I would like to personally extend my gratitude to Shawn Brown due to how effective and efficient he was. Upon meeting him, I respected the fact that he listened to me and my case, paying attention to the details I provided him.
Shawn was able to get my case dismissed within rapid fashion. My case was considered "High Profile" to which it should have taken 8 months to 1 year minimum if not more to be handled. Shawn was able to get this done in 2 months which speaks volumes about his experience.

He recommended I take the deal, which I did. But I remember very well he added if I did 2 years of the 5 years’ probation he would work to get me released sooner. Inside, I didn’t believe that would happen and he wasn’t being honest. But 2 years later to the date he followed through, and I was released from probation. And what a relief. Not being worried all the time. Yes, I had things to do on my end to make that happen. But I go to enough AA meetings and hear of similar offers people get and their lawyers do not follow through. Even when the person does their part. That is why I was lucky (grateful) to have him. That look he gave me in my eyes was sincere, even though at the time I wasn’t believing it.

PAY ATTENTION!!!!! I reached out to King because he had good reviews. He literally was the first & only lawyer I reached out to (also the 1st one that popped up..lol) thank GOD! We payed him a consult Fee due to how far he had to travel but ended up not needing to hire him because the case was dismissed. Mr. King is a stellar attorney!! I consulted Jeff when I was made to show cause for false official statement and fraternization and was immediately impressed by him. He came highly recommended by a friend who also trusted and was let down by the system, but Jeff proved she was NOT guilty at a Court Martial. I was falsely accused of egregious professional misconduct under the Army’s SHARP program. Due to the notoriety of SHARP in the current command climate of the Armed Forces, that false allegation resulted in me facing not only an other-than-honorable involuntary termination of my military service but also irreparable and irrevocable harm to my professional career. The opprobrium of being labeled a “predator” presumed guilty of false sexual misconduct and the subsequent isolation stemming from the Army’s stance of ‘guilt by accusation’ in matters pertaining to SHARP showed my family and me a new level of hellish fear as we felt the weight of the Department of Defense smothering our integrity, honor, and livelihood. I was referred to Colby Vokey by a trusted friend, and that referral changed our lives. Mr. Vokey told my story; the truthful story. He provided encouragement and support and continuously stoked the will to fight back against the injustice of a system designed to protect victims but that was being weaponized against me. I've been working with Amber and her team for the past three years. She's one of the most important people in my life. She was able to get a very serious charge dismissed for me.
The amount I paid her felt like a lot at the time but in retrospect it was nothing. I would've found a way to pay her twice that. I heard about someone who had her appointed by the court and I just think, what incredible luck. If you get her appointed or if you've just hired her just do what she asks and you can sit back and relax. I feel so lucky to have chosen her to represent me. Things could've gone very differently for me but I hired her and saw true justice done.

I just called her office to request information regarding a case from 20+ years ago. Her office manager, being 30+ years experienced in crime records reporting, took her own time to advise me on the process and how to proceed, without having to hire a legal counselor at all. Mrs Vazquez has the right team working for her, and if I am ever in a need for a legal counselor again, I won't shop around, I've already found the right counselor and team. When you look for a Lawyer you want someone that you can trust. Amber keeps her word. I found Amber outside of AVVO and hired her. She has compassion but has the intensity when it is needed.
