We recently hired Bolio & Company to assist us in an Emergency Custody Order. We were nervous, anxious and rushed as this was all happening very quickly. Atty. Tim Fallon was our rock. He was calm, concise and knew exactly what to do. We will forever be grateful for all he did. He talked us through the process and made us feel secure. Even before this happened, we had consulted with Atty. Fallon and Atty. Bolio regarding another issue and he told us exactly what we needed to do to ensure the best outcome. We would have been lost without them. These men are the real deal. They are in the legal business for the right reasons. They want to help good people to make things right. When it came time for my decision to get a divorce I interviewed several lawyers and felt very comfortable with Tim and his Firm, which is especially important considering your about to go over every private detail of your married life. Tim has an incredible ability to absorb every detail that I reviewed with him to create a full understanding of the situation. As things progressed, the pressure increased with my ex attempting to attack our family business that I run and several other angles. Tim was able to take them all in stride, keep me calm and mount the necessary defense on my behalf. With out getting into to many details, my ex spent more than twice what I did and in the end was forced to settle without going to trial. Moving forward Tim has become my company's council in legal matters and collections law firm. I would recommend him to anyone, and feel confident doing so.

Timothy Fallon, Esq. of Bolio & Company in Dedham, MA recently represented me in a complicated civil lawsuit against an unlicensed contractor who did work for me that was of of substandard quality and was ultimately deemed to be dangerous and illegal by the inspectors who I asked to examine it. This was a classic example of a man who presented himself as a licensed, bonded contractor who in fact has no license, no bond, no insurance, does not pull building permits, uses illegal workers and substandard building materials. And, this list represents just some but not all of the never-ending problems I experienced until finally I demanded my money back and that the work be undone. Since the contractor ignored my demand, I sought legal counsel and was referred to Tim Fallon and Jason Bolio by an attorney I know who recommended them to me. From my first meeting with Tim and Jay, I knew I was in very good and talented legal hands. It was clear that they were interested in my situation and in knowing all the facts related to it, were eager to utilize my documentation to support the case they were building, and were patient and diligent throughout the process of preparing the case for presentation to the Court. The result was that Tim and Jay worked as a team both in and outside of the courtroom and complimented each other in every way. It was very clear to me that they were determined to put on the case in an organized, thorough and complete way for both my benefit and that of the various judges who presided over the hearings as well as the final judge who heard the case and determined the punitive damages he believed I was due as a result of the acts and activities, illegal and otherwise, that the contractor caused during the course of the work he did (and never finished) and the ultimate messes (legal and otherwise) that he left behind for me to address after he walked off the job. Tim Fallon is a very smart, well organized and thoughtful attorney who has one goal in mind - representing his client to the very best of his abilities. He more than succeeded on my behalf. He was always fully prepared for whatever the opposing counsel presented and without fail, could present evidence to correct the record and refute their claims. Tim was very respectful of the judges and was able to maintain his focus and the organized presentation of the facts despite the attempts made by opposing counsel to distort them and to denigrate the truth. Like Jay Bolio, Tim was confident of their strategic thinking and their combined abilities to present the case in a meaningful way thus enabling the presiding judges to follow it step by step and to ultimately determine punitive damages commensurate with the problems caused to me by an unscrupulous and unlicensed man. I enjoyed working with both Tim Fallon and Jay Bolio throughout the planning and the presentations of the case and felt very confident that they knew exactly what the case required, how to present it and how to prove the serious wrongs that were done. Thus, a complex case was organized and simplified for the many judges who had to hear it and the ultimate outcome was a very successful one indeed. I very highly recommend both of these attorneys and will turn to them for advice and representation at any time in the future when I feel I need the expertise of two very talented and smart attorneys. I have complete and absolute confidence in both of them.

About a year ago, my wife and I purchased our first home - a new construction condo. When it came time to choose a lawyer for the closing on our side, the builder pushed us towards a specific individual. This made us uneasy, so we did some research and instead chose Michael Khoury. This ended up being a fantastic decision. He went over and above even the highest expectations, combing through every word of the closing documents and having multiple calls to walk us through it. Upon realizing that there were a multitude of portions of the closing documents which were detrimental to our interests, Michael expertly negotiated with the builder to change the language of some of this parts and to completely remove others. In addition, when there was in issue with a portion of the property not meeting the agreed upon specifications, he delayed closing and also obtained a small amount of money for us from the builder as recompense once we realized the issue couldn't be fully corrected. To top it all off, when we had an issue finding care for our dog on the day of the closing, he let us bring her into the office with us! This all doesn't even mention his paralagel, Nancy, who was amazing to deal with - quick to respond to all of our inquiries, extremely nice, and amazingly knowledgeable. I can't recommend using Michael vehemently enough - he is a genuine, hard-working, and knowledgeable attorney who sincerely cares about his clients. If you need a lawyer in his areas of practice, you won't be able to find anyone better!

