Once Mr MacFee, accepted my case and agreed on a retainer he went straight to work. I will say my case was a long and hard, almost 3 years long one. And even as long as it was and complex, he never went up on cost.
Mr. MacFee is a nice person but at the same time he is a beast in a court room. He kept me informed the whole way. And he told me what was going to happen at each turn.
If I ever need a lawyer or was able to refer someone it would be Bradley..
Mr MacFee is great in my opinion.

On May 3, 2017 I called Brad MacFee and asked him to go and see my fiance, who at the time was incarcerated and awaiting trial on a 1st degree murder charge. Needless to say, the fact that he was facing such a serious charge and was incarcerated and away from us was causing a significant amount of stress to the family. Within a few days Brad went out and interviewed my fiance. He throughly reviewed the case using the information he had available to him at the time, which was essentially the police report and the information provided to him by his client. After the visit Brad called me, discussed with me what he had discussed during the visit and told me how much it would cost for him to handle the case. Under the circumstances I thought the fee was more than reasonable and I retained Brad to begin representation. According to the information Brad obtained, there were 2 people that claimed to be eyewitnesses to the murder. With that, Brad focused on locating those people and investigating their version of event and their credibility. In the weeks leading up to the trial, it became clear that one of the witnesses was missing and would not be found. That left a single remaining eyewitness on whom the state would have to rely to obtain a conviction. Brad located this person and met with him and his family, interviewing all of them thoroughly. As it turned out, this witness, who had previously identified my fiance in a photo lineup, claimed that he had been coerced into making that identification. He also denied even seeing the crime, but claimed that he had been arrested on a drug charge, and had been told by the police that if he cooperated with them and made the necessary identification, there would be no charges filed against him related to the drug case. On the morning trial was set to begin, the eyewitness signed an affidavit swearing to the information he had previously provided. Naturally, this fact created a major problem for the state, whose sole eyewitness had now claimed under oath that his entire involvement in the case was a sham. I assume this fact ultimately payed into the decision of the state to dismiss the charges against my fiance, thereby eliminating even the possibility that he could be convicted in this case. At the en of the day, the point is that not just anyone is capable of handling a case this serious. You need a lawyer that is willing to get out into the street and get his hands dirty in an effort to obtain every possible advantage for his client. In Baltimore City, where the murder rate is at an all-time high, prosecutors are under tremendous pressure to bring these cases to trial and win convictions. They simply do not drop these cases like they were speeding tickets. It was only because Brad was willing to go out and do what needed to be done that the state reluctantly made the decision to dismiss the charges. That said, I am very, very glad we made the decision to bring Brad MacFee in to handle this case for us, and if you ever find yourself in a similar position, I would strongly encourage you to at east talk with him before making the critical decision regarding who will represent you or your loved one.

My fiance was attacked with a knife and he did what he had to. The guy that attacked him ended up badly injured and the police arrested by fiance. He was charged with Attempted first degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault, and assault with a deadly weapon. I immediately began searching for a lawyer that could help us. I met with numerous lawyers and spoke to many over the phone. I was referred to Bradley Macfee from a family member. At this point I was honestly so stressed over this because I couldn’t find a lawyer that was a good fit. I met with a lot of good lawyers, but I didn’t feel like they would really fight for us. I didn’t want empty promises about the outcome because that would be a lie. I wanted someone that would be ruthless and fight. I found exactly what I was searching for in Brad. He was very straight up with me and he was very down to earth. He immediately began working to try to get my fiance out of jail. Over the time that he was in jail, he went to see him numerous times. He was denied bail, so Bradley put in for a Habeas Corpus motion to get him a bail review. Due to the fact that he was on probation, we had to go in front of the judge that gave him probation. When the hearing finally came up, Brad ended up speaking with the judge prior to the start of the hearing where she told him that she was in no way going to give him a bail and that she’ll hear him out, but he isn’t going anywhere. So, since we couldn’t get a bail, we began working on the case. He was very attentive to any questions or concerns that I had. He made various efforts to talk with witnesses. He called them and even went to a bar he knew that they would be at and was there until around midnight. From very early on in this process, he was talking to the prosecutor to try to influence her to drop the case. He spoke with the prosecutor and she explained to Brad that she was unsure of what she was going to with the case. She asked him to give her two weeks and to then give her a call back. I honestly was thinking he was going to get a decent amount of jail time for this charge because of the severity of it. I met with another lawyer that told me, he was probably going to get ten years in jail. I will never ever forget October 11, 2016. I was at physical therapy and I got a call from Brad, a day earlier than he was supposed to be talking to the prosecutor. Brad said, “Are you sitting down” and I said yes. He explained to me that the prosecutor was dropping the charges completely. I immediately broke down in tears. I was uncontrollably crying and I can’t never even explain the feeling of relief and thankfulness that I felt that day. Brad then moved up the violation of probation hearing and he was able to come home the day of the hearing. I will never be able to repay Brad for what he has done for me and my family. I would recommend everyone to him. We are now currently using Brad for a child custody case.

Dilip Paliath took my grandson case in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Paliath had to drive three hours to attend the court session beginning at 9:00 am. My grandson met with Mr. Paliath before court began. Mr. Paliath ask personal questions and discussed different roles of court persons. My grandson did not understand the concepts of court and Mr. Paliath expressed this concern to the judge. It was determined by the judge that my grandson needed training about court. Mr. Paliath had to return during the winter twice and the case was not settled until June 2016. Through all of this Mr. Paliath kept in contact about each and every court corespondence. Mr. Paliath is both kind and a complete professional. I will call him again!!

