Awesome!! I had a customer in Chicago who owed me 40K in receivables. After a week Michael Kelsheimer negotiated a settlement where my EX Customer was sending me monthly checks until we were paid. I was constantly kept informed of all communication between my customer and the attorneys’ office. Most attorneys get a bad rap but I can honestly say Mr. Kelsheimer did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend him (and I have) to anyone.

I worked with Susan years ago when I was an associate at Jenkens and Gilchrist. She is a copyright guru and is an expert in copyright law. She is also enthusiastic about what she does and is approachable, compassionate and cares genuinely for her clients. We hired Roger Mandel to file lawsuit of massive fraud against a fraudulent enterprise in Dallas area engaged in looting millions of dollars from unsuspecting investors. Roger was our lead attorney. We were looking for good lawyers with iron fists. Roger got titaniums. He built the case so well and so adept in engaging the defendants to their own courtroom defeat that defendants did not realize we had won the default judgements right under their nose. From the start, the defendants were cornered with only one option: surender. All the defendants setteld on our terms.

Jeff helped me deal with the insurance companies after a hunting accident that put me in the ICU/hospital for 2 months. I worked with Gene as a client on two employment law cases involving former employees and the company. Gene was a true partner in both cases. He was thorough, fair, cosistent, and knowledgeable. Gene provided excellent advice for conducting the day-to-day activities during the cases as well as exact predictions with regard to the eventual outcomes. In both cases mediation became the means for settlement and Gene was instrumental in preparing me for those sessions.
Gene has also acted as a personal lawyer in a partnership I was forming with another individual. He conducted excellent research and prepared the documents we needed. Even though the partnership did not come to fruition Gene gave us sound advice with which to make decisions.
Gene also has become a mediator. His methods and approach are in line with theory and always have the total reconciliation process in mind.

I was terminated from my position abruptly and my company owed me over $30,000 in commissions that had not been paid out. I have never worked with a lawyer and I have to admit I was weary of everyone I spoke to. I reached out to multiple employment lawyers around the state and Mary was the clear choice.
Mary took the time to talk to me about my case specifically and answered my questions on the initial phone call. It was clear that Mary was very knowledgeable about Texas labor and employment law. Her rates seemed very fair and aligned with the market. I was happy to sign an agreement to work with Mary.
Upon reviewing my employee agreement she noticed that all litigation was to be held in the state of IL. Mary could have moved forward and I would have never thought anything about it, but that is not what she did. Although she had already had multiple conversations with me and reviewed my documents she advised me to get a lawyer in IL to avoid higher cost overall. I was not charged anything for her time. I hired Bryan Garner and his team of five lawyers to work on an appellate brief for my client. His reputation as a top-notch writer is unquestionable, and I was interested to see it in practice. Blown away is all I can really say. His description of editorial consulting doesn't do it justice. It wasn't an "editing job" so much as a complete rewrite of the brief. Despite my initial skepticism during the process, the final production was impeccable--no-spin but persuasive, and above all winning.
You've never experienced anything as intense as a round of serial editing in Garner's office. It is humbling but indisputably enlightening. It was a learning experience that I've put into practice in my group. We've made it a practice of reviewing some of Garner's edits on the brief we hired him on to use in our later work, hoping the genius will rub off on us. And squeezing out every last drop of goodness from that appellate masterpiece.
This is one satisfied client, and I am eager to work with him again if I get a case that would interest him. The legal gods willing.

I contacted Brian about a customer that was trying to go behind my back and work with a factory that does exclusive work for my company. They were threatening legal action if I or the factory (overseas) did not meet their demands. . Brian knew exactly what needed to be done to prevent this happening. Took the time to explain to me all the legal options.
A couple of very well put emails to my (now ex customer) solved everything in my favor with no huge legal expenses.
Wish all lawyers listened to what their clients needs are. Will be using Brian for any future business issues if needed and will highly recommend him to anyone.

We hired Blake Beckham to file lawsuit of massive fraud against a fraudulent enterprise in Dallas area engaged in looting millions of dollars from unsuspecting investors. We were looking for good hearted lawyers with iron fists. Blake got titaniums. The opponents had close to six to ten attorneys, some with so much experience their dentures would shake, but blake had the zeal and lawyerly skills so effective that each and every motion we filed was accepted including contempt and sanctions against the defendant and their high octane zero power lawyer who basically kneeled to settle on our terms. Before we hired Beckham and Mandel, I was drawn to the Blake's deposition skills but did not know how valuable these will be when the defendant is a master crook. The defendant dreaded Blake's deposition and finally confessed to receiving illegal payments.
