Jonathan Scott Smith is the most professional and knowledgeable attorney I have ever met. After a few months of research, I drove almost an hour to ask him to take a case previously held by another attorney. I knew after our first meeting he was the only person that I would trust going forward. The case was capped by my coverage and full of complications. Not only did he take my case, but he also won my case! He counseled me throughout, made it very convenient, fought for me no matter what came our way, even during Covid, and stood his ground. I was consistently kept in the loop of information and prepared for deposition and settlement. He was always 10 steps ahead and prepared for everything, even the unexpected which did arise. His confidence and knowledge gave me confidence when speaking in settlement. Linda in the office is amazing! I was a victim of a slip and trip accident at a prominent casino. 4 other firms turned down my case. Mr. Smith was my last chance. I am glad I made the call to him when I did. He fully explained that cases like this are a hard win, because the property has to accept liability. He took on my case and was diligent with acquiring all document from my medical providers. This was a long case held up by my very own medical providers, but Mr. Smith persevered and kept after what was needed. All of this while he experienced office staff changes, various paralegals errors combined with a strong caseload of his own. The fruit of the tree came to pass, he secured me a settlement that exceeded my minimum acceptable settlement.... SIGNIFICANTLY.. exceeded. I would recommend this firm and Johnathan Smith to anyone who feels they need a real advocate and someone who will do the work for you.

Recently I had received inferior work from a dentist claiming he was a specialist in a particular field of dentistry. In addition to paying an exorbitant fee for his service, I was extremely dissatisfied to say the least. Top caliber lawyer. I had a home improvement contract I was struggling to get out of after the contractor kept delaying the work and tried to bait and switch me with the materials they were going to use. He was thorough in going through the details of the contract and pragmatic about what my legal options were. Drafted a very well written letter to the contractors requesting a cancellation of the agreement which they promptly obliged to. Saved me a lot of headache. I'd recommend him without hesitation.

In early 2020 I contacted Mr. Kelly to handle 2 cases - one nursing home and one hospital. Mr. Piereck became my attorney rather last minute to a very complicated case. The states attorneys office at the last minute decided to dismiss it, but Mr. Pierick was extremely helpful and informed on all of my options moving forward and as to why the states attorney’s office canceled. If I ever had another case, I would highly consider even with a long distance between us in counties,I would call him again.

Troy Nussbaum was very helpful in my case with a secure govt agency, I feel like he helped me know what to do when, researched and created a detailed written response - guided me through what was a RIDICULOUS charge, and attended an oral review.
