I have to admit, after nearly 5 years of working with them and still not having my debt paid off, it feels like this process wasn't worth it. I have one remaining debt of $12K, and nearly $9K in my account that needs to be paid off. Yet, every month, it feels like the balance never gets closer to being resolved. At this point, I don’t understand why they can't call the creditor and negotiate directly. It finally dawned on me that the reason might be the high fees they charge. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them again, and I am determined to stay out of debt just to avoid working with them in the future. On top of that, my account password never works, and I never receive the reset email. For a company taking in so much money, having a properly functioning website should be a basic expectation—it's almost laughable.

I definitely appreciate an awesome attorney. Mr. Abrams and his team always answered my text messages, emails, and returned my phone calls. I never felt gaslighted or ignored by anyone. Mr. Abrams took the time to explain everything to me via over the phone or in-person on the process, hold up, or if they had questions of me. I would recommend him to anyone who ask. Thank you Mr. Abrams and Liz (secretary). Appreciate you.

I am incredibly grateful to Mr. Judd Azulay and his team for their exceptional guidance and unwavering support throughout my long journey to obtaining my green card. From the moment I sought their counsel, Mr. Azulay's deep expertise and strategic advice were invaluable. His proactive approach and thorough understanding of immigration law laid a solid foundation for my case. Throughout the process, Mr. Azulay's team, especially Vangie Abron, played a crucial role with her meticulous attention to detail and relentless pursuit of accuracy in every document and application. Her dedication ensured that everything was in order, which was instrumental in achieving a positive outcome. Thanks to their professionalism and commitment, I now hold my green card, marking the end of a challenging yet ultimately successful journey. I cannot recommend Mr. Azulay and his team highly enough for anyone navigating the complexities of immigration law. They truly go above and beyond for their clients.

Do your research before you meet with any lawyer in USA.I made mistake and I didn’t,now this is going to cost me nice amount of money but what is more important you’re going to waste your time which is irretrievable. If you are thin with nerves you can bet you’ll stay without those if you get in any deal with this firm. I came to this office by recommendation of my friend and that’s why I never done any research on them but if you’re reading this today you are on the good path.If you check the reviews you’ll notice majority of them are negative and from my experience I’ll tell that they are true. I’m not ever writing reviews but I had to this one because I won’t be able to sleep if I don’t. I had consultation with MR Ira about my case 3 months ago.Since my case is open for a few years now we had lot of things to talk about. MR Ira looked great and gave impression that he’s decent, all you wish for, attorney. I told him right away that the only problem I had with my previous attorney was that I felt like I’ve been pushed a side from. When you’re paying someone 500$ per hour you don’t want to be forgotten and to remind them you’re still around. Not sure if only I feel this way. He promised that’s not happening with him. I paid him 2800$ for paperwork transfer,he even charged for paper that he’ll use printing those which supposed to be red flag right away but I already wrote I got there by recommendation. The deal was that once he goes through the paperwork for my case he’ll give me a call and we’ll make strategy how we’ll proceed with the case. After 3 months I still hadn’t heard from anyone from this office beside the lady on front desk since she’s answering and attorney there is always busy or whatever. I tried calling several times, left voicemails, sent emails, left messages wit front desk lady. You can guess what happened NOTHING So my advice to you readers. If you have money that you don’t need and you like your time wasted go visit this firm, they are waiting for you. Don’t be naive like I was

I went to Mr. Clinton in distress when I was experiencing some issues at law school. Thankfully, I ended up just transferring to another law school and ultimately did not pursue my issues. I am still writing this review years later because I feel reviews can help people so much when selecting an attorney and my consultation with Mr. Clinton is one that really helped me to find peace. Attorney Clinton came across as a very knowledgeable and helpful person. I have interacted with many attorneys as I am one myself and I can honestly say that very few were as kind as Mr. Clinton. Oftentimes, attorneys can be snippy, but he was not. He is honest about if he can help you or not. At the same time, he remains a very sympathetic person whether he can help you or not. Rest assured, you can tell him your about your possible case and all your problems with no judgment. I also like the types of cases he worked on. I felt they were very noble causes and this was the reason I called him to begin with when I was having the issues I was having.