Ten years ago, I needed an attorney to handle my separation and divorce. I knew at the time that it was going to be very difficult and tumultuous. I asked around family and friends for recommendations. A neighbor of mine highly recommended Alan Levenstein of Houlan and Berman. She had been through a very complex and contentious divorce and was very happy with the services that Alan had provided. With that, I decided to have Alan represent me. It was a great decision! My situation, like many others, consisted of the opposing party who wanted everything plus more that they could get. Through Alan’s very capable hands, he was able to minimize the financial impact to myself. Alan skillfully negotiated and crafted a settlement agreement that was optimal, safe, fair overall and most important that provided financial protection if my circumstances should change. As time progressed and my circumstances changed, Alan was able to craft and negotiate a modification to the original agreement. Recently, as my circumstances changed again, Alan was able to craft and negotiate a buy-out of my settlement for a very significant amount less than what my full-term payout would have been on the original settlement. Roger Weinberg is not only a compassionate person, he is a highly competent and effective lawyer. We worked with Roger for two years in our case regarding our mother's unfortunate neglect at an assisted living facility. He helped all of us (five children living in various states) stay focused and informed during the course of the lawsuit which eventually led to a trial. Roger was resourceful during every phase of the lawsuit, especially at trial where he defended our case with aplomb. It has been a few years but I first consulted Kaitlyn to help close out a deceased parent's estate. What was expected originally to be a simple process turned into a very lengthy ordeal filled with all types of unexpected legal challenges due to circumstances we didn't expect.
I was so glad I hired Kaitlyn for this. She fought for us every step of the way, helped us avoid expensive issues and liability, and overall gave me the confidence I could at least sleep at night during what was a stressful situation. When everything was finally closed out it was an incredible relief and the outcome she was able to achieve exceeded my expectations more than I could ever expect.

I was charged with first degree assault.
As soon as I came in for my consultation with Carlos I knew I came to the right attorney. Throughout my case he kept me very well informed of the status of my case. He worked very hard to bring my case to a resolution before my hearing. My case went from a felony charge to a minor misdemeanor of disorderly conduct, that was later expunged. I worked with Eric many times in the past and have found him to be acutely familiar with construction issues which is of paramount importance when litigating construction disputes. This is especially important when cross examining experts and fact witnesses. Other attorneys do not know when witnesses are being less than candid; but Eric does. Further, he prepares his witnesses so well that any attacks by the other side are easily handled with ease. On a particluarly difficult litigation, Eric carefully and artfully prepared the case outline and earned a very large award.

I worked with Eric on a couple of construction claim disputes and quickly learned that he is one of the better attorneys in the construction litigation community. He gets knee deep in the details and understands the fine distinction points that are necessary to win the dispute. Further, his cross-examinations (which is where the money is earned) are very well prepared and orchestrated. Eric is a winner, and that really is all that matters.

Mr. Grievell represented me in my case to retrieve a sum of money that a private person, a high-ranking scientist, had siphoned out of my government pension.
My opponent's lawyer was a prestigious, very expensive, experienced attorney, with a strident, confident, commanding demeanor, in and out of the Courtroom. She had won many awards and accolades from her peers, had held several prestigious Bar Association positions, and been ranked as one of the top lawyers in her field, in all of Maryland. She tried to intimidate Adam, but was unsuccessful. He has a backbone of steel.
My opponent lied up to the very end of the process, but we were so well-prepared that we caught the lies and had the documentation to prove it.
We won my case, without deceit, trickery, or smooth talking. My opponent had to pay me back every penny of the money he stole from me.
I am very pleased with Adam's representation in my case. He has integrity.

Let me start by saying that if it had not of been for Doug Coggins, my career and future welfare could very well be jeopardized. A little while ago I got into some trouble with the Montgomery County PD and received some fairly serious criminal traffic charges. I had never been in this situation before and had no idea where to start. I met Doug under the referral of my parents and after my first visit, I immediately began to feel better. He told me that based on my past record which was pretty clean considering what I was facing and my decent sense personal integrity, the outcome of my case had a very good chance of being favorable. However, he made sure that he did not give me a false sense of hope and reminded me that I was always at the mercy of the court and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Sure enough a few weeks later Doug came through ten-fold. After our initial meeting, he met with the states attorney and was able to negotiate a deal which entailed that my more serious charges would be dismissed if I agreed to perform 24 hours of community service. I met with Doug one more time after that to discuss the details regarding my community service and how it affected my charges specifically. Following that meeting we went to court where Doug and the states attorney presented the details of our agreement before the judge and asked for an extension so that I could complete my community service. I kept in touch with Doug via e-mail letting him know when my community service was done, and a few months later we went back to court and essentially sealed the deal. The serious charges were dismissed, and the points were dropped on the less serious ones pending that I paid the fines. Doug's proficiency and courtroom demeanor were impressive to say the least and I hardly had to tell the judge anything which was very reassuring since I knew he was on top of it. I highly recommend Doug Coggins to anyone who finds themselves in a situation where they need professional guidance and someone who has their back.
