This review is not for the lawyer but for her Assistants my case started a year ago and it has complete STRESS with her Assistants you call and leave messages and they don't call you back to get anything done and when you do they rush you off the phone are always answered by a call center never by someone who works there. I wouldn't recommend this lawyer the stress is not worth itneither is the 2000 she charges to have to deal with does unprofessional Assistants.

Worst experience ever. The lawyer Suneeta assigned to my case left their office and they kept me on hold without knowing exactly what to do until I found another lawyer - no need to say that they never reimbursed me the fee that I paid and didn’t show any intention to do so -. Once, when I asked Suneeta questions about my case and told her what I had read in the USCIS website, she visibly didn’t know how to answer and felt uncomfortable, once I left her office I assume she checked online - I should say that my question was not rocket science and she, as an experienced lawyer, should know what to answer- came after me and just said that I was right.
In my case, my husband passed, I had to add to the grieving and sorrow to deal with their lack of knowledge of how to transfer a case from being married to an American citizen to process the case as a widower of an American citizen. Instead of lightning my burden they made everything more complicated incurring in a waste of time and money.
If I were you I wouldn’t put my case in her hands, there are many good immigration lawyers in this city and an immigration process is a big deal.

Lucy has been my immigration attorney over the last seven years, during which time she helped my apply for and extend my H-1B work visa for six years and then successfully petition for and receive my employment-based green card. I partnered with Merrill Cohen in July 2023 in the hopes of submitting an EB-1A self-petition green card application. Merrill assessed my case, highlighting its potential while candidly addressing areas requiring bolstering. It took me several months to secure additional examples to support my case, and in December 2023, Merrill and her associate, Tanya, began crafting my case.
Navigating the USCIS Premium Processing fee hikes in February 2024 was a challenge, but Merrill and Tanya managed the added time pressure, and were extremely responsive throughout the process. The meticulousness with which Merrill and Tanya laid out my case left no doubt in my mind that we had presented the strongest possible case.
My EB-1A self-petition case was submitted on February 26th 2024 and was approved with no RFE just a week later, on March 4th 2024. Merrill and Tanya also oversaw my I-485 Adjustment of Status, I-765 Employment Authorization and I-131 Travel Document applications, and were diligent about submitting before additional USCIS fee increases in April 2024, further showcasing their commitment to their clients.
When it comes to immigration matters, nothing is guaranteed. Partnering with Merrill and Tanya provided the best chance of success. It is ultimately the responsibility of the individual to take their advice and collaborate with them to present the case in the most compelling manner to a USCIS adjudicator. I look forward to working with Merrill and her team when the time comes to naturalize as a US citizen.

Merrill successfully obtained an E3 Visa for me when I began my career in the U.S. She then successfully navigated me through the steps and obtained for me, an E37 Green Card and I am now a permanent resident!!!
This was no easy task, as it required matching my skillset to the position, extensive advice, working with my employer to obtain the necessary documents, and giving me a clear pathway to a green card.

Not only do I respect Ms. Rao on a professional level, I respect her on a personal level as well. She was given our case from another attorney and at first I was concerned, but her compassion and professionalism assured me she would get the job done. It is apparent that Ms. Rao is passionate about what she does and it shows in her speediness to respond to emails and returning phone calls. She does not make you wait a week for a response, most of her responses were within 24-48 hours. Whenever we spoke, she made me feel like I was just as important as any other case she was working on. She was never short during our phone conversations and always followed up when I needed to gather information for our case. Ms. Rao is the prime example of what a lawyer should be. I do not believe that lawyers need to be "cold" in order to gain respect or feel superior to their clients or peers. Ms. Rao will be straightforward and very honest with you. Although it might not be exactly what you want to hear, she is realistic and informs you of every possible outcome....the good, the bad and the ugly. If you want the job done, seek her help. The best decision I made was hiring Cannon Kearney to represent my fiance with his child support case. Every attorneys office I called prior to him wanted a consultation fee without even hearing the situation or our needs. I feel compelled to warn others about this law firm after my terrible experience following a car accident. My advice? NEVER HIRE TV LAWYERS!
These attorneys are primarily focused on settling cases, and I had to fight with my own attorneys just to get a marginally better settlement. Communication was attrocious; it often took days for anyone to respond. When they did, it was clear they weren't paying attention—duplicated emails were common, showing a complete lack of professionalism.
The worst part? When we finally received our settlement, they couldn't even bother to meet my mom in person to thank her for choosing them. Instead, one of the attorneys coldly handed us our check after years of silence. On top of that, they hit us with unexpected charges for things like certified letters. It’s shameful.
This firm is more concerned with their image and commercials than actually helping clients. If you're looking for competent legal representation, do yourself a favor and find a private personal injury attorney who will truly fight for you. My experience here was a complete letdown, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

Absolutely HORRID / UNPROFESSIONAL experience with Brandon. He had left me a voice message to return his call as they had received my contact info from another firm which I submitted to an inquiry to for a legal case online. I returned Brandon's phone call the very next morning and he began berating me on the phone as to why I didn't answer his call when he called and why I didn't call him back right away. I said are you serious right now? It was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have ever had with a company in which I was a potential client for in my life. He kept going on that I didn't answer his phone call and I didn't call him back right away. This "lawyer" is unhinged and off his rocker thinking he can treat / speak to people in this manner.
I returned the call the next morning well before what is customary in business of 24 hours, even so, I AM THE POTENTIAL CLIENT!! He then questioned me demanding an answer as to why I didn't pick up his call or return his call the second he called. IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHY I DIDN'T ANSWER AN UNKNOWN PHONE NUMBER OR WHY I RETURNED YOUR VOICE MESSAGE THE NEXT BUSINESS MORNING!!! I was dealing with my stomach disease being in bed all afternoon in excruciating pain after leaving my job. THAT IS WHY I DIDN'T ANSWER ANYONE'S CALL YESTERDAY AFTERNOON YOU INCONSIDERATE (I want to write an explicative term but I am more professional than that). ESPECIALLY AN UNKNOWN NUMBER!!!
I was dumbstruck in shock of this actually happening. If you can imagine being questioned by a stalker ex-girlfriend / boyfriend, this was it.
If I yelled at my customers in my own profession for not immediately answering my calls or calling me back immediately, not only would I have no customers, I would be out of my profession! I then said well I don't want to work with your office if this is how you treat clients and before I could finish my sentence he hung up on me.
How dare you speak to me like that berating me when I am the one has been dealing with traumatic event in my life which has caused a cascade effect in my overall health. This is one of the most preposterous situations I have ever encountered. This office is terrible for allowing this type of culture in their company. Stay away from this place. There are endless law firms out there. Just google another one so you don't have to experience this insanity.

We hired this lawyer and he before that we paid him , he was friendly and then that we hired him and give him the first pay he began very very rude .... And he always was saying that he can't advance without money, when we gave him the second and last pay. He never again do nothing 1 year and he never did nothing. And at the end of the day he wants to close the case . He just got the money and never did nothing. Really really disappointed. I got my 3 children and I got lend money looking for something and now I'm still paying my debt and he never did nothing.
