I had a personal Injury case due to a bad car accident. I was rear-ended by a post office vehicle at a red light. Phil explained the process to me and walked me through every step of the way. He kept me up to date with the case the whole time. He went above and beyond for me and family. He even helped me by explaining the property damage portion which was not included in the contract and he had no obligation to help me with. I was referred to David by a friend of mine who went through a bankruptcy himself. David and his team were absolutely top notch in their representation of my Chapter 7 case. I had a very complex case with very little assets while going through a contested divorce. David walked me through every step of the process, timely answered all my questions, and kept me and appraised of the status. He promptly replied to my divorce attorney emails as well when the case was filed, which helped me along the way.
I thought initially a case like mine would cost over $10,000 and David was able to do this on a very reasonable flat fee. I strongly recommend him for anyone who is considering going through a bankruptcy and needs some guidance without the stress.

Sandy had been helpful in the past with a residential closing, but I recently employed her to help me secure a commercial property, and she caused me to lose the contract by doing half-a** work. It seemed like she just didn't care, which was disappointing. Would not recommend hiring her unless it is a super easy transaction and she doesn't have to do much work.

In trying to obtain a loan modification from Bank of America, and not getting any response, I was forced to hire an attorney to save our house. Ms. Crowell has been truly wonderful. She is very knowledgable in real estate and foreclosure law, extremely responsive to any questions and concerns I may contact her about by phone or email or in person, and goes beyond the call to not only keep me informed, but to give me several options that we can look at. I truly appreciate her balance of professional aggressiveness in dealing with Bank of America and their attorneys, and you can tell she really cares about the concerns of her clients. She has helped me with not only the present state of our case, but also points out concrete options based on how things might play out going into the future. Because of her additional experience in bankruptcy law, she has even spent time explaining last resort options to save our home, in case The Mortgage Company decides that it is better to just sell the property rather than approve a modification. He is a well respected and well liked member of the McHenry and Lake County legal communities. We retained him for two separate cases and have no doubts when it comes to placing our trust in him to act with the best interest of our family in mind.
I initially retained Mr. Shunneson to register a parenting plan in Illinois (my career moves me around a lot). This simple case quickly became very complex and high conflict because of an uncooperative respondent. When my case became exceptionally complicated, Drake accepted the challenge head on.
