Michael Shilinski is a very helpful and knowledgeable person to help people make the tough decisions about what to do about making those hard choices that are involved with writing your will. As a young couple, we felt he was helpful and not pushy at all. We later sent older family members to him and they had equally wonderful experiences. Recently, when my father in law passed, he was so responsive via email getting us the forms we needed electronically within 15 minutes. My experience with Zackary Meyer was incredible. He made me feel comfortable in explaining my litigation matter that had been going on for over 5 years. You can’t imagine the frustration I’ve been dealing with for that long period of time. I explained my side of the story as he reviewed my case and he understood exactly what was going on and agreed to take my case. He also explained to me he didn’t offer any promises or guarantee on the outcome but he said he would do his very best.
When this firm offers to do their best “look out” because that is exactly what you will get. I had an urgent legal matter that needed immediate attention. Without any delay whatsoever, on the day of the issue arising, Russ was able to strategize on the correct actions providing multiple options, and we selected the optimal strategy moving forward in order to deal with the problem. I was terminated by my employer and I thought I had a case. I was either ignored or turned away because of "conflicts of interest." Russell came by way of a referral from a Labor Rights website and I am so grateful. He really looked into my case and listened to me. When Russ believes in something, he's passionate about it. I don't know anything about law and he made sure to explain each phase and had multiple courses of actions so I always knew all my options and was fully involved in each decision. At first, I was so worried. My employer had a team of legal professionals and a lot of money to pour into litigation and I definitely do not. Russ was a one man army and handled each interaction with tact and grace. In the end, we won the claim and I know it was all due to 2 things; the truth and Russ. Mr. Gross has worked on my case for approximately three and a half years. I have to say that this experienced lawyer has chutzpah and would transform into a shark if he has to. There were obstacles but he has done extremely well in overcoming them. He helped me get a huge settlement. In so many words Mr Gross is a damn good lawyer. I would give him ten stars if the rating existed.
His staff is excellent and will call you within a few hours if not sooner. I would not hesitate to hire him again and/or recommend him in need of a good lawyer regarding accidents and personal injury.

If you need a QDRO or DRO (for divorce) this is the lawyer you need to use!!! She is the nicest, fairest most decent lawyer I have dealt with and unfortunately I have had experience with three divorce lawyers for one divorce from HELL. She is very competent and knows her stuff. I wish I could have hired her as my first divorce lawyer. Anyway, I was able to have her fix the DRO even though she's in Ithaca and I'm in the Hudson Valley! We did everything over the phone/ email. So don't let distance sway you. If you have a New York State Retirement or 401k and are getting divorced you need to call her. Don't let your divorce lawyer handle the QDRO because they could screw it up like mine did. Use an expert like Carla.
