In 2022, I hired Loren Dickstein to represent me based on an allegation that I committed a serious federal crime. I did not and am innocent. Although it took about two years, Loren was able to stop the charges and I never even had to go to court. I’d love to thank Parisa personally again for her patience, tenacity, diligence and brutal honesty throughout my legal battle.
I reached out to Lewis and Dickstein Because of their reputation and our glorious state of Michigan. Parisa Sadrnia was the one who answered the phone after hours and consulted me for long after the initial consultation was or had ended.
I went in and her whole concern and attitude was to defend her client while showing a tremendous amount of patients because of being falsely accused of domestic violence.
There is an old term that we all know “ Pay for what you get”
Parisa is worth every penny and then some, and deserves even more than What the firm fees are.
I will and I am recommending to anyone in need of an absolute beast in a criminal defense. PARISA IS THE ONE!
She is Young, But I will say with her, she spares no doubt To her client that she is 100% there for them. Parisa will not leave one stone unturned that she cannot figure out or gain to help and defending or in your defense, as well as knows the exact approach.
I had a ton of evidence that we could’ve used. The things that we focused on in court because of Parisa‘s knowledge and experience, We did not have to explore half of that.
She obtained things that the government “ Prosecution” Was not aware that we had nor did we have to submit as evidence that we used in trial, which was incredibly damaging to the so-called victim.
I have never heard nor experienced a lawyer like Parisa at my trial with her ability to impeach, discredit, And embarrass the so-called victim on the stand that a panel of six women and one man all came back unanimously not guilty.
Mind you, I have had a criminal history that was in the past levels that were not violent that she navigated around the governments ability to use at trial as well as even setting forth the motion To just use the term victim at the trial, so it could not be said.
I cannot express my gratitude enough to Parisa and her team that also stands behind her because when you hire her, you hire all of them as well.
Every single one of them are a 10 out of 10 and probably the best law in the state of Michigan above and when I say above Jeffrey Figer, which is Hard to beat.
They are 100% again worth every dollar
I am not an easy person to sometimes deal with! But Parisa 100% talk to me at any point of the day or night, calmed me, reassured me, and also was straightforward again which I appreciate more than anything about the potential seriousness of the allegations that were against me.
She never lied to me. She never promised me anything nor did she ever tell me with everything that I had that I was OK or good and she could get it done.
She kept it 100% with me, She is one of the most straightforward, honest people that I’ve honestly genuinely ever met.
I am a finance manager at a local car dealership, I can tend to feed and read through a lot of the BS.
She is very genuine. She is the best at her job and she is a superstar lawyer that if I ever need again has my 100% loyalty.

My Mother hired Mr. Carron on my behalf and he turned out to be the best lawyer that I ran across in many years, he will give his input on things that may be better handled in a different perspective then yours and consult with you before making any changes that you felt strong about. After a very long struggle with defense attorneys who were uncaring, non-responsive, just "throw you to the wolves" kind of people and steal your money, we needed an appeals attorney. We contacted many many appeals attorneys and it became a coin toss between Mr. Carron and only one other attorney. We did not hire him, but we're hoping we made the right decision. Mr. Carron was very knowledgeable , responsive, caring and listened to any concerns or questions we had. We would HIGHLY recommend him if you are in the unfortunate position to need an appeals attorney.

Coming to this site I had little hope, I had been on several different sites, Ask an attorney? Get legal advice? I was givin misinformation each time. So basically I was gonna give it one last try lucky for me Dana answered my question unlike all the other attorneys that I had asked he actually knew what I was talking about. In fact Dana had handled some cases like mine. So he began looking into this for me. We have been corresponding for several days as he was doing research for me. But unfortunately he ha d explained that I had misses the deadline to file a claim by 3 days. My heart sank if I hadn't gotten so many bad answers in the past by professionals who really had no clue & didn't care enough to do some research i would have been able to file a claim. So unfortunately we couldn't continue with my suit at this time. But Dana reassure me he will look into extensions for this deadline & if he can do it he will get a claim filed in my behalf. So this is why I say he is 1 in a million a rare breed because who does that for people? Spend days trying to help them even at home going far beyond what he needed to. So I do know that with Dana Carron not only do u get a smart guy who works hard you also get a guy who gives a damn & actually cares for his fellow man. So thats a win win. .....

