I used Tim Gosselin on an insurance matter where the company violated the law but wouldn't pay. The insurance commissioner's office gave me the usual "we can't do anything and you have to see an attorney" garbage. I went to his office at 4:00 on a Friday and found him to be very laid back. He looked at all my paperwork and recommended a letter. By Saturday I had a copy of the letter in the mail. It was very good--forceful but not threatening. By the next Friday the insurance company paid the claim in full! Tim only charged about $200 for everything--other attorneys wanted that just to talk to me.
Call the other insurance attorneys in the phonebook, and Tim is the cheapest. And from my experience, the best.

I needed an attorney for a complex case involving an insurance company refusing to pay for covered services that could have potentially resulted in the death of my daughter. I used the bar finder for Thurston County and came up with several names. I called them all, and Paul was the first one to show interest in the case and the reasons given by the insurance company.
When I first met Paul I was a little skeptical because of his age, but I was not left with a lot of choices. Paul worked with us on his fee, and understood that we were not in the best situation financially because of how much we had already payed in co-pay costs.
Since this is a Federal Based Insurance Company for Retired military personnel, the issues were convoluted, complicated, and to say the very least difficult to navigate.
We met with Paul explained the situation and retained him as our attorney. Since that time I have been nothing but completely impressed with this young man's ability.
The amount of research he did to ensure that not just the major points, but all points where the insurance company had violated the law, and the contract to provide care were covered, explained and were addressed immediately to get my daughter the care she needed.
Even though the hospital has not been paid, they understand the need and are continuing to treat my daughter based on this man's ability to fully explain the legal situation. The hospital that is treating my daughter is not involved in any negative way, and he has been in contact with them to the extent that the hospital is cooperating, even though I am sure they are leery that we may change our minds about who gets into litigation.
In short, I would say that if you judge this man simply by age, you would be missing out on a great attorney. I stand behind this review 100%, and have given Paul permission to give my name and number to prospective clients that may be unsure of his qualifications.

I went to mr scowcroft stressed out to the max .he rapidly set in motion everything I needed that day and had all the document s I needed judge signed by next day. I have called him over again and he couldn't be more friendly and helpful I felt I had made a friend and anything I needed to settle my dads will he is there to help. At such a sad time and have problems with a bank not wanting to close out my dads account and help me Jerry was there . I would recommend him to everyone

We approached Ms. Ahmed with a very complicated divorce case. It was a devastating severance of a 50 year marriage that completely unanticipated. Culturally, even in this modern and progressive day of age, divorce is not a matter that is commonly experienced, especially within the generation we were dealing with. We are Pakistani and Muslim which brought significant complexities into this case for us and especially for Ms. Ahmed as she navigated through our situation tirelessly first simply to understand all these components. We were really left in the dark by the opposing party, and we could not 'help' Ms. Ahmed much. I know we did not make it easier for her. At every turn we presented her with 'I do not know". We did not have anything in our control, we didn't know where anything was, we could not untangle anything for her. We made her work as challenging, and difficult as it could possibly be. We were completely an utterly in the dark, and that is how we approached her. Yet, she managed us, emotionally, professionally, compassionately, step by step along the way, and investigated our situation from every single angle and then some. This was over a year of harsh struggle and she unwaveringly stood by our side. There were times where we did not want to hear what she wanted to say, but that did not deter her from always being realistic and honest with us. She wouldn't give us one possible outcome, but ten. She did not treat us as a client, but from her communications, from her availabilities, from her constant checking in with us, at every and any hour, we were confident knowing she genuinely cared and treated us as family. All this aside, Ms. Ahmed's knowledge of the law, is impeccable. She is both calm and aggressive, she is both graceful and a beast, she is so strong that even when things are looking impossible, you always see the light through her confidence. Everyone must be wondering did we get the outcome we wanted? Ms. Ahmed did God's work. She not only protected my mother, but protected her legacy and our generations to come. The outcome that other legal professionals prepared us for, the outcome that friends, community, and family told us we would probably get, was not going to be a devastating outcome for us and not one that we could live with. Ms. Ahmed fought hard for us to get us the impossible, and she won...we won. Whatever stone she could un-turn, she did, whatever creative angle she could investigate and research, she did, whatever approach her mind had not considered yet, she found and researched. No matter what the case was looking like, through all the ups and downs, we always found peace in her consistent limitless determination. Before we were able to think of presenting a thought or an idea, she was 100 steps ahead of us. We ended up in court, terrified, sleepless nights, anxieties that led us through 1000 paths of 'what ifs', but she held our hand through all the mess, the complications, and the nonsense. Do not let her calmness or gracefulness, fool you, she is a force of nature. She is one of the strongest most confident women I have ever met. Meredith was the best thing that happened to me at one of the worst times in my life. My father passed away suddenly and it left me in a very difficult situation regarding his estate. It got ugly and complicated very quickly. We hire attorney's to help us legally, but just the very fact that you need an attorney for any reason, means you are going through a lot of stress in your life. Meredith is amazing. She doesn't let things fall through the cracks and she gets the job done. She is smart and very good at what she does. Which is why we hire attorney's right? But she is a very genuine person who cares about her clients on top of being excellent at her job. And that is what makes her great at her job. You never feel like a number and she will support you through the process every step of the way. I never want to hire an attorney again, but if I did, she would be my first choice.

Ray did a great job taking care of my claim. He explained the process to me when I first met with him. He negotiated with the insurance company, didn't settle too soon and assured me that he was moving the process forward. He even worked on the claim after he was paid to get some more money for me.

Ray started well with the initial phone call, but after that never communicated anything unless directly called. Never responded to a single e-mail, never had any status update when called. Only seemed to do anything when on the phone, and was obviously scrambling because he hadn't done anything, when I initiated the call. My case didn't seem to matter to him. Poor experience, would not recommend.

He is an expert litigator and zealous advocate who, in a couple of cases, has gotten better results for me than I expected. Ray is as responsive as any lawyer I have ever worked with. I got pulled over for speeding and all of a sudden the police were asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions. Then they told me that I had a warrant for theft, and went in the car and took my weapon. The cops too me to jail and wrote me up on 2 traffic tickets and 2 felonies. John got in touch though because I still had my cell phone and I was able to get out in 1 hour. Then he followed up in court and had everything dismissed..as for speeding, he got it reduced to "Inattentive Driving". I couldnt be more lucky or have a better attorney. !

John is an exceptional lawyer. My wife and I hire him in a personal injury case. He did the preliminary work on the case. The law firm that he was working at reassigned the case to a different lawyer and then set of lawyers who were not diligent. After the judgement, John was kind enough to review the decision. He was very professional in his comments and provide some very helpful advice non gratis. It was unfortunate that we did not have him as our lawyer through the whole process. I believe that the decision would have turned out differently.

Credit to the LvBC team - Seth and Karl are outstanding!
I hired them to assist with a residential real estate case. I performed an initial consultation with several other firms, but Seth and LvBC clearly stood out even at early stages. Throughout the entire process they were consistently responsive, informative, and realistic/honest with me. I truly felt like I had expert guidance at every step, and that they took their duty of looking out for my best interest seriously.
LvBC got a tough case - it was a complex situation, the case lasted longer than expected, and there were multiple teams of opposing counsel to contend with. I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023. At the advise of a friend, I contacted Andrew Cherin to assist me with the claim mediation with both my auto insurance and my health insurance. He was able to claim me the maximum payout from my auto insurance, and got my health insurance to waive any reimbursement out of the auto claim!