Nebula is an amazing attorney. I first worked with them while they were at one organization, and they went out of their way to explain to me everything I needed to know - I was scared and in a difficult situation, and they guided me through it. When they left to work at a different organization, I followed them as a client and worked with them again (to complete a different part of my immigration process). I didn't need to at all, since they left me with so many resources, but I wanted to keep Nebula as my lawyer since I felt so much more confident with their expertise to help me and their endless patient to answer any question I had.

Last time I met with them I had several question and they made sure I received an answer to all of them. I walked out of my appointment feeling well informed and optimistic about my case.

I am an immigration attorney who works at a nonprofit, and I have been in a position to hire Nebula Li for various contract and volunteer work on several cases. Nebula has always handled all of their cases with incredible attention to detail, care, and compassion for their clients. I have been able to observe them in client meetings, as well as in interviews with immigration officials. Their work is always of the highest quality, and they provide the best advice and information regarding immigration. I would never hesitate to hire Attorney Li for any immigration needs in the future, and I know that I would be able to do so and not have to worry about the handling of the case because I know it would be handled professionally, skillfully, and with a lot of care. Attorney Li is familiar with all types of immigration cases, especially and including naturalization and other citizenship, DACA, family-based cases, domestic-violence based cases, and others. I consulted Attorney Solomon in behalf of my son, regarding clarification for fiancé visa as opposed to spousal visa. Because, I had received incorrect information/suggestion by prior two lawyers who I had consulted regarding above issue & even paid one lawyer for her 1/2 hour office consultation fee, only to be insulted and she advised my son, who was born and raised in USA to return to his motherland country and live with his spouse. He was also, in turn advised to consult another lawyer from his represented country. Needless, to say, it was very offensive and my son was demoralized after the consultation. Therefore, I consulted Mr. Solomon for quite a while via phone, in behalf of my son. He was very compassionate, very knowledgeable and caring person. Mr. Solomon guided me in the right direction and didn't appear greedy as the prior attorney, who earned her income utilizing a timer for her charges. In addition, my son also followed up consultation with Mr. Solomon and appeared very pleased with his advice and guidance. I would highly recommend this attorney as he seems to be very passionate, knowledgeable and very caring towards his client's welfare without any issues of upfront monetary matters during consultation. I only wish there were more attorneys like him, with a "Big Heart" and act like a "Human Being" as opposed to the prior "mechanical attorney", with unethical manners. I am definitely considering utilization this attorney in the near future and would certainly recommend others utilize him as well.

Paul and I have collaborated on many transactions throughout the years. In each case that we have had the opportunity to work together, I have found Paul to be incredibly knowledgeable and very responsive. Paul has a deep understanding of real estate law and knows how to protect his clients in a very practical sense, particularly in complex transactions, especially in regards to delinquent property taxes. I retained Paul for two commercial property purchases specifically to assist me, given by my own inexperience in this area. I have learned that in these transactions there is not much room for improvement in the T&C's, after the initial negotiations have transpired. It would be best if the buyer's attorney focused on saving dollars and heartaches for their client, rather than focusing on areas of the contract that are not as relevant to the transpiring of a smooth transaction. An e.g. would be to ensure that the buyer is fully aware of the property tax situation, for the portion of the purchase year, when the buyer did not own the property. In NNN leases, since the tenant reimburses the landlord, accrued property tax is not withheld on the closing statement. The property tax bill goes to the old owner (owners address in the county records does not get updated for a long time) and the old owner generally does not bother to forward it to the new owner. If you are new to commercial transactions, as the new owner you do not expect to be liable for property tax accrued prior to your ownership (especially if nobody informs you). This can results in penalties, fines, and even result in your tax debt being sold.

I hired him as my immigraiton lawyer because my parents petitioned me to the US as a K2 Derivative. I attended my first Court hearing on 2014. Then he asked me to pay $2,000 for "greencard fees" and 2 years NOTHING! I kept calling for any updates! They say not to worry! My father died on 2018. This lawyer does not know what he is doing! He kept asking me $500-750 for every court hearing and everytime the JUDGE will say he didn't send this to this office blahblah! and sometimes it's not complete!!!!!! We keep filling I-751 3-4 times!!!!! waste of money. My last hearing (MASTER calendar) was 2020 the Judge and the USCIS representative said They don't have my FILES!!!!! the closed my case! ang AGAIN he wanted me to file I-751! ughhhhh. I called USCIS and asked for their help they told me since my father passed away the marriage was dissolved and my husband should continue for the petition of relative file for HUMANITARIAN REINSTATEMENT. I will not use his SERVICES again. PLEASE call USCIS for help or ask their advice first. This lawyer is a scammer!