Faced with a multiple count complaint, I was looking at a possible 20+ year sentence. That, plus my poor health, just about guaranteed I might never see the light of day again. My first impressions of Mr Barone were of confidence, compassion and experience. In short order, Mr Barone had prepared a defensive battle plan for my case. When he presented it to me there was no sugar coating or outrageous promises. He explained his plan and warned me that I would need to be involved.
Mr Barone and his staff ensured I was kept up to date on the court proceedings throughout the case. He also explained any and all questions that I or my family members had about the case. He is a very personable man and easy to talk to.
To my advantage Patrick did not take no for an answer when dealing/ bargaining with the Prosecuting Attorney. He stated to me that he thought I should not be incarcerated, and that is exactly what he fought for and won for me.
I truly believe he negotiated a second life for me and I will be forever grateful for that.

I can’t Thank Dave Kramer enough for defending me on my case! My ex falsely accused me of domestic violence and my Kids were my witnesses. Police didn’t want to listen to me, Plus they wouldn’t interview my kids. Worse part My ex attacked me! Police will never really listen to us men! Even though my kids said to the officers my mom was lying! It didn’t matter at all.
Dave Kramer fought for me and told me We will win this and you will get at least 50/50 custody, plus we will get these bogus charges dropped!
I Prayed that I would be Free of these bogus charges and have my boys. At the end of the day, Dave kept his word I have my Boys 50/50 and proved my innocence. Charges Dropped! Thank you Dave!

I was charged DUI and was very much worried as a family man. After seeing Kramer’s experience and initial meet with him, I gained confidence but was very nervous until the case disposed. Kramer explained the process well and and given the clear options at every stage. Patience is the only key we should keep throughout the time. Mr. Dillon was very open and clear cut, he let me know all my options and told me what the court was most likely to do. He walked me through everything as this was my first time in court. I got 6 months probation with an OWI on my record with fines but the MIP was waived. A St. Patty's day slip up led me searching for a legal representative. Based on a friend's experience with this man in particular i contacted him. He was on time to our consultation. He then informed me his rates with the intention of not going to trial. Couple court appearances down the road he then decided it would be best to go to trial. His rate stayed the same therefore hes an honest and serious representative. In the end the case was totally dismissed. On the way out he then said, "A win for you is a win for me". Even though it was a insignificant case he handled it with total proessionalism and confidence. Made me feel alot more comfortable knowing he was there. 12/10 would recommend to anyone seeking legal advice/ representation.

Another lawyer wanted me to plead guilty and I almost listened even though I didn’t want to. Then I hired Mr. Khuja and he listened to me and walked me through every possibility with my case so I decided to trust him to do a jury trial. Immediate difference when I walked into court with him by my side. They started making better offers but I still turned them down because I knew Mr. Khuja could win my case. Trial lasted a week but it only took the jury maybe 15 minutes to find me NOT GUILTY. He was expensive but worth every penny. I owe him my freedom and will always be grateful for what he did for me.

I called Attorney Nacht for direction with a complicated legal issue. He had no jurisdiction in the state in which I needed help. When I was 33 years old my life was quite different than it is today. I am so grateful that I hired Mr. Phelan for my defense Attorney. I had hit my rock bottom when I met him. 2 seperate drug cases in less than 2 month in 2 different counties. I was looking at a 2 year mandatory sentence for possession with intent & possession.
One county (Kent) he got my charges dropped so no time there. The other county (Ottawa) the charges reduced to possession. I was given 3 years probation and some fines. I helped him by first taking responsibility for my charges and being proactive. I completed IOP ( intensive out patient) therapy, I attended AA/NA meetings and had a paper signed proving my attendance, completed 120 hours of Community Service (of my choice not theirs) I wrote a proposal to the judge offering action towards improving my self as a citizen in lieu of incarceration.
Larry didn’t really know what to do with a client like myself but he worked it in my favor. Giving me a second chance to make things right and live as a responsible woman. That is exactly what I did. I haven’t spoken with Larry in many years I have kept track of him for I’m a far. He is a fantastic, compassionate, fourth right attorney. If he asks you to do something,… do it!

