Brian Walters expertly guided me through a multi-year custody case that was only resolved after a week-long jury trial was held. At trial, Brian was uniquely able to convey empathy towards the other parent while still delivering the hard facts of the case. I believe this resonated with the jury as they were being asked to make a decision that reflected the best interests of the child and not the best interests of either parent. In my personal case, and I suspect in most custody cases, it is easy to demonize the other parent for what they did to you and how their actions are continuing to hurt your parent-child relationship. From my perspective, this is why it is invaluable to retain a legal team that is emotionally intelligent in how they present the facts of the case. Brian was incredibly adaptive when speaking with witnesses and able to effectively anticipate and respond to comments from opposing counsel. Brian unquestionably focused and presented on the best interests of the child and I am beyond grateful to have been able to work with him and his firm.

My FIRST encounter with this firm was wonderful. I was treated with respect, dignity, and a humane kindness that I will never forget. Because of this positive experience, I relied on Joyner again- this time, to help with a relatively simple case.
The difference was night and day. It was a drug charge, and I was treated like a second class citizen. Joyner did NOT advocate on my behalf, but skeptically waved me through the motions, fully expecting me to fail an on-the-spot drug test. Mr. Joyner had no faith in my word- and when your own attorney doesn't believe in you, that hardly inspires confidence in the judge. Sitting through court that day, I truly felt like I was defending myself from not just the prosecution, but my own attorney as well.
If you need defense for a white collar, "high class" crime, or even a simple ticket, Joyner may be just fine, but if you need someone to stand in your corner and fight for YOU, regardless of circumstance, you'd better keep looking.

Since first hiring Joyner+Joyner a few years ago, I have had nothing but positive results from them; no points on my license and I never had to appear in court for any of my troubles in Texas. I was able to fight off two heavy handed "speeding" tickets, and a entirely inaccurate "mobile device use" ticket. The truth is folks, hiring a lawyer for these frivolous money making schemes known as "traffic violations" should always be done as I would rather pay a lawyer to keep my perfect driving record and the points off my license and the inevitable higher insurance rates these stops can cause over time. The fact is, most of these traffic violations cops claim can and should be fought. Don't let the heavy handed/oppressive nature of those sworn to "serve and protect" cause you to bend to their will. They truly do not have much power when it comes to most legal matters, especially traffic tickets. They want you to not hire a lawyer because that makes their job easier and their ability to collect more money very simple. That's all traffic tickets are meant to do. Although there are many traffic ticket firms out there, only few who are a cut above the rest. I believe Joyner+Joyner fit that description nicely and I would also highly recommend Mr. Joyner and his firm as they have never let me down. Thank you guys!