Overall not a good experience. Was attempting to file chapter 7 bankruptcy and submitted all required paperwork in October. A month later I still have no updates. I wish to tell, as briefly as possible, my story about the way Mr. Donald Garner helped me acquire my United States citizenship. Many ears ago I came to the US on a J-1 visa (cultural exchange) and met my future and present husband. We married while I was on J-1 and soon after graduation I went back to my country to discharge the two-year home country duty. Upon my return, I initiated an application for the US residency based on a marriage to a US citizen. And this is when my troubles began. My papers had been lost twice in the US Immigration and Naturalization Service, INS (as it was called then). Any time that happened I had to go back in line and wait as if applying for the first time. It took about 5 years to become permanent resident. Then, I applied for the US citizenship and that process took a number of years. I hoped, that my daughter from my previous marriage who lived with us in the US will become a US citizen based on my citizenship. It had to happen, though, before her 18th birthday. When I began applying for my legal status she was 11. By the time my citizenship application slowly moved though the INS offices she was getting close to 18! Do the math yourselves… Then I approached Don Garner, a young lawyer out of University of Illinois College of Law. He immediately took the matters in his hands, got in touch with INS officers and expedited the interview at the INS in Chicago. Soon after, my citizenship was granted. But then, the issue of taking an oath in front of a US judge had to be addressed, too. The next naturalization oath ceremony was going to be called in three or four months. By then my daughter was going to turn 18 and be disqualified from gaining a citizenship as an underage child of a citizen. Again, Mr. Garner stepped in and intervened directly reaching to the federal judge's office, advocating on my behalf and arranging a private ceremony for me. After the naturalization ceremony he continued working on getting my daughter's legal papers in order, which was part of the process and could also go on for months. So, she celebrated her 18th birthday as a new US citizen only thanks to Don Garner's swift and decisive actions in discharging his legal duties. He showed himself to be a well-qualified, responsible and caring immigration attorney. Thank you, Don Garner!

Don was our Immigration lawyer for more than 15 years. He helped my husband and I to process our Green cards and then -when we have waited the required time to get our Citizenship, we started the process with his help. For people who have no idea as to how long it takes to become a US Citizen -fifteen years may seem not much, but it is! We were very pleased with Don's services as he always followed up with everything whether if it was a phone call or an email. Don was always very attentive. We're glad we hired him as he was very understanding of our process needs and requirements. We are now two proud US citizens. Thank you Don! Maribel

Wasted two years with him. Don Garner and his assistant Karen Davalle are who I hired to assist in getting my wife into the USA. Told me to provide a truck load of documents. Eighteen months later he said he never received it. I proved to him he did and then told me that the application has completely changed. Then told me he got sick and would pass my case on to other lawyers. Then he couldn't find any lawyers and he would do it himself. I had been receiving an email for three months saying he had only five more hours to work on the application. I pressed him to finish the application and I received an email with him resigning three weeks later. He mailed back the submitted paperwork and refunded the deposit. No partial application or any indication that any work that was done was returned to me. It's as if he pretended to be a lawyer.

All because, of an earlier failed attempt, thanks to an Arizona based Immigration Lawyer and his foreign (Indian Cahoot) half-baked lawyer who had completely botched up my petition when I arrived in the US in Summer of 2008 on Visitors Visa , I was a dejected and a failed man. Armed with a solid reference I walk into Ira's office with my earlier rejected/refused foreign immigrant-workers petition in absolutely hopeless situation only to walk out of his office a couple of hours later feeling completely charged up and with more than just glimmer of hope. It has been three years since and thanks to Ira and his team of professionals , I am on the threshold of getting the proverbial Green Card. His team of professional legals and para-legals made this entire task a breeze. They are completely committed to delivering positive results and fully motivated in helping you every turn of the way. Unlike, most Attorneys who slip some charges unnoticed into your invoice the Azulay Seiden Law Group is very transparent in their dealings and you can pre negotiate an agreed upon bulk amount for your entire case. I will use them again and again and again whenever required and I highly, recommend them to anyone who has been bitten stung by their earlier negative experiences by some other operatives.

