Layli Eskandari was a terrific lawyer. She helped me obtained a J1 waiver as a fulbright scholar. These are very difficult cases. Layli guided us through all the paper work in a very organized way. I showed up in court in a wheelchair back in early February of 2020. I had been going back and forth with the roofing company that put a lien on my home after they failed to uphold the commitments made in our contract. I suffered multiple strokes in those two years, and I could barely catch my breath long enough to argue my case effectively that day in court. While exiting the courtroom Attorney Gibson handed me her card and told me to give her a call. From the moment she handed me that card Attorney Gibson completely took over and handled the situation for me. I never had to lift a finger because she took care of it all. My husband and I ran into some very difficult legal complications 1 week before our adopted-baby-to-be was born due to our status as Canadians living in the US on work visas. Although we had satisfied all the requirements to adopt, we were notified at the last minute that due to recent changes in adoption law, our adoption would be considered international (despite living in California since 2016 and purchasing a home a week before this took place). The agency handling our adoption told us they could no longer help us and recommended finding an international adoption lawyer.
Along came Irene, who right from the start was reassuring, friendly, and professional. Irene took up our cause and reached out to the agency that dropped us and convinced them to have their legal team collaborate with her to create a case for the courts that argued in our favor. Irene is someone you want in your corner because she has a lot of friends in high places, many of whom she contacted in order to streamline our case. After working with Irene for just 3 weeks, and only 2 weeks after the birth of our son, we were able to take him home with us to California.

My husband and I, in a very round about way, found ourselves embarking on a journey adoption from Sint Maarten, a country with no current path to adoption. We found out mid way through we needed to work through a Hague approved attorney or agency. There were no agencies working in Sint Maarten so we immediately started looking for an attorney. We are SO happy we were able to find Irene and her team. Irene was VERY frank from the get go. She didn't sugarcoat anything which we appreciated so much. We had been told this and that and were given false hope a lot throughout this process and were very discouraged, so to have someone so open and honest about the hurdles we would need to get through was so refreshing. Irene was able to outline all of the steps her team would take to see this through. She was open with the fact that it wasn't a sure deal, but that they would take steps to analyze the entire situation before moving us forward and would do anything in their power to help us adopt these boys. They have taken point on some of the paperwork and processes that were bogging us down and causing a lot of frustration, she and her team clearly know how to navigate the adoption legal system. They've always kept in tight communication throughout the entire process. I hired this law firm to migrate to the United States throw marriage, in less than three months my conditional green card was approved.
Three years later I rehired this firm to remove the condition and get a 10 year green card which with Mr. New’s help the process went very smoothly and I got the green card with no condition. Both times I hired Mr. New, he would constantly updated me with each step, so I never felt the need to contact him for any updates. He is also very fair and affordable each time I hired him. We contacted Schwartz Posel Immigration for a J1, 2 year home return rule waiver. We were assigned to the attorney Rachel S. Binstock. She quickly identified the extreme hardship as our basis and we proceeded forward. In matter of weeks she has prepared a very strong case and sent it to USCIS. Mrs. Hanea helped me resolve an issue regarding my son's birth certificate. Because of an error on it, the passport agency responsible for renewing passports refused to let me renew his expired passport. I hired Mrs. Hanea (for the third time, she represented me with an immigration case, and a bankrupty case, both with great results) to see what my options were. She promised a good result, and that is what I got. She was able to research the literature behind the family laws in the state of GA, and provided real life cases of similar cases to mine. With all that information she came up with, we took it and sent it to the passport agency, hoping that it was enough to be able to renew it. Sure enough, it was exactly what they needed and we obtained our wanted results. A renewed passport! Without Mrs. Hanea, our chances were slim to be able to get it. I hired Mr. Thames for a serious traffic charge (DUI). While handling this case another unfortunate event lead to another traffic charge (Driving without a valid license). Both charges could have effected my employment greatly. Mr. Thames helped me immensely on a professional and personal level. He made sure everything dealing with the court was handled although I was out of state and lead me through the court process so I would understand everything that was going on. In the end one charge was reduced drastically to a small fine, the other charge was dropped and my arrest records were restricted. I retained Ms. Fakiha Khans legal services earlier this year. My sister was going through a very difficult divorce with her ex who was extremely conniving and abusive during the marriage. We had changed several attorneys , and the case had still not been finalized in 3 years! We hired Olivia to help us get a TN visa. Olivia really spent a lot of time helping us. I texted her at 11:00 pm on a Wednesday and she replied right away. Please do not do this to her though. When we were being questioned by the customs and immigration officer he said our immigration lawyer really knows her stuff. I am here to Thank Elizabeth Matherne for her exceptional knowledge and commitment she demonstrated in handling my case. To give a little background about the case, i was dealing with ICE who were proclaiming me as illegal resident even though i had a valid stay in US with extension which was in process, however, my i94 was still showing expiration as per my entry 5 years back. ICE was going by i94 records and I was under deportation charges but agree to wait to see response from USCIS on my extension. After i got my extension approval notice i reached out to Elizabeth to help me to drop my case ASAP and get back my bail amount. This Attorney was great! My case did not necessarily turn out the way I wanted but that certainly did not negate the incredible service I received from this attorney.