I am a business man dealing with the public for over fifteen years, and I can honestly that it took me some time within those years to figure out how to keep my customers happy. I can't say I have any experience working with this firm, but I had a problem having to do with a building lien which my attorney (who does not work for Madoff and Khoury LLP) couldn't handle. I needed another more experienced attorney's expertise. After speaking to a member of the staff at this company, they connected me to a gentleman named David Madoff. Mr Madoff, after speaking to me for three minutes asked me to call the attorney I was using before and have him call Madoff & Khoury so David can coach him on what to do. I am amazed and shocked that an attorney would take the time to do such a gracious thing. I believe that any "decent" business can give good service, but it takes a special business (or person representing a business) to shine or go above "decent", and that can only be done when something goes wrong in a transaction, or when there is an emergency. I called Madoff and Khoury because something went wrong with another attorney (out of Boston) which created an emergency situation involving a deadline court date (on a holiday weekend). Mr. Madoff took the time to help me when it wasn't even his problem. I can't be more honored and pleased to be able to witness and experience first hand, within five minutes time such high CHARACTER in any type of business. I'm so glad I made the call.

When it comes to Attorneys, I’ve always gotten the impression that their time was more valuable than mine, and if I wanted actual attention, I was definitely going to be billed accordingly. With attorney Symanski I found the exact opposite. He set a fair price and then charged me exactly that despite how many consultations and changes occurred along the way. He was incredibly sincere and diligent regarding my case, and I also found that he genuinely cared not only about how he did his job, but also about how that performance ultimately resulted in favor of my family and me going forward. Attorney Kaplan has represented me on two seperate matters. Each time he has proved to be an incredible attorney. Both cases turned out in my favor and my record was kept clean. I consulted Sean regarding a multi-party corporate dispute. He was quick to respond and offered to take my case on contingency. He took a chance on my case and worked diligently on it for over a year. Through this time, he was professional, communicative, and efficient. This was my first time working with an attorney, but Sean made it a relatively painless ordeal. I would recommend him and his colleagues to anyone in the Massachusetts or Maine area.

Without question I would recommend Sean Carnathan as a great Attorney and this is why. This is a must read. I went to several different lawyers (before Sean) who told me that because my Dad passed away and left the majority 51% of his Company to my Step Mother that my Sister and I were more or less out of luck and most likely forever in her control. They said there was nothing we could do about it. This was bad news for us because we believed and still do that she was a gold digger. My Sister and I were minority shareholders 49% in the Company. We were asked to leave the Company by my Step Mother only months after my Dads passing. She claimed there wasnt enough money to pay everyone as we believed she was financially draining my Dads Agency. She also claimed things that were false about us and we believed she was slandering our names. I called Sean and he reviewed the entire case from start to finish. I told him what all the other Lawyers said and he replied, well i am not them. At this point I was starting to feel a little hope. We had a Lawyer that was listening to us. He noticed from reading the divorce agreement that my Dad was suppost to have life insurance on his life (with my mom as the beneficiary) until June of his 66th birthday. However he died 6 months before that date and there was no life insurance in force for mom. Sean also reconized that the estate was insolvent and my Step Mothers Attorneys claimed there wasnt any money to be paid to my mom. All the other Lawyers who I spoke to said the same thing.They said the only substancial assett was the Insurance Agency. Then Sean told us if my Dad knew he owed this obligation to my Mom and he knew his death was iminent and still turned over the Agency stock (2 days) before he died to us three then that is a fraudgalent transfer.Another words it was against the law. We had an appraisal on the Agency and discovered the life insurance exceeded that amount therefore my mom was the rightful owner and 100% belong to her if she wanted it. My mom was so excited for us kids (my sister and I) she just couldnt believe it. Sean sat down with my Step Mothers Lawyer and showed him where the problems were with the fraudgalent transfer and how Mom was a creditor of the Estate..Her lawyers reconized they had a MAJOR problem. When all the other lawyers said it couldnt be done....Sean said it could be done and we got it done. Mom has stock in the Agency now and she has already made 3 times what her life insurance claim was. My Sister and I have a great career and were also owners in the business. Its amazing that some Lawyers could so poorly advise you. If we had listened to them we would not be here today. We owe it first to God and then to Sean! YES I recoommend him!!! -Doug

