We are very grateful for the legal help that Damien and Leigh Law Group staff provided to our family. Damien’s expertise and rich experience in the Education law, clear communication and dedication were instrumental in getting the favorable outcome that our child deserved, we wholeheartedly recommend Leigh Law Group and Damien’s services to any parents seeking help for top-notch legal representation for their children.
We found Leigh Law on the Internet, it was a very stressful time for us as we never experienced the situation that our child put himself in and had very limited time to find a lawyer. In the first consultation, from the questions Damien asked us and the potential strategy he mentioned, we immediately felt that he knew this area very well. He already gave us useful guidance and tips at the free consultation meeting. After we signed the retainer agreement, based on the new information, Damien adjusted the strategy, he explained very clearly the pros, cons, risks and benefits and costs to us so we could assess and make informed decisions. He worked diligently, constantly replied to my emails after mid nights (I wrote to him at midnight as it was the only free and quiet time for me to deal with this issue after long working days, but I was expecting replies in the morning) and even on weekends. We rarely dealt with lawyers before, let alone education laws and related legal documents, we had many questions, Damien was always responsive and patiently answered our questions. With the strong case Damien put together using the information he strategically gathered, we settled the case with the school district, got a favorable outcome beyond what we originally hoped for, and more importantly, got the section 504 plan for our special needs child. I can’t say enough about Mandy and her team and what they achieved for our daughters education. The school district was not able to meet our child’s needs through the IEP process and allowed her to fall behind for years. We went through 3 or 4 heated IEP meetings where the district blatantly and continually fell short of goals and services. The district finally pushed us into finding someone to help us. Within a very short amount of time of hiring Mandy all of that changed. She was able to get us a settlement agreement and our daughter into a private school that meets her needs and is thriving. Our daughter never has to feel that way again and is able to move on with her learning journey for years to come. Over the entire process Mandy and her team made us feel comfortable regardless of what was happening at the time. We felt in good hands and always had confidence in Leigh law’s ability’s. Leigh Law group is it and worth its weight in gold. I would highly recommend giving them a call if your child has any educational needs that are not being met.

Attorney Marc Pelta is a refreshingly straightforward lawyer who takes care of business! I would give him 10 stars if I could.
An associate recommended Pelta Law who resolved some complex family problems for him and my case had issues that needed a professionals attention. You need to have an open mind and realistic expectations when dealing with the California courts because nothing is set in stone. That’s why it was important for me to find an experienced lawyer. Mr. Pelta has the experience and the skills to back it up! From our first consultation, it was clear that Mr. Pelta has a deep understanding of the law and a sharp mind. He quickly grasped the complexities of my case (where other attorneys did not) and created a game plan that ended up working well beyond our expectations.
Btw, if my results would have been different, I still would have left a positive review. Mr. Pelta truly cared about my case and that's rare!

During **my child's dependency case**, I had high hopes when I hired **Attorney Mark Pelta**. He assured me of his expertise in **CPS and family law systems**, as well as handling **domestic violence cases**. However, my optimism quickly faded.
First, I discovered that his claims didn't align with reality. His **LinkedIn profile** revealed a lack of relevant experience. During the trial, other attorneys criticized him, and **unsettling behavior** was noted by key witnesses and supportive services workers.
To make matters worse, Attorney Pelta **refused to return photographs** of my child, which were crucial evidence for the court proceedings. Despite paying him **$10,000 upfront**, he attempted to charge me an additional **$5,000 for a restraining order** that had been lodged against me. This left me feeling frustrated and betrayed.
In the end, Attorney Pelta **lost my case**. His threat of "harassing an officer of the court" was both unprofessional and alarming. Throughout the process, he made other **rude remarks**, further adding to my disappointment.
Having gone through this experience, I now understand the importance of competent legal representation. If you find yourself in a similar situation, consider seeking advice from a different attorney or a legal organization that genuinely supports your case and prioritizes your child's well-being.

If you have any Immigration issues, feel like your case isn't moving or going anywhere, or if you think it's too complicated, I highly recommend Atty Rosy Cho. I've acquired a service from a well-known Filipino Immigration Law Firm. I had great consultations with the Partner/Face/Front of the company, and my questions and queries were answered by what I wanted to hear. I decided to acquire their services. I paid the retention fee as agreed. Later found out that my case was assigned to an associate when I called for a follow-up question. I find that interesting since I paid a partner's retention fee. I shrugged it off since I was assured the partner is overseeing my case. That's not why I left their service. After a few months have passed since I acquired the services and filled up the forms, but I have not received any receipts or notifications from USCIS. I decided to pick up the phone request for an update. That's when the paralegal told me I was missing documents that's why it was not filed. That was the last straw. I went searching for another firm through Yelp/Google. That was when I saw Atty Cho's reviews. I was impressed I decided to contact her. Right off the bat, I connected with her and her paralegal. She reviewed my documents and situations and made me sign documents to withdraw my paperwork from the other firm. Not even months I started receiving notifications. So after 4 months of thinking my case involving a infestation of mice & rats(caught 15)was being worked on, I found out that my case was terminated almost immediately after accepting my case because I answered no to one of the criminal background questions that mentioned having any recent criminal activities etc which is true, over 6 years plus is not recent so I guess they don’t trust to represent us because of that I feel it’s discrimination because what does having a criminal record have to do with us needing the help?! It shouldn’t have even taking me reaching out to find this out. Very unprofessional for a law firm & they don’t have your best interest obviously.. like how you can’t sympathize with a family that obviously needs representation & justice from & very inhabitable situation if that’s your job?!

