He represented my daughter and I in the appeal of the parental termination of parental rights. He really cared and advocated for my daughter and I. Our community has had the pleasure of working with David Farber on a very difficult flash flood insurance claim. Although the insurance company denied and underpaid our claim on 10 out of 12 of our buildings, David successfully got the claim settled for hundreds of thousands of dollars more than what the insurance company initially paid. It's rare to find anything good to say these days about virtually anything, but we have found an exception in the legal work of Steven Swartz, Esq. of Carballo Law, P.A.!
We were in a position of having to put through a travel insurance claim for our elderly parents' 6-week trip abroad that had to be cancelled due to a medical condition. The trip had been booked for mid July 2020 and we filed the claim in the beginning of May. For nearly four months we were stonewalled by the insurance company, who remained completely unresponsive to our numerous communications and then ultimately denied our claim outright... twice! We finally called Steven based on a personal recommendation, and right from our initial phone consultation we knew we had the right guy. He quickly ascertained the legitimacy of our position within the policy criteria, digested all the steps we had taken thus far, and turned out a 100-page detailed response including evidence and on-point legal citations that was followed up by the filing of a bad faith grievance with the Florida DFS and ultimately resulted in the payment of our claim... all in a little over a month! We could never have achieved such a successful outcome without him!
But more than just securing our claim, Steven was a true pleasure to work with. He was attentive, forthright and clear in all our dealings with him, addressing our myriad questions and concerns quickly, cordially and comprehensively – traits that unfortunately are not always readily found in attorneys these days. We cannot recommend his services highly enough, and while we hope to never need him again, we certainly know whom we will turn to without hesitation should we require legal representation in the future.

For the most part, unfortunately when you need an attorney it's because you need help with a difficult situation. That's what I received from Francisco Cieza, help. I found myself in a scary situation where I was taken advantage of and I didn't know what to do. I had never been in trouble or been in a situation where I needed a lawyer, but here I was! Francisco quickly defused my anxiety by giving me the facts of my case. This was going to be a process. I had questions, he had answers. I was nervous, he calmed me down. A pipe burst in my bathroom last year and I was recommended to The Strems Law Firm by my neighbor. I made a phone call to get more information and was able to hire them to help me with my claim. After my insurance company refused to give me any money and chose to deny my claim, I was told by one of their employees that the next step would be to enter into litigation in order to be able to make my repairs. Carlos Fernandez is the attorney assigned to my case and has helped me to understand every step of the way. Him and the employees at the firm have always returned my call and or email when I wanted status on my case. As of last week, my case was finally able to be closed and I can now look forward to receiving the money to be able to make my repairs. My wife and I were referred to Mr. Chohonis by one of my wife's co-workers. We were having issues with our landlord regarding termites in our apartment and other issues with our lease. Mr. Chohonis walked us though our issue, explained to us with great detail what we had to work with, and what we could do.