They don’t respond they are terrible it’s truly sad they are out here making your life harder and not easier. I’ve been calling and emailing nonstop since November no call back no email. NOTHING. They moved the office and didn’t even tell me I had to call the trustee to get an address on them. I’m literally sitting here crying because I’m tired of being on the bus with my 3 small children! They won’t return anything to help me get a car or anything! At this point I’m about to report them to EVERYONE I can until I’m done dealing with these low down lying unprofessional people! They played with the right one😃

I hired this firm some time ago for a child visitation case and was thoroughly disappointed. The case went on for apx 18 months and all I got out of it was lighter pockets. I spent close to $10,000 including flights, appearances bogus fees, and three different attorneys the firm appointed and ended up with NOTHING!!!! I PERSONALLY do not recommend this attorney or his firm. Save your money and if forced to go with this firm, represent yourself!

I had the opportunity to hire Matthew Katz and his team a few years back. I went to meet with him at his office with a legal matter that I was not sure how to handle. Turned out that Matthew not only provided me with peace of mind in the short term but also found an answer to my legal situation. After reviewing the terms and conditions to hire his firm, I felt comfortable working with him and his team so I hired them. I ended up with a great outcome as Katz Law provided me with great counsel that allowed me to resolve my legal matter in a very efficient way. Kuddos to Matthew and his team for providing exceptional customer experience and for doing everything in their power to ensure positive results!!! If you are in need of a lawyer who truly cares about their clients, go and see Matt!

After many years of trying to resolve a complicated legal matter on our own, we decided to call Katz Law office. Without their help and dedicated thorough service, we would not have the peace of mind we have today. Katz Law represented us and in the end our expected outcome was surpassed. The fees we payed were very reasonable given the complete service and successful resolution of our case. Katz Law office, we appreciate your service! Jose and Alejandrina

I will start off by saying that I chose this lawyer because I thought he was trustworthy since he helped someone I know get their green card. The initial consultation went well and he said I was good to go with the process. This was in July of 2019 that I signed the contract with him. They took months to send the first application which a friend of mine who is a paralegal said those applications do not take that long to prepare. Immigration approved the application about 4 months after they sent it last year in 2020. After that the next part of the process was next, the I601A application which they kept telling me was almost ready for like 7 months even took the NVC fee and it turns out the paralegal that was preparing my application didn’t work there anymore so my application wasn’t even finished after like 7-8 months. In February of 2021 he said he finally sent it and had me zelle him the $715 fee for the application. I have yet to receive the receipt & I called the USCIS to check what’s going on & they said they could not find anything in the system but that my lawyer should have a tracking number for the application so my wife called his office and they said they did not have a tracking number for it which is super sketchy. Though immigration is taking longer to send out receipts it’s been almost 90 days since he supposedly sent it and I’ve heard that’s way too long. At this point I’ve lost all credibility on him and highly doubt he sent my application. Took my $8,000 and now I’m left in limbo almost 2 years after starting the whole process .

I'll start the review off by saying that with all of the hassles that he put my wife and I through, the final immigration decision ended on a positive note (Green Card received) and that's the only reason I'm giving him 2 stars. With that being said, his general unprofessional behavior is what prompted me to write this review. I've outlined a few instances below: 1. Late 30 minutes during the initial consultation 2. Never informed us of paralegal's departure in the middle of our case (our main point of contact) 3. Verbally abused via email (He accidentally included me on an email to the Law firm that contracted his services and "bad-mouthed" me) 4. Green card application incomplete - His firm omitted crucial evidence that supported my marriage (pictures and a lease). 5. Unprepared during final green card interview - When getting probed by the Visa official, he indicated that I was a student (which I was not). This led to further confusion that I had to address with the Visa official. I have more examples of his poor handling of my case, but based on the money that was spent to retain his services I would not recommend Jesus. I am happy to provide more context to anyone who needs it along with proof, so please don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks

I was referred to Maria via a different lawyer regarding a complicated situation regarding immigration. I have never worked with a lawyer before so I had no clue what to expect. Maria and her secretary Lupe were a god send. They went above and beyond to help my wife and I. They answered every phone call, and returned every phone call. I cannot recommend Maria enough.

