Robert Keehner is by far the most caring and intelligent lawyer that I have encountered. He has helped several friends as well as myself. In each case, he is always available to answer your phone calls at any given time. Most lawyers will not do this. He is also a fighter for you and your case. He will advise you and ultimately do what you are asking from him. My experience with other lawyers has shown that they just want the money and really don’t care about your situation. Other lawyers don't even get to know you by name, your just another client. Robert is the opposite. I recommend Robert Keehner as your only option.
By far the best lawyer in the DMV.

First and foremost, the reviews are real! I called late one evening, needing a lawyer to represent me in my situation. From day one, I felt heard and supported. To start I’m a real person, which is something I have to ensure whenever I read other reviews of things online. My spouse struggles with vast mental health challenges and unfortunately had a mental health crisis that resulted in his arrest. I’ve been hunting for someone who not only could represent him, but for someone who is compassionate and fierce. I found out and researched Mr. Flohr before leaving him a voice mail. He called me later that same day and for the first time since everything happened I finally have some hope again for my husband. Christopher Flohr listened and heard me. Mr. Flohr was hired by our family to navigate the sticky, complicated mess that our loved one got into due to his mental health issues. There were three separate cases all at once. Mr. Flohr took time out to talk to multiple family members to understand the situation at home. He not only empathized but was compassionate about our difficult situation. On multiple occasions we were able to reach out to Chris over phone, email, and text to get updates or provide him with relevant information. Chris was able to persuade the state that our loved one needed help and had a stable home/family waiting for him. As a result of his effort our loved one is now free and getting the help he needs. I had two cases with mister Papirmeister. In both cases he got me no jail time. My first gun case he got me three years probation no jail time. My second gun case he won my motion to suppress evidence which ended up getting the case thrown out. Overall a good man who cares for his clients.

What stands out the most about Mr. Papirmeister isn’t just his reputation and understanding of criminal law, though, both are impressive. Attorney Chester has been referred to me by the online Montgomery Bar Association Referral Service. NO THE PHONE REFERRAL SERVICE, I have to underline that because they are incredible and do they best to assist. Back to Mr.Chester! I contacted him for a Condo Association dispute. first thing on the phone, He asked me what is the management company, I told him and he answered: " the company is owned by a good friend of his". Without being an attorney I spotted a conflict of interest right at the beginning of the conversation and the end of the conversation attests it and the lack of objectivity of this attorney. He found normal for a management company to hold a storage key of an owner for 2 years, He found normal a management company don't have and hold accurate and update paperwork. That management provide a 1989 ( 35 YEARS OLD) contract to be applied on a newly owned property of 2020. and so on.
I definitely DO NOT recommend this attorney.
He doesn't go to court to represent you or the law he studied!!

Mr. Felsen was absolutely amazing! He went over and beyond his call of duty for me, ended up taking on an additional surprise case, and stepped in for my bond hearing. He worked over the weekend to ensure my needs were met for my cases. He even delivered our evidence to the court room in a snowstorm for the next day. Mr. Felsen gave me both the pros and cons to each decision that would be made on my end. He was a diamond in a rough. I wasnt just another number to him. I could tell he truly cared. He also is a monster in the court room and knows law very well. He knows when to be aggressive. My situation is very weird and was a challenging one, but he came through and won our cases. He even visited me while I was incarcerated on a Sunday and he spoke with the Commissioner at 12:30 AM unexpectedly for a different case he wasnt planning on working on. I was facing sexual assault charges and had plead guilty to a misdemeanor with another lawyer. With the plea, I was required to register as a sex offender. this was the absolute worst time of my life. My only chance out of this situation would be a successful reconsideration appeal. I needed a lawyer who was top notch and experienced. I choose Barry Helfand and he did not disappoint. Two months later I was scheduled a hearing and Barry was able to get me a PBJ. Mr. Piereck became my attorney rather last minute to a very complicated case. The states attorneys office at the last minute decided to dismiss it, but Mr. Pierick was extremely helpful and informed on all of my options moving forward and as to why the states attorney’s office canceled.
If I ever had another case, I would highly consider even with a long distance between us in counties,I would call him again.

Dilip Paliath took my grandson case in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Paliath had to drive three hours to attend the court session beginning at 9:00 am. My grandson met with Mr. Paliath before court began. Mr. Paliath ask personal questions and discussed different roles of court persons. My grandson did not understand the concepts of court and Mr. Paliath expressed this concern to the judge. It was determined by the judge that my grandson needed training about court. Mr. Paliath had to return during the winter twice and the case was not settled until June 2016. Through all of this Mr. Paliath kept in contact about each and every court corespondence. Mr. Paliath is both kind and a complete professional. I will call him again!!