I'm convinced that Ann Riley is the most ethical, competent, and intelligent divorce attorney in the Bay Area.
I interviewed a lot of lawyers and many of them were simply not confident about the law and fairly apathetic. Ann really cares in a way that is helpful. She doesn't waste your time, she is able to be firm when needed, and is extremely logical.
She has a good understanding of the family court system in SF. Opposing counsel was unprofessional and difficult and Ms. Riley refused to engage, knowing that it would cost me more if she did so and that it wouldn't get me any further ahead.
A lot of attorneys like to engage in time wasting activities because they know they can get away with billing you for them - there wasn't a single line item in Ms.Riley's bill that was questionable - she deserved every penny of her retainer.
I wish I had met Ann under different circumstances but I'm really grateful to have met her when I did. She gives me hope that there are still decent and good people who find value in doing the right thing.

We were referred to her for a case involving 3 dogs that were in my care as fosters for a local rescue for well over a year that we wanted to adopt after finding out the rescue wanted to terminate one for being a bully breed and possibly "unadoptable." She started out strong as far as emails go, saying we would have a good case against them and their unrealistic attitudes and demands. She did nothing to help us resolve this case but give the opposing counsel money amounts on what we could do to settle the case without consulting me some of the times. Christine doesn't care about animals. She actually gets mad at you for asking legal questions. I wrote her an email regarding my town's SPCA that commits ongoing animal cruelty. She responded telling me to call her the next day. I did and she said, "Remind me what your emailss was about. Whenever someone writes more than 2 sentences I just have them call me". It sounded like she never even read my email. I explained the animal cruelty at the animal shelter in detail. I thought she'd be shocked to hear that these poor animals were treated so cruelly. Her response was "Umm..hmm..." and interrupted frequently hurrying the conversation.
Then she told, "You want the animal shelter to sue you." Then she told me to look up this website and advised that I provoke the animal shelter to sue so I could get this Whistle Blower organization to represent me for free. WHAT?!
I told her I wanted to know her fees so she could bring a case against the animal shelter. She said, "I have child and I really don't have time." I have to go take care of MY now. MY CHILD needs me. She became very dramatic and angry. As if I was to blame for the fact her website was still up asking for business.
First, how could she be so cold when hearing about systemic animal cruelty? Second, she told me to provoke a lawsuit on myself? What kind of nutty legal advice is that? What kind of lawyer tells someone to go get sued? I made it clear I was willing to pay to bring a case against the animal shelter. Furthermore, she doesn't even care that in the time it would take me to get sued more animals would be subjected to cruelty. Third, why is she acting like I'm the one taking her away from her child? I don't know her. She's the one who told me to call her!
Something is really wrong with this woman. I don't think she's mentally all there.

TRIPLE BEWARE!!! Stay far away from this guy! He did nothing but bs about how fantastic and successful he was at wrongful terminations and sexual discrimination, only to fold at every turn of our suit. He did absolutely nothing but take what little money we had and made us look and feel like fools. If it appears to him he might actually have to work, (We did all our work for him and he would try to charge us for that), he shuts down leaving you to defend yourself from the oncoming lawyers. He is very arrogant, unprofessional and was a BIG BULLY toward us! PLease search harder and find the right person for the job... never Daniel Ray Bacon!!!!!!

BEWARE!!!!
Our family hired Daniel Ray Bacon for a dispute over a trust. It turns out that Bacon does not handle this area of law but took our case boasting about how versed he was. Bacon strings you along, promising that your case is really strong. He bills you for subpoenas, depositions, all the while stating he's gathering "evidence." His depositions clearly show he's grasping for straws and unprepared. His plan from the get-go is to bill, bill, bill and urge you to settle before any trial can occur, because that is where his flawed work as an attorney all comes out. We eventually left Bacon after one year and about $100,000 in legal fees. It was our mistake picking Bacon. After finding a real expert in trust law, we realized that Bacon wasn't even fighting the right battles. There were fundamental errors made by Bacon which showed he was oblivious to trust law. In fact, based on the manner of how he conducts his deposition, I'm flabbergasted that he had enough competence to pass the state BAR.
Bacon is downright incompetent. For example, Bacon assumed that assets in the trust were properly deeded to the trust when all the while, they were left in the name of the trustor. He failed to realize this. Once brought to his attention, he stated that it was not an issue which it turned out to be. Bacon was fighting for a trust that was never properly funded to begin with and never saw this huge problem.
Google Bacon in the California BAR and you will find adverse action was taken on him previously. He was "suspended for one year, stayed, placed on two years of probation with an actual 60-day suspension, and was ordered to take the MPRE within one year." This man is downright dangerous, stay away! He will hurt your pocket book, but worse, he will hurt you while you are involved in a lawsuit. Bacon is best described as the quintessential lawyer that our society loves to hate.

Twice Mr. Bacon has served us very well. First, in my wife's discrimination case, he was able to negotiate a fair settlement in a timely manner. Second, in my wrongful termination case, while up against a gang of vicious lawyers, inept or prejudiced state officials, and a thoroughly biased judicial system, over a three year period