In June I found myself in a situation that required legal counsel. I was under a lot of pressure to host a “Pinterest” graduation party for my daughter. There were lots of laughs, pictures and well lots of drinking…
At the end of the night I got my youngest to bed and stumbled my way to bed myself. On the way I overheard inappropriate conversation between my husband & my daughter’s friends. I told my husband to get out and the friends to go home.
Next thing I know my husband is right behind me yelling, pointing & forcing me into a corner. I went into fight or flight and needed to get away. My daughter whose graduation party it was came running up behind my husband to get him away from me. Not realizing in my attempts to get away, I pushed my daughter. She was not hurt physically. Emotionally startled and embarrassed I’m sure. I did get away into our bedroom and locked the door. My husband punched the door and entered the room. I continued to retreat to get away from him because I was terrified. I somehow was able to call 911 and they sent officers.
I cannot comprehend what the officer was thinking because I was arrested after calling for help. My husband’s lies convinced her that I assaulted him and my daughter. He even added that I racked a 9mm and “almost” pointed it at him…
I was arrested & in jail for the night. I started to panic & was terrified about potentially losing my job and/or licensing through the state in addition to losing my CPL & 2nd amendment rights.
I was initially charged with felony felonious assault and a few other things that I do not recall.
I started looking & researching who to hire to sort this mess out.
I had talked to a dozen attorneys & all I heard were the same lines- like a salesman working for commission. A few of them sat ok with me. But that was the problem… they were ok. When there is so much on the line mediocre is not what I was willing to accept.
I reached out to a trusted attorney that I had worked with previously on a civil matter from Warner Norcross + Judd. He referred me to Michael Bartish. I began digging into reviews & searching for articles about him. I reached out to SBBL Law. It didn’t take long for Michael to return my call.
After speaking with Michael over the phone I knew he was the guy. He was direct yet empathetic. He listened to what was important to me and the fears I had. He was reassuring without over promising any sort of result. He never said any of the lines I’d heard from the previous attorneys who seemed to not be genuine.
Over the course of about 2 months Michael walked me through the process, explained everything so that I understood. I could feel he was vested in this fight with me from our first court appearance. His presence and confident demeanor brought me peace at some of the most emotional times I had faced in a long time. Michael included me in every aspect of the case and looked to me to make the decisions on plea deals that were offered. He supported my decision to go to trial. He still never promised a winning result but his confidence gave me the confidence to fight this.
I had never watched a jury selection. The jurors likely never were jurors before. Watching Michael educate the jurors while assessing their ability to be impartial for the anticipated trial was nothing short of impressive. He has power in his voice & not the sort that’s disrespectful or arrogant.
At hearings Michael made clear arguments backed by law. He crushed every move the prosecution attempted. He has passion and speaks with a dominance you only see with true experience.
The prosecution dismissed the case. Any headway they attempted was shattered by Michael. It was a huge win for us! Michael and I joked that it was a bit disappointing not going to trial. Watching him in the courtroom knowing his abilities I felt it would be a sure win and it would put the prosecutor in his place even more.
If I ever need a defense attorney he 100% will be my guy!

Well..before covid I recently lost my wife to a horrible illness..I live in arkansas but from Michigan..I called shawn before the covid deal to help me with a bench warrant...he took it on..then all the courts shut down during that..recently I contacted shawn..I always kept his number..it took me days to find a attorney from Michigan who would help me since I live out of state before the covid deal..well..he was gonna help me again..I made some calls to Michigan before I contacted shawn to see how I could take care of my bench warrant out of state..I made so many calls I forgot who was who..so when shawn said he help me again..I started thinking if he said to turn my self in what would happen to my dog..I made my dog a service dog for depression I went through after my wife died..today.some place called me and I thought it was a place to help me out with my dog situation. I started talking about maybe I will have to turn my self in and such..and you think there are lawyers who really do pro Bono like in the movies..then when they said who they were actually are..I said ok..I'm good..cause you know I asked shawn to help me..so..later he calls and said he heard my name in court.im thinking huh?.I explained what I said..and I asked him are you still gonna help me..he said..no..I'm not gonna help you and just hung up on me..wow..I don't even know what I did wrong..maybe I should have asked him that about my service dog..I didn't know!!...all he said to me before he hung up was.and I quote (you got it all set). Like I waisted his time and that was never my intention..he is a nice lawyer.
