On April 25th 2009 while working as a public school teacher I suffered a massive double stroke. After getting out of the hospital I tried to go back to work and was told I was too sick to remain with the Fort Worth Independent School District and was terminated on April 15th 2010. While talking about my situation with my family doctor she told me I should immediately file for disability. While looking for legal representation from a law firm experienced with Social Security disability I came across the Law Office of Gerard Lynch Social Security Disability Lawyer. When I called the law office I had a very helpful and reassuring three and a half hour conversation with Gerard Lynch. He called Social Security and verified that I met all the criterion for filing for disability.
Gerard told me I was within weeks of qualifying but still met the requirements. He told me that it would probably take 18 to 24 months of hearings to receive disability. Gerard told me to be patient but he was certain in the end that I would win. On November 2nd 2012, nineteen months after filing I received a fully favorable decision from Social Security. Everything worked out just a Gerard assured me it would.

Very unprofessional. Paid to go to trail. Never heard from her up until the trial date where I asked if she would like to get with my witnesses and come up with a game plan for trial. She told me she was sick with pneumonia and influenza A and that it would get reset. Had scheduled work off but decided to go in because it was going to be “reset”. After texting multiple days and no response I had to call up court and they informed me that I did have court (the next day). We went to court unprepared and she showed up late (every other time she did also) and screamed at the judge that she had pneumonia and couldn’t talk. Mind you she is screaming. The judge told her it wouldn’t get reset without a Dr. note. Unbelievably, somehow she couldn’t come up with one, so they proceeded with trail. I ended up taking plea deal because I didn’t feel confident, having never had a meeting about trail. She told me she was ready to go, which completely contradicted what she had told the judge “I can’t do a trail today”. After this I decided I couldn’t trust her with my freedom and settled. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and further research an attorney who will fight for their clients and also communicate with them. WASTE OF MONEY. Find someone reputable.

Grant Scheiner was recommended to me by a friend when I found myself needing an Attorney. I was being charged with a felony and would soon be arrested. I was terrified and at a loss as to what to do. I found David and one of my darkest parts of my life and from the jump he believed me when no one would listen to my side of the story. He worked day and night to make sure we went over every fact we could about my case, on top of everything he kept me in the loop of what was happening in court even when we weren't scheduled to be there. Melissa became my court appointed attorney for an family violence case. 3rd degree felony violation of protective order and impeding breath. I sat in jail 7 days and I kid you not this lady walked in court and I could instantly feel how experienced she was. She was straight forward with me about everything as if she was my mother. I couldn't do anything but thank her numerous times and cried because she showed me that anything is possible. She got my court date expedited and I walked out of jail the next day also getting my bond dropped from a price I couldn't afford. As far as I know I will always be looking forward to Melissa working my case

Let me Begin by saying that I am not always the easiest person to deal with. Throughout this entire legal process, Miss Dickson always kept me well informed of exactly what was happening. I have known other attorneys not to do that. When we appeared before the court, she always knew the details of the case, where we stood in the process, and was well-versed in my defense. In late 2019, I had an illegal alien file a fraudulent accident claim against me, for an accident I allegedly left the scene of. My insurance company disproved the claim in court, and disposed of the claim.
However, in the course of setting up this fraudulent claim for his illegal alien client, their attorney apparently filed a fraudulent accident report with Harris County. Even though the insurance case was dismissed, because it was a fraudulent claim, my ticket was never dismissed.
Fast forward to early 2021. I was arrested on the two-year-old fraudulent warrant from the fraudulent accident claim. Miss Dickson was always on time. Always well acquainted with the facts and the current status of my case. And was able to get it dismissed in relatively short order. I would encourage anyone to hire Melissa Dickson.

Jonathan julio vela bar card 24119592 was my court appointed lawyer 2 years ago on a misdemeanor case and we agreed not to go to court if he could get a misdemeanor B instead of an misdemeanor A. I recently check my background and I have a misdemeanor A on my record. He has no word he was hours late more than once and never had my side was always frustrated and thinking about other things while telling me what the court was saying. I am Totally disappointed in This Law Firm. I have not met 1 person to this date. Unacceptable of the treatment. I've lost my job due to going out for surgery and no one is able to be contacted. No answered calls. My injury was 06/27/2022. I was not in my best interest, no lost wages was considered. My release forms was signed 06/24/2024 and I am still waiting on my part of wages owed to me. I cannot get in touch with anyone, It's as if they took my money and ran with it. The answering service just tells me that they cannot get in touch with anyone and that they will have someone call me back which never happens. It's almost 6 months of the release forms and no one will call on exception of Barbara and she states that she is unable to reach Lorena who told me that it will take less than 3 months for everything because they did not do my Loss of wages as they said they would.. I am sitting here no.help, no job and still with injuries. I.made a visit up to the office since I've never met anyone, the office was closed in which I was told that the person was out on Maternity Leave.I am not satisfied with the services. Poor services and where is my money. We are going towards 3 years since the injury and Nothing.
