Jonathan Corey was a great divorce lawyer to have on my side. I went through a tough divorce, was dealing with a large marital estate and a long term marriage. I was really worried about all of the complexities of our estate dealing with real estate, stocks, retirement accounts, precious metals, etc., not to mention children and all of the other things that have to be dealt with. Absolutely the best! I had lost my disability and an appeal. Insurance companies are NOT your friends and they will do everything they can to keep you from money you are entitled to! Roy Law came in and fixed it all. They really know what they are doing! A special shout out to Kali! She not only dealt with the insurance company but also kept me from going crazy over me having had to deal with them (I really was desperate and knew that I was probably out of luck!) She also made the yearly recertification a breeze (for me at least. It was a LOT of work I initially thought I was going to have to do, but she took care of all of it!) I cannot think of a way they could have made the experience better (except for me to hire them earlier and save myself a TON of aggravation and anxiety!!!) Thanks for all the help and hard work! It is very much appreciated!

I was very concerned when I first applied to Roy Law Group, and to be honest scared. I had paid for short term disability and long term disability and was denied through my insurers even though I was diagnosed with Cancer! To my surprise, the people at Roy Law group: Chris, Mallory and Holly, were all so professional but what surprised me was they cared. They took time to get to know me, ask me the tough questions. They researched why I was denied and then fought for my appeal. When I opted to call Dave about a real estate transaction that I was being sued over, I never knew how fortunate I was in making that call. What should have been an easy matter to resolve turned into a 2.5 year battle - all because of the unprofessional behavior of the opposing council. I knew very little about the civil litigation process and statutes that govern them. Dave was very patient with me and made sure I understood along the way what to expect and the options I had at each decision point. In this way, he was a coach and trusted teammate. I could always depend on Dave to communicate quickly and openly everything that was going on between him and the opposing counsel. When I would ask for his opinion I could expect a calming voice on the phone often talking me off the ledge as I would catastrophize the situation. His advice was invaluable. These were the “soft” skills that Dave brings to the practice. Things that maybe you wouldn’t consider in choosing a lawyer. He presents himself as the neighbor next door and has a wide range of contacts and resources to draw upon. In addition to his personal style, Dave is an excellent lawyer and his years of experience shine in his knowledge of the law and the steps that need to be taken at each point in the case. In the end, we won the case without having to go to trial. But I had total confidence that if we would have gone to trial, we would have prevailed because of Dave’s preparation and full understanding of the case and the approach he would have taken. What could have turned into a financially ruinous situation for me turned into a windfall with a partial return of money that I had spent defending myself. DO NOT HESITATE TO MAKE THE CALL if you find yourself in need of a responsible lawyer that you can trust and depend on to represent you fairly and when necessary aggressively.

David was accessable when I needed a question answered by phone, email and text. And when busy, he always got back to me in a reasonable time. I was very comfortable that he was looking after my best interests during the process. David was not as aggressive as other lawyers, which in a high conflict divorce might be necessary...However, I found him very personable and easy to work with during a time of great stress for me. I will continue to use David in any follow up and would definitely consider using David in another area of the law in the future.

I attempted four times, to get my case herd. Spoke with first lady that was headed off to vacation. She let me no that she will pass my message off to lady on the next Monday. Asking a few times if it made since, if she got enough info for me to have to wait three days for someone to contact me.. Never happened..I called again, this lady didn't see the notes taken, asked me to explain.. once again as I am in need of help, says I'll call you tomorrow, never did. I call again, an tried connecting online twice at this point.. Fourth call I have to explain situation to be relayed to someone who might have time to hear her as soon as he was free to do so, to expect a call in morning if not that day. Don't not hear a word back as I truly needed the direction or even a simple no but maybe try this person. Kinda made me feel unjusted as I still do, still can't seem to say the right words to have a lawyer call me back for a true consultation. By the reviews I see a great group of people ... I just need a direction please
