James Mount is pleasant surprise, I have to say, as he is my court appointed attorney for a case I have currently. I took a chance on him because of how he handled himself in court with his other clients. He is sharp, on point and he knows his stuff. He advised me on the best course of action and I trust him implicitly. Court appointed attorneys have gotten a negative reputation at times because of the tired adage that they “just go through the motions” and not have to really get entrenched and go to bat for their clients. The state of Texas now reviews everyone of their cases and they are held to a high standard which is great for the general populace of course. I highly recommend this man if you need a seasoned and smart attorney. Great job James. It is refreshing to witness someone who genuinely cares for his/her clients and handles himself with aplomb and class.

Micheal Slider is the best! He and Ms. Sharma fought tooth and nail in my cases. I found David and one of my darkest parts of my life and from the jump he believed me when no one would listen to my side of the story. Ms. Jolanda Jones is by far the best attorney I ever had. Ms. Jones stayed in contact with me and when my phone was off she dug deep in my paper work and found a friend of the family to contact me. Sylvia Escobedo was hired on my case for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. She kept me informed on everything that was going on with my case. Within 30 days of my first court date, Kelley had my case reduced to a misdemeanor deferred, so that I could return to work. Kelley worked diligently with the prosecutor and myself to get the matter resolved quickly. She has a great rapport with the DAs, and she kept me informed every step of the way. Kelley helped me with a theft case that was ridiculous anyway. Not only did she explain everything that was going on, what could happen, she also made me feel instantly upon our first meeting that everything was going to be fine. I had been so stressed about this issue and when I met with her she made me feel relieved. She is extremely knowledgeable of the criminal court system, responded immediately to any questions I had, and she researched the case to the tiniest detail. I was amazed at how skilled she was and my case has been dismissed completely. She told me in the beginning that was what she was going for but that there were other possibilities. I always knew what was going on and what she was going to do each time we went to court. I was arrested, unfortunately, for the 3rd time in almost 18 years for theft. Each arrest being almost 6 years apart to the day. After meeting James he treated me with humility and grace despite my wrong doings. I highly recommend James Sullivan as a juvenile defense attorney. My son was wrongfully arrested for retaliation of a peace officer and assault of a family member. Both of these charges are very serious felony charges. The juvenile system treated him as if he were already a convicted criminal, without hearing the full story. I read several reviews of many different juvenile attorneys and I firmly believed that James Sullivan was the best around. I called him and he spent over an hour on the phone with me. He listened to my heartbreaking story of an awesome young man that was about to have his life turned upside down for something that was beyond his control. We met in person the very next Saturday. He accommodated my schedule and planned to meet my entire family that evening. James Sullivan interviewed all of us and was very kind and patient. My son had been physically and mentally abused by his father for several years and acted in self defense against an intoxicated, grown man. Without getting into details of the nature of the abuse, Attorney Sullivan was able to get BOTH felony charges dismissed. He saved my son's life and now he has an awesome opportunity heading into adulthood!

In November of 2018 I was arrested for the first time in my life. I spent time in jail for family violence and it was a moment of failure for me. I feared that my future and everything I had worked for over the course of my life would be in jeopardy. I’m not rich but I wasn’t going to risk my future any further, so I reached out to Mr. James Sullivan. I found Mr. Sullivan by googling for family violence lawyers. My court date came much more quickly than I had expected, so I called him the day before I was expected in court, and he began representing me.