One of the worst human beings I have ever met. Please avoid his services at all costs! He will charge you an arm and leg but will do absolutely nothing on your case. We paid him close to $3,000 to type up information we gave him and send it MONTHS after it was supposed to be turned in. He would never answer any emails to keep us posted on the progress of our case and only decided to schedule a meeting once I told him I was going to report him to the bar. He changed his tune really quickly after that. After our meeting, and after warning us that we would not get any of our money back if we went with someone else's services (this was my mistake for paying him the total amount up front), we decided the only thing to do was to give him another try. Fast forward to another few of months of inactivity, my new lawyer had to warn him (AGAIN) about reporting him to the bar association before he sent material I had been asking him for months.AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

What an Immigration Lawyer Can Do for You

An immigration lawyer specializes in helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the complex immigration process. These lawyers provide legal guidance on various immigration matters, such as obtaining visas, gaining permanent residency (green cards), applying for citizenship, and defending clients in deportation or removal proceedings. Immigration lawyers also assist with employment-based immigration, asylum applications, and resolving issues related to visas or immigration status.

Whether you're trying to immigrate to the U.S., facing deportation, or sponsoring an employee or family member for a visa, an immigration lawyer can help you understand your legal options and navigate the often complicated legal system.

When Should I Hire an Immigration Lawyer?

Hiring an immigration lawyer is beneficial in many situations where you are dealing with U.S. immigration laws, whether for personal or business reasons. Common reasons to hire an immigration lawyer include:

  • Visa applications: If you need assistance applying for a visa, whether it's a work visa (H-1B), student visa (F-1), or tourist visa (B-1/B-2), a lawyer can help ensure the application is properly completed and submitted.
  • Green card applications: If you're seeking permanent residency, an immigration lawyer can guide you through the process, whether through family sponsorship, employment, or the Diversity Visa (lottery) program.
  • Deportation or removal defense: If you’re facing deportation or removal from the U.S., a lawyer can defend your case in immigration court and seek to prevent removal.
  • Asylum applications: If you’re seeking asylum due to persecution or fear of persecution in your home country, a lawyer can help you prepare a strong case and file for asylum.
  • Family reunification: If you're a U.S. citizen or permanent resident looking to bring family members to the U.S., a lawyer can assist with the family sponsorship process.
  • Citizenship and naturalization: If you're ready to apply for U.S. citizenship, a lawyer can help you navigate the naturalization process and ensure you meet all the requirements.
  • Business immigration: If you're an employer seeking to hire foreign workers, a lawyer can assist with employment-based visas, labor certification, and compliance with immigration regulations.
  • Special immigration categories: Immigration lawyers also handle complex cases, such as visas for victims of human trafficking (T visa), crime victims (U visa), or those seeking Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

Hiring an immigration lawyer early in the process can help you avoid delays, errors, and possible denials due to incomplete or incorrect applications.

What Does an Immigration Lawyer Do?

An immigration lawyer provides a wide range of services to help clients with their immigration needs, whether personal or business-related. Their tasks often include:

  • Assisting with visa applications: Helping clients fill out and submit visa applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Filing for green cards and permanent residency: Guiding clients through the process of applying for a green card, including family-based, employment-based, or other forms of residency.
  • Defending against deportation or removal: Representing clients in immigration court who are facing deportation and working to prevent removal from the U.S.
  • Preparing asylum cases: Assisting clients in applying for asylum based on fear of persecution in their home country due to race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group.
  • Handling citizenship applications: Helping lawful permanent residents apply for naturalization and ensuring they meet all the legal requirements for U.S. citizenship.
  • Employment-based immigration: Assisting employers with the process of sponsoring foreign workers for temporary or permanent visas, including H-1B, L-1, and EB-1 through EB-5 visas.
  • Representation in immigration interviews: Preparing clients for immigration interviews and attending interviews at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices.
  • Appealing denied applications: If a visa, green card, or citizenship application is denied, a lawyer can file appeals or motions to reopen or reconsider the case.

How Are Immigration Lawyers Paid?

