue from other folks. I highly recommend Jd. Strong; he is transparent, ethical, and knowledgeable. After two years of going through three public defenders, it was obvious my brother wasn’t going to get the impassioned, quality, professional, and most importantly… Effective defense he needed. There was no money and it looked like my brother was going to spend the rest of his life in prison. Literally the same week of his trial, some long awaited money materialized as if our prayers had been answered. Still – the money wasn’t enough. However, at the behest of a doctor, we made an appointment with Funk, Szachacz & Diamond. It changed everything. The lawyers listened, asked questions, and explained the limitations and the potential outcomes were they to accept the case. My brother is a disabled veteran and that carried a lot of weight with this team of lawyers and they accepted the case.
As a retired Army officer myself, I am always skeptical of people proclaiming they, ‘Support the Troops’. Too often the only support of troops offered is the sentiment behind the effort to place the bumper sticker proclaiming as much on the back of the car. Sentiment alone was not enough for Funk, Szachacz & Diamond. They understood action was needed to save this troop. And save him is exactly what they did – against all odds.

Mitch Polay really delivers, I had a recent gun case in which the Judge had increased my bond from 1k to 85k and 24 hour lockdown at home, I was unable to work, go to the store nothing. Mitch was able to get me off the ankle monitor completely even got them to allow me to travel freely in and out the country on 4 felonies. Everything he said to me was always factual, he really was a man of his word. The D.A. Had mentioned I scored out to a mandatory prison sentence of 2 yrs minimum. Mitch worked tirelessly and around the clock staying in touch with me every step of the way. I still dont know how he did it but all my charges were reduced to misdemeanors and I was let off with one year probation, he assured and reassured me several times he would do what’s best for me and he absolutely overdelivered. Through the years he became not my lawyer that I hired But a great friend and mentor in many aspects of my life. He is a well respected and a true professional. Mr. Canet is a lifesaver & the best attorney I could have ever asked for. The state wanted 8.5 years in prison and would not back down. My first attorney (NOT Canet) told me to take the 8.5 year plea bc my case was a clear win for the state and trial would be suicide. Within a month of hiring Mr Canet, he discovered missing evidence, contradicting testimonies AND internal investigation reports discrediting a key witness in my case. Once he started filing motions, he had the state so scared they put their best attorney on my case. At my first hearing, he had the state trembling & had the tenured officer on my case stuttering and fumbling his words. He made both of these experienced professionals look like unqualified rookies. Even the judge called the officers testimony “baffling” & pulled Mr. Canet to the side and said “you are a great attorney Mr. Canet.” He is aggressive and without a doubt the most knowledgeable in any courtroom. He is honest, fierce and a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. Needless to say I am a free man today, Thanks to Mr. Canet. I decided to use Carlos's after speaking with several attorneys after receiving another DUI charge with very special circumstances and a blood draw with serious consequences and several grey areas. Carlos was not the cheapest and made no promises but that is why I choose him. He was extremely knowledgeable of the law and very professional and always available. I couldn't have been more happy with my choice and can assure he was worth every penny. He kept me out of jail and continues to help me with my needs after the case has been settled. Other attorneys will promise the world and then leave you hanging. I've never recommended or reviewed an attorney ever but I thought it was the absolute least I could do. Would avoid working with this firm if at all possible. They are extremely slow to respond, completely disregard emails, and show a complete lack of empathy or understanding. If you are not consistently following up, you will be hard pressed to receive any type of response. If you do receive a response, it will be short and often times not even answer your questions. It consistently felt like we had to chase them down for the most simple requests. Go elsewhere if you have the option.

I met eric over a txt message spoke to him about 3 or 4 times concerning a major issue I was dealing with progressive he was very busy but also very attentive and concerned about everything that was happening! I met Eric through a friend, he spoke very highly of Eric, and guess what everything he said was 100% true cause I ended up hiring him. I am a victim of crypto scam. I have been knocking on every door I can possibly find hoping I can find help. Most people I talk to have no idea what cryptos are and how they work. The ones who do understand and can actually help are helpful only if there’s something in it for them.
