Marshall law firm is the best. I want to thank him again. I don't think his clients are just another case to him. When I read his demand letter I had to thank him for listening to me. He not only represented me throughout the matter. He was available to answer questions I had along the way. I'm grateful that Chuck Marshall is on my side. My matter was settled before the real damage was done. I purchased a BMW Thinking they would use my capital one. “ Never do what I did, That is leaving with the car without ever seeing the contract”. Kathryn helped administer my mom's estate with the utmost professionalism, patience, and warmth. After my mom died last year, I had no idea what to do about her estate, of which I was a trustee. I went to the large law firm which originally drew up her trust, only to find that they were going to charge me a criminal amount for a processing this relatively straightforward trust. After starting work with them, I realized I had to switch, which was painful because I didn't want this to be more complicated than it needed to be. Kathryn was recommended to me by a friend, and not only did she complete the work much more efficiently for a reasonable fee, but she took the time to explain different aspects of the estate which confused me, and recommended certain decisions, whereas the big law firm and the banks I was dealing with did no such thing. None of them could answer questions like "What do people normally do with an inherited IRA?" whereas Kathryn could. Highly recommended!

My family hired Ms. Bednar to help defend my brother from a lawsuit. My brother was incarcerated, and other attorneys we had contacted would not even listen to his case. After calling dozens of attorneys, Ms.Bednar was the ONLY one who took the time to listen carefully and understand our concerns.
Throughout the year or so that we worked with her, we did not always see eye-to-eye, but she consistently demonstrated two critical qualities: First, she always let us know that she was listening carefully, and second, she was faithful to the statement on her website that she believed in the importance of working with her clients as a team.
Lawyers have a reputation for being interested only in the almighty dollar, and I doubt there are many who work for free. Ms. Bednar charged a standard rate for attorneys in her area, but we never felt she was in any way dishonest or greedy. She kept careful accounts as to how our money was being spent, down to the minute, and she gave us clear monthly reports.
Our final result was not a complete "win," but given the circumstances of the case, it was perhaps the best result we could have hoped for. I would definitely hire her again if I needed an attorney.

I found myself up against a forged and falsified lease agreement with my ex and the tenants who rented our cabin.
The first two lawyers I called said, "good luck." My third call was to Miles Dolinger. After hearing of my situation he simply said, "let me do some research and call you back.'
I received that call back a few hours later and he shared with me his findings. I hired him right then over the phone.
Long story short the tenants were served papers written up by Miles and within 30 days they had vacated the property.
This matter bled into a Hawaii Property matter I was also entangled in with the ex. I kept Miles on as my representation for the California property and as mitigator to my Hawaii Attorney.
It is my conclusion that of the four lawyers that were negotiating this "complex and dual-state issue", Miles would be the only one I would ever rehire. His alignment/walk with integrity and honesty was miles high above the other attorneys.

This was an Underinsured Motorist case, in which my own car insurance carrier didn’t believe the extent of my injuries and had denied my claim. Barbara had to first prove the validity of my injuries to the carrier of the driver who rear ended me, then to my own insurance company. She knew the process, local courts and mediators well, and consistently steered the case toward the best result. Barbara prepared me for a deposition and mediations. She knew the facts of my case thoroughly and what to focus on at every stage. I was kept informed all along and supported by friendly, top-notch office staff. While Barbara’s conduct was professional at all times, she was also kind, demonstrating genuine concern for me personally. Ultimately, the award was much better than anticipated, making this a positive experience at all levels. Even my obligation to pay back Medicare was negotiated for me. I recommend Barbara Monty without reservation and I would seek her assistance again, if needed. I give high praise and appreciation.

Jonathan Bowne came through – after contacting numerous attorneys he was among the few that responded to our representation request – most said they did not do contract litigation but Jonathan did and indeed he did – he responded immediately and after our initial phone conversation (by the way we never did actually meet in person) he laid out a excellent strategy – being an “old school” type of individual that was quite unusual for me to continue with someone “sight unseen” !
No matter since within days he was able to settle out of court for us with only the agreed upon original invoice as our only and final payment – the litigant tried to sue for work not performed (which was only one reason not to continue with him) – the only monies really out were the attorney fees and legal filings - no one wants that but we had to defend ourselves or lose much more – even though this case should never had happen in the first place we were so glad to have it behind us – in other words “WE WON”!
