My Life Includes some horrible decisions, like drunk driving, but one choice I’ll never regret was hiring Jonathan Jones to guide me through the Legal System! Facing a 3rd DUI, I was a wreck, scared of everything I was up against, until I met Jonathan. Not only did he provide some calm , I actually really liked the guy!! One doesn’t get into this position without being a full blown alcoholic, he knew it , got me on the road to sobriety right away, and encouraged me to use this situation as a bridge to the rest of my life. My Mother hired Mr. Carron on my behalf and he turned out to be the best lawyer that I ran across in many years, he will give his input on things that may be better handled in a different perspective then yours and consult with you before making any changes that you felt strong about. After a very long struggle with defense attorneys who were uncaring, non-responsive, just "throw you to the wolves" kind of people and steal your money, we needed an appeals attorney. We contacted many many appeals attorneys and it became a coin toss between Mr. Carron and only one other attorney. We did not hire him, but we're hoping we made the right decision. Mr. Carron was very knowledgeable , responsive, caring and listened to any concerns or questions we had. We would HIGHLY recommend him if you are in the unfortunate position to need an appeals attorney.

Coming to this site I had little hope, I had been on several different sites, Ask an attorney? Get legal advice? I was givin misinformation each time. So basically I was gonna give it one last try lucky for me Dana answered my question unlike all the other attorneys that I had asked he actually knew what I was talking about. In fact Dana had handled some cases like mine. So he began looking into this for me. We have been corresponding for several days as he was doing research for me. But unfortunately he ha d explained that I had misses the deadline to file a claim by 3 days. My heart sank if I hadn't gotten so many bad answers in the past by professionals who really had no clue & didn't care enough to do some research i would have been able to file a claim. So unfortunately we couldn't continue with my suit at this time. But Dana reassure me he will look into extensions for this deadline & if he can do it he will get a claim filed in my behalf. So this is why I say he is 1 in a million a rare breed because who does that for people? Spend days trying to help them even at home going far beyond what he needed to. So I do know that with Dana Carron not only do u get a smart guy who works hard you also get a guy who gives a damn & actually cares for his fellow man. So thats a win win. .....

I can’t Thank Dave Kramer enough for defending me on my case! My ex falsely accused me of domestic violence and my Kids were my witnesses. Police didn’t want to listen to me, Plus they wouldn’t interview my kids. Worse part My ex attacked me! Police will never really listen to us men! Even though my kids said to the officers my mom was lying! It didn’t matter at all.
Dave Kramer fought for me and told me We will win this and you will get at least 50/50 custody, plus we will get these bogus charges dropped!
I Prayed that I would be Free of these bogus charges and have my boys. At the end of the day, Dave kept his word I have my Boys 50/50 and proved my innocence. Charges Dropped! Thank you Dave!

I was charged DUI and was very much worried as a family man. After seeing Kramer’s experience and initial meet with him, I gained confidence but was very nervous until the case disposed. Kramer explained the process well and and given the clear options at every stage. Patience is the only key we should keep throughout the time. He changed my case to Reckless and made sure i am not receiving any other sentencing, he really made it. I would highly recommend him for any criminal charges and he would do wonders.

Another lawyer wanted me to plead guilty and I almost listened even though I didn’t want to. Then I hired Mr. Khuja and he listened to me and walked me through every possibility with my case so I decided to trust him to do a jury trial. Immediate difference when I walked into court with him by my side. They started making better offers but I still turned them down because I knew Mr. Khuja could win my case. Trial lasted a week but it only took the jury maybe 15 minutes to find me NOT GUILTY. He was expensive but worth every penny. I owe him my freedom and will always be grateful for what he did for me.