I hired Attorney Carnathan to provide counsel in an out-of-state LLC ownership dispute and my experience with him was exceptional. His knowledge of corporate law, ability to effectively negotiate, and his realistic advice on the probable outcome of the dispute was invaluable throughout the process and probably saved me months of needless wrangling and attorney fees. He promptly answered all telephone calls and emails and provided all necessary documentation to the court and opposing counsel in a timely manner. Although litigation is never a pleasant experience, Attorney Carnathan’s competence and professionalism led to a favorable result for me. Five years ago my company was owed about $2.5 million by a client on a project we built for a high-end restaurant in the Boston area. The bank and the restaurant were pointing fingers at each other and we and our subcontractors were left hanging. In 20 years of as a general contractor my company had never had any issues like this. I was referred to Brad by my accountant. He said Brad was the head of the construction bar in Boston and knew that area of the law as well as anyone. He also said that Brad was reasonable, but very strong. After my first call with Brad, I was immediately put at ease. He understood our issue immediately, developed a strategy to protect us, and gave me an idea of costs and potential risks. Although there were many issues, Brad guided my company through the process. He liened the project, fended off claims by subcontractors, and put us in a position to negotiate a very positive settlement without giving up much of anything. Brad's guidance saved our company. As a member of a Boston-area law school, I was confronted with a sexual harassment allegation made by the Student Body Judiciary committee. I immediately called Brad and asked him to represent me as numerous lawyers referred him. I was so glad I did! I told him my story and he engaged in a thoughtful step by step analysis of the situation. I was to show up in front of our Dean of Judicial affairs, and I was scared. Brad told me that he handled numerous cases like these in the past in the same school, and he knew exactly what to do with my case - his competence immediately assuaged my fears. He told me to be forthright and honest (telling me to admit to what I did in a contrite, sincere manner). I went into the meeting with the judiciary committee prepared, honest, and forthright. Our case dealt with facts spanning over 25 years. Attorney Saloman prepared so thoroughly, he didn't miss a thing. He was the right choice for our defense. He genuinely cared about our business and our families and was more than willing to try our case to clear our name rather than just negotiating a settlement. In court his honest, serious and direct approach, without any grandstanding or exaggeration made it easy for the jury to follow and understand his logic and believe his argument while he exposed the plaintiff's attempt to dodge and manipulate the facts. My review pertains to a recent, 2/17, Professional Liability lawsuit alleging negligence on our part. Attorney Saloman successfully defended our position. Attorney Saloman left no stone unturned in his preparation for our case. He worked diligently to educate and support us for everything from the deposition to the trial. His impressive low-key approach kept us calm so we could concentrate on the important issues and disregard confusing or unnecessary factors. Divorce is never easy. I hired Attorney Straccia after my first attorney was not able to perform as promised. I was skeptical at first because of my past experience. As a result, Attorney Straccia listened to my situation and showed great compassion. I found him to be extremely honest and forthcoming. I explained to him my financial situation as I had paid my previous lawyer a small fortune and had negative results. He assured me that he wouldn't in any way overcharge me and that he would be upfront and honest with the process and all of the incurring expenses. I found him to be true to his word. I received everything that I expected and I am very satisfied with the results. Of course I wish I went to his office in the first place. I would highly recommend Attorney Straccia for his honesty and integrity. I was very impressed by his professionalism and I feel lucky to have had him take my case. I met Michael after my case had gone on for over 5 years and had burnt out my previous attorney. He took my case, got his team working on it, and within less than 2 years, despite a massive opposition from the insurance company, won. Hands down, Attorney Gillis is the attorney you want by your side guiding you. When people ask you "Do you have a Good Attorney" be rest assured that Michael Gillis is THAT good attorney. Michael delivered us from a nightmare of a criminal case that was so unbelievable we were approached by the New York Times to cover the case. In addition, there was very little precedent set, if any, that actually matched the various aspects and moving parts of our case. I have been represented by Mr. Gioia on multiple occasions. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an attorney that they can trust and feel confident in. Mr. Gioia always made himself available to me, taking my phonecalls from jail, and he kept me aprised of any and all updates to my cases. He negotiated everything i asked for, on my behalf, spectacularly. From bail review hearings and conditions, to then putting in motions, and eventually the plea deals I ended up accepting. I couldn't have asked for anything more. When you are being charged with crimes that carry significant sentences, you don't need the added stress of having ineffective council, and I had a really good feeling about Mr. Gioia's abilities right from the beginning, and he really came through for me every single time.

Patrick Gioia went above and beyond to assure that I got the best legal service humanly possible. From researching supreme court cases that could assist in my defense to checking in on me in between court dates to giving me a dress shirt to look more presentable in court Patrick made sure I had the best chance I could at getting all my charges dropped and this enormous effort on his part ammounted in just so. He was even able to get my negligent operation charge dropped that I received along with my OUI charge, something that is very hard to do due to the vague wording of the offense making many driving scenarios fit under its description. Patrick was very well spoken in every single one of my court cases and took the time to prepare written statements and memorize then to the dot. On top of this Patrick did this all pro bono, as he was court appointed to me, demonstrating that he was very dedicated to his work. Additionally Patrick was always 100% honest with me and explained to me thoroughly every option I had before each of my court appearances so that I knew my choices, and he always allowed me to ultimately pick the course of action taken but never without making sure I was 100% up to speed. Overall I was very happy and lucky to have had Patrick as my lawyer and I would definitely seek his legal counsel again if I was ever to be charged with another crime, even if were to cost me a substantial fee. I highly recommend his counsel to anyone seeking legal advice or representation.
