Antony has represented me for the past two years in several matters including: employment matters, regaining my license after losing my license from too many tickets and he was able to get my full (non-restricted) driving privileges back. I was told it was impossible by everyone, but he found a way to get me an emergency meeting and we wrote out a declaration and went fully prepared and the DMV liaison was impressed that he gave me my full unrestricted driving privileges back!
He went above and beyond and helped me lock in an interview at my dream job which ended up hiring me. He has taken on several roles and not the typical attorney I have dealt with in the past. I also referred an acquaintance I knew for a 2nd DUI and he explained everything to her in detail every step of the way and took all the stress off her back.
Antony has become invaluable to me. His specialized area of practice is employment and civil matters and he is extremely down-to-earth and a natural at what he does. Attorney Stormoen is one of the smartest attorneys I know. I have watched him spot issues and solve major problems instantaneously. It's amazing and the one thing you want when it comes to dealing with legal transactions. The other thing about Attorney Stormoen is he is literally mesmerizing at trial. He is so articulate when he explains the law yet so passionate when he draws out the facts to bring some emotion into the case for the jury. We hired Ron Stormoen to help in a lawsuit in which my previous employers of 30 years were essentially trying to seize our retirement by reneging on the ownership they promised us early in the relationship. It was extremely important to us to receive justice and this money we had earned over our careers. Ron had faith in us and took our case. He smartly and successfully litigated our case and the jury found 12-0 verdicts in our favor on almost all questions. We won both the breach of contract cause of action as well as the intentional misrepresentation fraud case. I wish this had never turned into a lawsuit, but in the end I was extremely satisfied with the results. In addition, all throughout the case, Ron showed integrity and a commitment to the truth – he never was deceitful and played by the rules. While it is extremely satisfying to win, it is even better to do so without compromising ones’ ethics. I would hire Ron again (although I hope I never have to.) Good luck in your pursuit for justice!

I was referred to Jared A Roark from a friend. I was in dire need of an estate planning attorney to help me with the sale of my mother's house, which was documentation in her trust but the correct paperwork was never filed to transfer the deed into the trust. The day I called Mr. Roark, he was on it and told me exactly what needed to be done and what he needed from me. We were able to file the petition to transfer the deed to my mom's house to my name as the Trustee, per the trust's original instructions.

I had a very difficult case, though I am sure they all are, and had a consult with Tara Burd. Tara was the third lawyer I interviewed, and although ultimately the case was settled a different way than with attorney's, I would have hired her over all the others. I was impressed with the meeting as Ms. Burd addressed issues that were overlooked by the other attorneys. I unfortunately have had to hire many lawyers for different business reasons over the last few years. Tara was most impressive. I thought investing in bullion might be a good idea given the recent upheavals in the stock market. I made a verbal contract to buy gold bullion from an online dealer. However after researching the company and finding some very alarming reviews, I no longer had the confidence to invest in them. this past year we had a circumstance that required an Attorney that handles Estate issues. A family member had removed a property from an irrevocable trust which incurred major tax implications. Darcie, who was refereed by a friend, was so, helpful understanding, thorough and timely! She is organized, extremely thoughtful, and exhausted every avenue in efforts to help us come to a solution, which at first we thought could be possible. in addition to Darcie being a pleasure to work with in a situation that was not ideal, she went above and beyond to lay out the implications each action we in tale. I was involved in a car accident on Friday the 13th. I was the typical case of a person who ignored the pain and wanted to move on. I made the mistake (now a blessing) of telling my brother what happened. He immediately demanded that I call his Attorney, Christine McCoy. He wouldn't let me say no. So I reluctantly called Christine and two days later met at a Starbucks. She was very understanding of my wish to not be a burden on the other party, and that I only wanted to do what was best for me. Christine was extremely knowledgeable of all the circumstances involved, and assured me that everything will be taken care of. She had told me that she would get my case settled within 6 to 8 months and that life would return to normal. To make a long story short, my case was solved in 8 months, and life is back to where it was before I was involved in an accident. Christine provided me with the utmost professional and sincere help anyone could ask for. When suffering injuries after an accident, the last thing you want to worry about is if you will be able to find a decent lawyer that will take care of you; not their pocketbook. You can’t find a more caring lawyer than Natalie Prescott. In court she comforted me and even held my hand to get me through, yet she was tough and competent and won my case. I could not have asked for more, you don’t usually get a nice person and a great case winning lawyer in one package. She made the experience of going to court and getting interrogated by the opposing side (which I had been dreading) completely tolerable. We can’t say enough great things about Marc Witham. He is professional, responsive, and has excellent follow-through. Most important, he is highly knowledgeable of California state rental laws so he’s well qualified to put landlords in their place.
In our case, my wife and I had lived in a rental house for seven years and always had a good relationship with the landlord. Due to an undiscovered water leak, the wood floors in the house began to heave and buckle over the course of a month. The landlord’s handyman removed a section of flooring and we observed white mold covering the dirt crawl space. The entire floor needed to be removed and the mold remediated. Rather than work with us to temporarily move out, the landlord sent us an email stating she had no choice but to evict us.
We’re certain the true reason she evicted us was to substantially increase the rent. The effect on us was that we were pushed into a highly inflated San Diego rental market, with rents at 30% and higher than what we’d been paying. Panic set in the moment we received the 60-day notice.
When we were evicted, our stress levels reached boiling point as our landlord kept calling us daily to find out when we’d be moving. We needed help right away. Marc’s online appointment system let us set up an initial consultation (we were able to schedule a call the very next morning). As residential tenants, it cost us $160 for our first call. That may seem like a lot, but the waves of relief we felt afterward made it well worth the money.
It’s the relief from stress that we appreciated most. What we really needed was enough time to find a new rental. On that first call, after hearing our situation Marc was immediately able to cite a state code section that granted us far longer than the landlord’s 60-day notice. He also advised that her notice wouldn’t hold up because it wasn’t properly formatted or delivered. It was clear we were working with the right attorney for the job.
Our rental situation dragged on for over two months, and we spent just under $1,000 in attorney fees. It was worth every cent. Marc initially issued a detailed letter, filled with legal citations specific to our case (i.e., not a form letter), that pushed back on the landlord. When she kept calling us, which we considered harassment at that point, Marc intervened again and asserted he was now acting as our voice, stating all communications needed to go through him. Words can’t express the relief we felt.
Not only did Marc get us the time we needed to find a new place, he also helped negotiate an equitable settlement so we could recoup expenses we’d suffered. We’re not talking millions here, but it was enough to ease the pain and cover our moving costs.
If you’re in a bind with your landlord, I would highly suggest Marc’s services. My wife and I remain confident that hiring Marc was the smartest move we possibly could have done. – Kurt S.