She was very patience and understanding of what was a very sensitive case for me (Due to my secret clearance and military background ) . I was worried, and nervous about what was going to happen to me, and I also thought it was going to hurt my career. Jennifer was very discreet while working on my case, which was very reassuring.
Before I decided to look her up, I visited quite a few lawyers to talk about my case, and needless to say they were less than helpful. Most of them made me feel more like a number than they actually cared. I was running low on time and I went to go this one lawyer who was going to have me just take the quick and easy way out (take a deal / Plea), and was going to charge me an astronomical amount to do so. Needless to say I was thinking about just representing myself that is until I came across Jennifer Matthews name on a review website. I was going to give one last person a try, because it was starting to become draining seeing so many people and explaining the case. I started by giving her a call and talking to her on the phone, I already within 5 minutes of talking to her felt a little more at ease. To be honest I was still skeptical though, most of the people that I spoke with on the phone sounded nice and like they cared... at first. I went to meet her in person (still skeptical and nervous) and as she introduced herself and I sat down I felt more comfortable than I did with any of the other people I talked to. We reviewed my case together and discussed what my options were at that time, and what I needed to do to get the case moving forward. She was straight forwarded with me from the start. She didn’t sugarcoat anything, and she put everything on the table. I knew everything from our first meeting, which was nice. I never felt like she was going leave me hanging or charge me extra later. I really liked how she talked to me as a person, not belittling me or treating me different because of my case. I can honestly say I trusted her.
As my court date came closer, she kept in touch on a regular bases and making sure we had everything we needed for the case. I never felt unprepared nor unimportant. The day of the trial she met me at the courthouse where she was fully prepared for the case. She knew what she was doing. She kept in contact with the court the whole time. Oh and not to mention her attention to detail, she found some inconsistencies in the reports on my case, which was for my benefit. Needless to say I would consider my case a huge win and I don’t think it would have ended the way it did with any other person by my side.
I’m sure this goes without saying I would most certainly recommend Jennifer to anyone who needs an amazing defense lawyer. She will be by your side every step of the way, and will not leave you hanging. She is the best, and It would be in anyone’s best interest that is in need of help to look her up.

My son was arrested for some pretty serious charges. I had never had to deal with anything like that before and didn't know where to begin. A friend who had Jennifer for a DUI recommended her. She was amazing! She helped us find a bail bondsman in the middle of the night. Met with us as soon as he was released. She really listened to us and took an immediate interest in the case. She took all the time necessary to explain the process, the court system, everything until we felt comfortable. She is serous top notch and I don't know how we would have gotten through that nightmare without her! Absolutely recommend!

From the first day we started working with Mark he was completely honest and candid about what he could or couldn't do. He also had an air about him that showed he was confident in his ability and presented his record of success but also failures. You have to be confident to be able to do this. He gave us an overview of the process to have our child placed in a private academic site. This was great because before working with Mark we had no idea of what to expect. Setting expectations was something that he does extremely well. I went to several meetings with Mark and he was always listening and asking questions which shows he was trying to get a command of his facts before speaking. There was no grandstanding involved in his approach. When he spoke it was for a purpose. When it was time for him to speak he held the room and he was direct. And when he needed to he was AGGRESSIVE, precise and fought for my son in a way that I never could have. Mark also has relationships that extended beyond our case that actually helped him to understand all parties involved and strengthen our argument. I never felt like he didn't have control of the situation. He also worked very well with the all of the therapists that were to be involved with our case. All of our therapists said they had heard of Mark and that he was good. If we had any questions, he made time to call, text, email or use any other method just to keep me calm. This made a difference. He also helped me understand there are certain things I should and shouldn't say about our son when asked by the opposing attorney. I should also point out Mark was never late and he always stayed afterwards to have frank discussions with me. In the end my son got everything he needed and more. Mark made sure everything was in writing and properly managed. He even set up a meeting that I couldn't get with the private school. I would have to rate mark as being outstanding.

My family hired Mr. Martin to represent our son in a case against the Baltimore County School system. Our son recently moved from a public school to a private school because of his learning disabilities. Although BCPS was aware of his issues, they denied him services for 2 years which resulted in our son falling two years behind in his education. I cannot say enough good things about Nicole and the work she did for my family. She helped my son through one of the most difficult times in his life and in our family's life. She is knowledgeable, insightful, calm and responsive. She was present whenever we needed her.