Immigration lawyers generally charge for their services based on the type of immigration case and the complexity of the legal work involved. Common payment structures include:

  • Flat fee: Many immigration lawyers charge a flat fee for specific services, such as preparing a visa application, green card petition, or citizenship application. Flat fees help clients know upfront what the legal costs will be for a particular service.
  • Hourly rate: For more complex cases, such as deportation defense or appeals, some lawyers charge by the hour. Hourly rates vary depending on the lawyer's experience and the complexity of the case.
  • Retainer: For ongoing immigration matters, some clients may need to pay a retainer, which is an upfront payment billed against as the lawyer works on the case.
  • Pro bono or sliding scale: Some immigration lawyers or nonprofit organizations may offer free or low-cost services for clients with limited financial means, particularly in asylum or humanitarian cases.

It’s essential to discuss the fee structure with your lawyer during the initial consultation to understand the costs and payment arrangements.

How Much Does an Immigration Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring an immigration lawyer varies based on the type of legal service required, the lawyer's experience, and the complexity of the case. General cost estimates include:

  • Visa applications: For help with visa applications (e.g., H-1B, L-1, F-1), legal fees may range from $2,000 to $7,500, depending on the complexity and the type of visa.
  • Green card applications: Fees for family-based or employment-based green card applications typically range from $3,000 to $10,000, depending on the case.
  • Deportation defense: For defending clients in removal proceedings, costs can range from $5,000 to $15,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the case and how long the case takes.
  • Asylum cases: Asylum applications may range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on whether the case is defensive (in removal proceedings) or affirmative (not in removal proceedings).
  • Citizenship applications: Legal fees for filing a naturalization application usually range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the complexity of the client’s immigration history.
  • Business immigration services: Fees for assisting businesses with employment-based visas (such as H-1B or EB-5 visas) often range from $3,000 to $10,000 or more.

Always ask for a clear breakdown of costs and fee arrangements before proceeding with legal services.

Top Questions to Ask an Immigration Lawyer

Before hiring an immigration lawyer, it's essential to ask questions to ensure they have the experience and expertise to handle your case effectively. Important questions to ask include:

  1. What experience do you have with immigration cases like mine?
Ensure the lawyer has experience handling cases similar to yours, whether it’s family-based immigration, employment visas, or asylum.
  2. How do you charge for your services?
Clarify whether the lawyer charges a flat fee, hourly rate, or retainer, and ask for a detailed estimate of the total cost.
  3. What is the likelihood of success in my case?
Ask for an honest assessment of your case and the potential outcomes, including any challenges you might face.
  4. How long will the process take?
Immigration cases can take time, so ask how long it may take to process your application or resolve your legal issue.
  5. Will you handle my case personally?
In larger firms, junior attorneys or paralegals may handle parts of your case. Make sure you know who will be working on your case directly.
  6. What documents do I need to provide?
Ask the lawyer about the documentation required to support your case, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, or employment contracts.

How to Check the Credibility of an Immigration Lawyer

To ensure you are hiring a reputable immigration lawyer, take the following steps to verify their credentials and track record:

  • Check their state bar status: Confirm with your state bar association that the lawyer is licensed to practice and has no disciplinary actions against them.
  • Look for specific immigration law experience: Review the lawyer’s website or professional profile to ensure they specialize in immigration law and have experience handling cases like yours.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for reviews on platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to see what previous clients have said about the lawyer’s professionalism and success rate.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their ability to handle immigration cases.
  • Check for industry affiliations: Membership in organizations like the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) can indicate the lawyer’s expertise and commitment to immigration law.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most out of your first consultation with an immigration lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant documents and information. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Passport and immigration documents: Bring your passport, visa, and any documents related to your current immigration status.
  • Family documents: If you're applying for a family-based visa or green card, bring marriage certificates, birth certificates, and proof of family relationships.
  • Employment information: For employment-based visas, provide your employment contract, offer letter, or other documentation of your job.
  • Criminal records (if applicable): If you have any criminal history, bring copies of court records and other relevant documents.
  • Timeline of events: Provide a clear timeline of any prior immigration applications, visas, or issues with immigration authorities.
  • List of questions: Prepare any questions you have about your immigration case, the process, costs, and the likelihood of success.

By preparing thoroughly for your consultation, you can help the lawyer understand your case more effectively and get the best possible legal advice on how to proceed.