It is amazing how quickly Bill can sift through all of information involved with a case and hone in on the salient points to reach accurate conclusions and devise a plan of action. One of the things I appreciate the most is that he takes time to explain the issues and points of law and how they apply to the case. It is a great example of why attorneys are often referred to as counselors.

Bill was the litigator for an ERISA plan , in which the former trustees had breached their fiduciary duties. Bill's performance in this role was outstanding because he was always extremely prepared and immediately responsive during the trial. For example one witness and one defendant testified falsely and Bill immediately referred them to admitted trial documents which proved their testimony was false. The defendant who testified falsely admitted his previous statement was "probably wrong". The judge in Federal Court ultimately ruled in our favor on the main issue in the case. A very important fact upon which he based this ruling was that this defendant's testimony was not true and this led the judge to rule in our favor on this primary issue.

I hired Melody 4 years ago to represent me in a Civil lawsuit. Having just had my first experience as a plaintiff in a courtroom trial, I found it incredibly gut-wrenching and stressful to say the least. At no other point in my life did I have so much at risk: my career, my reputation, a large sum of money and the integrity of our HOA were all on the line (the HOA is the mountain town of Lake Arrowhead which consists of nearly 10,000 properties). This was a huge event for any individual, and I could think of no other professional to have on my side than Greg Garrison.
I had interviewed several attorneys prior to Greg. Some said I didn’t have a case and others were off base on their analysis of the matter. Greg’s acumen for the law and his processing of the evidence is amazing. His ability to effectively communicate with others, whether it be a witness off the street or a judge on the bench, makes him second to none. Additionally, his passion for the profession and dedication to his clients will show the very first time you meet him. Finally, Greg’s trial preparation was efficient and methodical, and his grasp of technology allows him to maneuver much faster than other attorneys who are heavily dependent on staff and their schedules.
The final and most important consideration you must take into account is the irony of a judicial trial - having the truth on your side does not guarantee victory. We did have the facts on our side, but we were up against a formidable team of three pit bull attorneys that did a superb job of attempting to confuse the judge and obfuscate the facts. At the end of the first day of trial, the judge had been confused after hearing from both sides, as the main piece of evidence of our case was a set of complicated bylaws. However, on the second and final day of trial, Greg’s ability to convey the message in a simple and charismatic fashion to the judge secured our victory.
I believe no other attorney(s) could reproduce the victory that Greg accomplished. By saying this, I mean that even if another attorney could have won the case, the cost would have been far greater because of the voluminous amounts of material that had to be synthesized for the trial. Simply put – you can’t afford NOT to have him. I give Greg the highest recommendation possible and suggest that you retain him before your opposition does!