I had no hesitation in hiring Mike for my second OWI. He kept his word, and worked his magic to push my Sentencing past Michigan's 7 year window between OWI's. Therefore, being able to plea to a first offense, which changed the outcome of my potential consequences. I was looking at 14 days in jail, among several other possible punishments. I'm grateful to be writing this from my own home, as he was successful to get me probation and the privilege of keeping my license (with restrictions, of course). In June I found myself in a situation that required legal counsel. I was under a lot of pressure to host a “Pinterest” graduation party for my daughter. There were lots of laughs, pictures and well lots of drinking…
At the end of the night I got my youngest to bed and stumbled my way to bed myself. On the way I overheard inappropriate conversation between my husband & my daughter’s friends. I told my husband to get out and the friends to go home.
Next thing I know my husband is right behind me yelling, pointing & forcing me into a corner. I went into fight or flight and needed to get away. My daughter whose graduation party it was came running up behind my husband to get him away from me. Not realizing in my attempts to get away, I pushed my daughter. She was not hurt physically. Emotionally startled and embarrassed I’m sure. I did get away into our bedroom and locked the door. My husband punched the door and entered the room. I continued to retreat to get away from him because I was terrified. I somehow was able to call 911 and they sent officers.
I cannot comprehend what the officer was thinking because I was arrested after calling for help. My husband’s lies convinced her that I assaulted him and my daughter. He even added that I racked a 9mm and “almost” pointed it at him…
I was arrested & in jail for the night. I started to panic & was terrified about potentially losing my job and/or licensing through the state in addition to losing my CPL & 2nd amendment rights.
I was initially charged with felony felonious assault and a few other things that I do not recall.
I started looking & researching who to hire to sort this mess out.
I had talked to a dozen attorneys & all I heard were the same lines- like a salesman working for commission. A few of them sat ok with me. But that was the problem… they were ok. When there is so much on the line mediocre is not what I was willing to accept.
I reached out to a trusted attorney that I had worked with previously on a civil matter from Warner Norcross + Judd. He referred me to Michael Bartish. I began digging into reviews & searching for articles about him. I reached out to SBBL Law. It didn’t take long for Michael to return my call.
After speaking with Michael over the phone I knew he was the guy. He was direct yet empathetic. He listened to what was important to me and the fears I had. He was reassuring without over promising any sort of result. He never said any of the lines I’d heard from the previous attorneys who seemed to not be genuine.
Over the course of about 2 months Michael walked me through the process, explained everything so that I understood. I could feel he was vested in this fight with me from our first court appearance. His presence and confident demeanor brought me peace at some of the most emotional times I had faced in a long time. Michael included me in every aspect of the case and looked to me to make the decisions on plea deals that were offered. He supported my decision to go to trial. He still never promised a winning result but his confidence gave me the confidence to fight this.
I had never watched a jury selection. The jurors likely never were jurors before. Watching Michael educate the jurors while assessing their ability to be impartial for the anticipated trial was nothing short of impressive. He has power in his voice & not the sort that’s disrespectful or arrogant.
At hearings Michael made clear arguments backed by law. He crushed every move the prosecution attempted. He has passion and speaks with a dominance you only see with true experience.
The prosecution dismissed the case. Any headway they attempted was shattered by Michael. It was a huge win for us! Michael and I joked that it was a bit disappointing not going to trial. Watching him in the courtroom knowing his abilities I felt it would be a sure win and it would put the prosecutor in his place even more.
If I ever need a defense attorney he 100% will be my guy!

Poor communication. He rarely returned calls. Was retained for a post conviction case (appeal) and this attorney presented the same evidence as the trial attorney… no new evidence nor error was presented in the appellate brief….he was not prepared nor did he research the case. Very disappointed.. would not recommend.

While, I was never the most compliant client. Patrick was always professional, realistic on his advice and strategy and always gave you a level of re-assurance. He made time and gave me his personal cell phone number despite his schedule and honestly got me a result that has me believe, there truly was someone looking out for me. Both counties were far from where Mr. Barrone practiced, however he was still able to get my Bay County case completely dismissed. Faced with a multiple count complaint, I was looking at a possible 20+ year sentence. That, plus my poor health, just about guaranteed I might never see the light of day again. My first impressions of Mr Barone were of confidence, compassion and experience. In short order, Mr Barone had prepared a defensive battle plan for my case. When he presented it to me there was no sugar coating or outrageous promises. He explained his plan and warned me that I would need to be involved.
Mr Barone and his staff ensured I was kept up to date on the court proceedings throughout the case. He also explained any and all questions that I or my family members had about the case. He is a very personable man and easy to talk to.
To my advantage Patrick did not take no for an answer when dealing/ bargaining with the Prosecuting Attorney. He stated to me that he thought I should not be incarcerated, and that is exactly what he fought for and won for me.
I truly believe he negotiated a second life for me and I will be forever grateful for that.

Mr. Dillon was very open and clear cut, he let me know all my options and told me what the court was most likely to do. He walked me through everything as this was my first time in court. I got 6 months probation with an OWI on my record with fines but the MIP was waived. I was very satisfied with my sentencing and would 100% recommend hiring Mr. Dillon to anyone that needs legal help and would definitely consider hiring him again should the circumstance arise.

A St. Patty's day slip up led me searching for a legal representative. Based on a friend's experience with this man in particular i contacted him. He was on time to our consultation. He then informed me his rates with the intention of not going to trial. Couple court appearances down the road he then decided it would be best to go to trial. His rate stayed the same therefore hes an honest and serious representative. In the end the case was totally dismissed. On the way out he then said, "A win for you is a win for me". Even though it was a insignificant case he handled it with total proessionalism and confidence.
