Mr. Garcia was recommended to me when my daughter was arrested on a first-offense DWI charge. Soon after our initial phone conversation, he went to check on my daughter and to reassure her, which was a huge thing for us in these uncharted and very scary waters. Throughout the confusing and overwhelming legal process, he handled matters professionally and with genuine concern for my daughter, serving as our focal point of stability and help. The first thing I noticed about Louis is how hard he works for his clients. He is very thorough and makes sure to explore every option for recovery. I highly recommend Mr. Anthony P. Troiani to anyone who needs legal advice. I can honestly say I trust him and felt throughout the long process, he truly cared for my case as if it were his own.I was charged and jailed, alleged DWI. Shortly thereafter made my phone call and phoned a friend who left a message after hours with Mr. Troiani' s office. Mr Troiani contacted the jail personnel, exchanged information with authorities and a left message for myself all before 8:00 a.m. This city was not home for Mr. Troiani or myself. He continued to gather information from the DA, multiple expert witnesses’ documents, made multiple court dates requiring plane travel. He communicated well and established rapport with prosecutors, as if they were his home town friends and resolved the case without my receiving a trial, DWI conviction, probation, community service, and only a $100.00 fine and minimal court costs. I feel confident that this fine would have been avoided had I risked a jury trial and spent several more months waiting on a trial.

I was lucky enough to come across Andrew while facing a charge that didn't make sense to either of us. I knew nothing about the law and the rights I had until meeting with him. Greg has helped with a complicated marijuana related offense that could have resulted in a prison sentence and was able to get a reasonable probation granted and the ability to keep working without a Texas prison record. I recommend him. He also helped refer another family member in El Paso to a college who helped keep her record clean and remain eligible for a federal job after a small marijuana possession charge was dropped.

Gregory Simmons was appointed for my husband's case recently. Luckily the case was dropped about as quick as it was charged. This attorney is definitely on top of his stuff though. When he went to visit my husband he had paperwork for my husband to fill out so he could talk to me. Also he had a plan as to what the next steps of action he was taking would be. He was well prepared. When I contacted his office they were very helpful and let me know what was being requested and the status. When I called back as requested a few days later, we were advised that because the case was dropped before the request was completed there was nothing more available. I have no doubt that if we would have needed to proceed further with more time that this attorney would have been great representation for my husband.

I used Douglas A. A'Hern for my husbands case it was a drug case and Mr. A'Hern was always available anytime I would have a question. He would personally answer any question or concerns I had. He took the time to explain why and how he was doing things. Having used numerous attorney's in the past I know that it is hard to find a good one that does not want to retire on you. I have used D. A'Hern for several differant cases with myself and my family and I will continue to use him in the future as well as refer family and friends. He took the time to explain the process that I was going through and at each step explained what was happening, what I could expect and how we were going to achive the desired result. I found that he was very knowedgeable and responded in a timely manner when I asked questions about the probate process and how to proceed. This process has been very difficult to deal with since there are several family members involved and he has continued to help focus on the task at hand even when your personal character is attacked for trying to fulfill the last wishes of a loved one. John Toland is my hero! He is a down to earth, sincere professional. I was charged with a federal crime and facing the possibility of up to 15 years in prison and needless to say this was the scariest time of my life. When I met with John I knew he was my attorney. I recommend the Peek & Toland firm 100% - they gave me 110%. We won one of the most difficult cases with the odds completely stacked against us. I would say at least 90% of other Austin law firms would have lost my case. I say this because other firms I brought my case to were very negative on the case. While Peek & Toland were not exactly positive on my case, they were willing to exhaust every possible avenue under the law to win the case, and they did!

Mr. Gilmore is a ex student of my parents so it was a “no brainer” when it came to who we should hire! I had a pretty lengthy criminal history and when this all happened I was “living right”!! I had changed my life completely around! I was on nueces county’s top ten most wanted because I got indicted almost 3 years after being charged with possession of a controlled substance. My family member was accused of a crime near Lubbock Tx and incarcerated . He was beaten and sent to the hospital while in police custody. They had no proof and no witnesses whatsoever and he was humiliated just because he was illegal. Cynthia took our case and within a month all charges were dropped and deported. She's the best! The first thing Robin McCarty did was lay out my case, the possibilities - both good and bad - with straight forward, even if brutal, honesty. Many people have ended up with dire consequences because their case was sugar coated and made to look like no problem. Robin sits with you and tells you the truth.
Robin then carefully, patiently, guided me through the process for almost two years - the end result was a full dismissal of charges.
One unique thing about Robin, he was a former peace officer and previous prosecutor - so he understood both sides of the system. This was tremendously helpful.

Mr. Turner in addition to being knowledgeable and skilled, he is above all else, personable. His colleague Joan Marron is equally accomplished at her craft. My son got into an unfortunate mess by being at a college Frat party that was raided. He received a Minor in Consumption. Being lazy, he didn't take his required class and a non-compassionate Judge suspended his driving license for 6 months. Being naive, my son was caught driving with a suspended license. Great lawyer my son got credit time served for the 3 days he was in jail and and had the felony reduced down to a misdemeanor with a plea of guilty on a case that he could have spent no less then two years in prison for but up to an maximum of 7 years that he could have been sentenced to that were based off of tampering with electrical lines and down to theft of services . I would definitely hire this man because he actually cares about his clients and it shows through the work he does to handle their cases.
