Ted did an amazing job staying on top of my case and staying in contact with me. Not one time did he BS me about the specifics of my case. I was referred to Mr. Shaw in 2005 and retained him to represent both my company and me in a breach of contract / deceptive trade practices lawsuit in District Court in San Antonio, Texas. I hired Mr Farwell about 8 years ago to try and help me recoup the great loss I incurred as a result of a home builder who did not complete my home as contracted ... Mr Farwell easily won my case against the builder, and a large judgment was awarded .... but capturing the funds awarded by the judgment would be the hard part ... Mr Farwell provided great advice and took the steps necessary to help make sure we did as much as prudently possible to secure the funds at some point in the future ... That future occurred today, when I received a settlement check to recoup what I had lost plus a fair amount of interest .... a result of the wise steps Mr Farwell took 8 years ago to secure the judgment proceeds ... I consulted with Mr. Nash on an intellectual property matter. He was very informative and went out of his way to make sure we / he had covered very avenue to help me. Then when he found out I was an artist, and had a business painting ceiling murals for children's hospitals as well as fine art, he told me so much on how to protect my art. We are a top fortune 500 company and have retained the services of Troy Glander for over four years. He has handled nearly 200 large exposure property/facilities damage matters for our company. After internal attempts to resolve these claims were exhausted these claims were referred to him to pursue seeking reimbursement from third parties who had caused the damage. His incredibly hard work in establishing a strong factual foundation along with effective communication with the adverse parties allowed for favorably resolving over 85 percent of these matters prior to instituting litigation. His attention to detail and in depth understanding of the background and events associated with each claim contributed to these pre-litigation settlements. The cost savings realized by not having to bring suit were very considerable. Since 1997, my brothers and I have owned a series of companies ranging from a Texas licensed Retail Electric Provider (current), Texas licensed Wireless Telecom Provider (current), and Texas real estate investment company (current) among many other business through the years. We have had a relationship with Elliott and the folks at his firm since 2000. Elliott is a very trustworthy attorney and his team of associates always give us very sound advice. Through the years, we have had to file suits against others for wrong doings, which is never a task I recommend taking on unless one must with not other choice left. With that said, the team led by Elliott have never let us down. We as a business act ethically, but nevertheless have had some run ins with unethical people. Through the help of Elliott and his firm, we have been able to prevail through all of these situations with acceptable outcomes. More importantly, the team of lawyers have been able to give us sound advice along the way that allowed us to shape our businesses and not repeat past mistakes in business. Having been an employee of Mr. Leach for slightly more than a year at this writing I can attest to his sense of responsibility to "do the right thing" by his clients. I see it from the insiders viewpoint. (Note: He is not aware that I am writing and is not the type to give a raise due to something like this or favor me for anything I say.....so I have no financial gains or incentives to be had in writing, other than a desire to express the truth when I saw that I am given this opportunity). Over the course of a 40 year career, I have associated with hundreds of attorneys thru a former business. I'm met some very impressive attorneys and I count Mr. Leach as being an exceptional attorney amongst that number. His trial preparation is superb, I am aware that he is often consulted by other attorneys, and I personally admire and respect him for his character and high degree of integrity.
