There is one thing I look for in an attorney: I need the information given to me straight and right to the point. I don't like to be given false hope. I want realistic expectations and honest answers. I got all that from Ms. Hellmer and more. The case was handled better than I could have ever expected.

First of all, I’d like to thank Aaron for representing me and the great job he did on my case. I was dealing with a federal conspiracy charge in the western district of Virginia and was facing 10 years to life in prison. Funny thing is he was actually recommended to my family and we were planning on hiring him to be my paid attorney, but he actually ended up being appointed to me by the courts. How lucky was I? I was facing some very serious felony charges. I could have been charged with 10+ felony charges. Aaron Cook negotiated with the police dept. to where I was only being charged with a few felonies. Due to these charges it looked as though I could potentially face years in jail if not for having an attorney. Aaron was able to make a deal with the commonwealth and as a result I faced zero jail time.
Someone else was involved in the same incident as me but had chose a different attorney. They ended up getting six months in jail.
I am so glad I hired Aaron to try my case. I highly recommend him to anyone facing minor to very serious legal trouble.

I spent almost a month trying to get my landlord to respond to my important request. I had a very tight deadline and the landlord would not respond. I reached out to Attorney Ra Hee Jeon and she was able to get the landlord to respond to her in less than 24 hours. Attorney Jeon requested follow up information from the landlord and had a response from him within in hours. We were satisfied with Mr. Hasan's services. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and provided us with a detailed list of everything we would need. He did an excellent job filling out our paperwork and reviewing our documentation. He provided prompt responses to our questions and phone messages. He also kept on top of our case, making sure to ask for any items we missed or additional documents. We had no problems with immigration and were able to successfully submit our documentation. He did not set false expectations and was very clear and honest about the entire immigration process. He provided us with a clear timeline and explained to us thoroughly the different responses that we might receive. He also explained ahead of time, how any situations that could arise would be handled.

Mr. Singh saved our lives, when other lawyers told us they could not or would not help. We had an extremely difficult uphill slippery fight on our hands and he was our anchor and got us to the top to be able to continue the life we had established here in the US. There were times when it seemed hopeless and that were so very hard, but he not only fought for us but helped us keep faith that it would all work out. I thank God and Mr. Singh every chance I get for everything he has done and is still doing for us and families like us. After being abandoned and neglected by my mother, my dad brought me to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. I came here illegally; a visa needed an authorization from my mother to leave the country. As I grew older I faced the complications of not having a status. During my senior year, I got turned down for scholarships, I had the necessity to drive and to get a job but couldn't. Other attorneys said that there was no way to fix my status unless I left the country and waited for a pardon that could possibly never happen. I felt like there was nothing else I could do. My dad said to keep doing well in school that "education is something no one can ever take away from you." I graduated 3rd in my class and got accepted into well-known colleges. During that last year of high school, I met a girl who had a similar situation and had received her permanent residence with the help of Cabrini Attorneys. I got informed and got in contact with Attorney Laura Jacobson. The process had to be done before I turned 18; we had about 2 months to get everything together. Court approved some of the paperwork needed for my immigration application about 3 days before my 18th birthday. Laura was great! She kept me informed and made me feel like everything was going to work out. She worked very hard and her work paid off when I received my green card in October! My life is so much better; I have my driver's license, a job, and I’m attending college to become an elementary teacher. Nothing can stop me now.

Me and my spouse hired Griselle Garcia to do our adjustment of status, and I have nothing but positive things to say about her. She eased our worries, gave us information about resources offered by the Mexican Consulate, and gave us a detailed list of everything we needed to bring to the interview with UCSIS.

Yordanos Woldai is a great immigration lawyer! Before I went to see her, I consulted with other immigration attorneys in my area. I decided to go with her because from the very beginning she gave me professional and polite service. She did not disappoint! I hired Anne for my divorce. She helped me straighten out some basics after my ex claimed I abandoned him with a signed, notarized agreement in hand before I walked out. She made the divorce process as quick and painless as his foot dragging would allow and helped me solidify the modest concessions I asked for with ease. When it came to a nasty 4 year custody battle, I didn't think I could afford her and I worked with another attorney who made a complete mess of my case and lost some things I will never be able to reverse. After a significant loss, I decided I would do whatever it took and reached out to Anne again. She was amazing from our first conversation. She listened where the other attorney dismissed. She never blamed me or questioned my motives or actions with judgment, but from a genuine desire to understand so she could help the way I wanted and needed (within the confines of the law, obviously). She set realistic expectations without being a downer and she has always been easy to talk to when needed or quick to have someone on her team respond. She's an adept negotiator that never made me feel like I was giving miles for inches (like with the previous attorney). Anne doesn't victim blame or shame and never put herself on a pedestal where I thought she had no idea what I was thinking, feeling, or going through. She never ignored me before trials, always sitting with and talking with me beforehand. She helped me feel prepared and well equipped and didn't hesitate to highlight what I was already doing well while gently providing guidance where I needed to strengthen my case. She is thorough in her research, level headed in her approach, and adept at redirecting, particularly if you're up against someone who likes to fight with character assassination as opposed to merits of the case. Anne is amazing and I would highly recommend her, particularly for anyone with divorce and family issues. She really helped turn things back around after my previous attorney cost almost double and made a mess we will have to work long and hard to recover from. I felt like she was on my side without being blindly loyal to me so that she could remain objective AND supportive in a way that no previous attorney had. I really felt like I had a champion who wanted what I wanted just as badly as I wanted it!

Obtained attorney Casrleberry's services for a prenuptial agreement. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment with her and went to her office and gave her all the pertinent documents. Two days later my agreement was ready to be signed, this process could not of been more simple and easy. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is considering a prenuptial agreement. We were able to get this done just the week before the wedding and everything went very smooth really I highly recommend her.

I worked with Lesley on getting a permanent residency in the US (aka green card). There are a lot of forms, supporting documentation, lots of other info to gather and she guided us through it quite smoothly. Miatrai and her team helped me get my Green Card in record time. I got my travel document within 6 months and then my Green Card in 6 months, making the whole Green Card application process one year in total - a very unusual but favourable timeline for green card applications. On top of all that, an immigration interview was not required by USCIS, which I understand is VERY rare. Communication was open and we were notified every step of the way about our application.
