I cannot thank MLG enough for their exceptional support during my O1A visa process. I reached out to them under a tight deadline, and while most other lawyers I consulted doubted it was possible to meet it, Rakhel at MLG assured me they would do their best. I had been seeking advice from Rakhel for nearly six months before officially engaging their services, so I felt confident that she would truly put in her best effort. I remember telling her after the first call (where she assesses if your profile is ready or not) that I felt a lot more confident going into the process than I did before.
Once we began, I worked closely with Anda on Rakhel’s team, and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive lawyer! Anda and I communicated daily for two months as she diligently worked on my case. I can’t speak highly enough of her. She was incredibly thorough, clear, polite, and encouraging, all while being remarkably efficient. Every email I sent during that time received a prompt and detailed response from Anda, which provided me with much-needed motivation during such a stressful period—O1A applications are no easy task!
When the final case was ready, I was genuinely impressed. The evidence I had provided was presented with such a compelling narrative. I hired Rakhel and her team to get a 01 Visa in Spring 2021. It was still very complex to get a working visa approved. Rakhel and Ryan did miracles, guiding me through every step of this challenging process. They answered e-mails extremely fast (with clear answers and directions within one or two hours, no more). It was not an easy way as we got a first RFE and had to change strategy at some point, but my O1 application was approved in only three months of hard work! I felt very supported from start to finish. I feel fortunate to have hired Rakhel and knew I could rely on her and her team in total confidence. I was very stressed by timing as I started the process late, but she took the challenge to make it happen in the short time we had. She was very empathetic with me and could even manage my (very) high-stress level. I am very grateful for what she did for my family and me and loved how she supported me to reach my goal. I will not hesitate to work with her in the future again. I really believe she can make your dream come true as she did for me -with Ryan who was such a patient and kind person with me in this difficult process.

My experience with Shapiro Legal Group PLLC WAS GREAT. I must say the representative that called me was very nice and he made me feel comfortable with the whole process and explained in detail how everything went from here. There's no amount of money that could buy out the suffering with headache's and everything else that goes along with the tumor, but the people (same people who made some COVID injections) (Pfizer) let millions of women get the Depo- Provera shot for over a decade while neglecting to label the side affect that it could cause brain tumors. At least they could do is compensate/ Settle out of court with us women who did develop a brain tumor due to their negligence

Long overdue review! Mehdi is truly an amazing lawyer who cares. I had a complicated family court case while simultaneously an ongoing criminal case with my abusive ex. I was in postpartum and it was the beginning of separation. I was very hyper vigilant and probably not the easiest to deal with, but Mehdi fully supported me through both cases. He took my life chaos with stride. He always fought hard for me in the court room. He even advocated for me to the ADA in the separate criminal case pushing the case further than it would have without him. I sometimes had to remember he was my lawyer and not my therapist! He gave me so much advice and honestly strength. Sharing a child with an abuser is no fun. We did get everything we asked for in Family Court which was such a relief. It wouldn’t have happened with any other lawyer, only Mehdi. I truly believe that. After Family Court ended he contacted me to check in and show support. He has worked with many women who have experienced DV so he gets it. Hopefully we don’t end up back in Family Court, but if we do He’s our GoTO… If he will have us again. Ha. Ha. We love you Mehdi!

Court outcome has been postponed for 5 years in a row and it finally got dismissed. Miss Ortiz and the whole firm are just specialist in TVB matters. My experience with Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik, PLLC was breathtaking. I was run over by a car in Harlem while crossing a crosswalk with the right of way. The guy driving was 100% at fault. The state bar of NY enthusiastically recommend I set up a consultation with them. So I had a 5 minute call with his paralegal, Joanne O’Connell, it was nice. She wanted me to send my neurologist medical records to review and the detailed police report. Made it happen. Then, all communication ceased. No email was replied to thereafter. The only reason I can come up with is that Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik genuinely believe there is no merit in finding justice for pedestrians who wrongfully get run over by a car in the state of New York left with long-term injuries.
So I found an actual attorney who got to work, now everything is good.
This concludes my final thoughts on KD&R for now. I’m extremely honored to have been in Joanne’s presence. She and KD&R are extraordinary human beings - but has no follow through and all that talk lead to nothing.

After I tripped on an uneven sidewalk on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, my neighbor, a longstanding friend, introduced me to attorney Jonathan Ratchik who took my case on as he and the doctors deemed my left foot was severely injured.
The landlord had failed to properly maintain the sidewalk in front of the brownstone he owned, posing a clear and present danger to pedestrians.
Mr. Ratchik knows his law. He is patient and thorough. He guided me well, coached me thoroughly on the procedures, and allowed me to make decisions about medical treatment and the course of our legal action which took nearly three years when the landlord’s insurance company offered a fair settlement which we accepted.

In the fall of 2015, I suffered a crush injury on a construction site in NYC. I was taken on by what is considered one of the top law firms in the North East. 6 months into my case, they dropped me citing the difficulty in winning my case. The Perecman Firm looked over my case and eagerly took it on. From day 1 they coordinated all of my case needs. All of my follow up doctor visits and Independent Medical Examiner appointments were over seen and documented by their group of experts. Ed Guldi walked my case through the red tape of NYS Workers Comp and Silvana Leone navigated me through the incredibly arduous path of obtaining SSDI like she wrote the code! Every T was crossed and every I was dotted!
As for case itself, Steven Dorfman nailed it… not only did he win, his filings and oral arguments resulted in the case receiving summary judgement and I never stepped foot in a courtroom! His work was so convincing and thorough that he left opposing council no alternative than to settle and he over-performed again negotiating a settlement beyond my wildest expectations!

This has to be one of the absolute worst firms in the entire city. My mother was hit by a car and in a case that should have taken months to resolve had taken over two years to settle. The communication from them was non existent, and representation was atrocious. I implore anyone who cares for their family members to look for different services than this firm. Please heed this warning as it will save you time, money and actual representation. They charged my mother 33% for absolutely nothing. No follow up, no guidance absolutely nothing. You’d have better chances representing yourself. Good luck to anyone of you who decide to deal with this horrible law firm.

Earlier in the year I had been laid off from my job and I had been on a work visa. My life was going well I’d been in a stable relationship with my girlfriend at the time. We saw layoffs hit my company earlier and thought that we didnt want to be separated.
The worse scenario came true and I was laid off after the first wave. I was distraught trying everything to stay together and we decided we wanted to be together and so we got married. We consulted Angela after many recommendations. We had a lot of meetings at the start, many of the meetings my wife and I went into with plenty anxiety, but Angela would always be calming and explaining various aspects of the immigration process with brevity, sympathy and a genuine interest in helping us.
She explained the various processes and requirements when applying for our i-485, i-765, i-130 and had great advice. She calmed a lot of our anxiety and made it a smooth process.
We sent all our available evidence, affidavits and information once we were ready to her office in New York (we’re in California), she received and processed them real quick. Within a couple of months since our first consultation our application was sent (she also encouraged us to take our time and feel ready prior to all this so it was much appreciated).
Relatively not too long after we received my green card 3 months in, my wife and I were ecstatic and now I get to stay here with her and many of the other people I've made a connection with.
Angela was just as enthusiastic in helping and seeing us through until the receipt of the card. Prior to this we had worked with some of my ex employers immigration lawyers who were nice and good, however Angela has raised my bar for a lawyer.
