I utilized Mr. Obed's services to help with an eviction. Getting results required very little of my time--simply an initial phone call to explain the situation and an email with the required documentation. Adam Carroll recently represented me on a probation violation in Chesapeake he was recommended to me by a lawyer that i usually use . This was my second violation in which I violated condition 1 and 8 . Condition 1 is the worst one to violate it means i brought back a charge. 7Mr Carroll researched my case meticulously and fought very hard for me on court. Long story short I ended up doing just 56 days in jail my guidelines on just the condition 8 were 6 to 12 months .... If any body knows Chesapeake the are very hard on violations!!!! I was charged with reckless driving for going 87 in a 70. Despite my prior speeding ticket, Mr. Taylor reassured me that we had a fighting chance after many lawyers that I spoked with told me I had no chance. I had a ticket for reckless driving (rockbridge). After listening my case , Mr Taylor made a perfect assessment w/o false expectation nor overstatement. After enduring 8 months of extreme job stress and a forced resignation, I sought Ms. Bertini's advice and counseling on how to proceed. I originally called Mr. Bohannon's office related to a non-compliance charge against my husband for interlock violation. We previously worked with another attorney but because the attorney was also friends with the judge and court employees in a small town, time and effort did not seem to be taken for fair evaluation of my husband's case and the attorney did not seem to address certain issues with the judge on behalf of clients due to his personal conflict of interest. My husband was not under court order for interlock but instead in a voluntary program. Thus, these charges should never have been filed. I searched for an attorney outside of the usual local group and located Mr. Bohannon. I called on a Sunday to leave a message as I needed representation ASAP and actually got a call back that very day! I was impressed with his communication skills, empathy for both myself and husband, and prompt response. I was able to schedule an in person meeting within a couple of days. At that meeting, he dedicated uninterrupted time to my husband's case, explaining what the possible scenarios might be in court and how he would handle each one, as needed. He worked diligently on my husband's behalf to keep him from spending time in jail, away from work and family, understanding that he was in a voluntary program. He was not afraid to discuss that my husband was not actually under court supervision and thus non-compliance charges were not appropriate. He began working with the DA before even entering the courtroom, ensuring that court proceedings went smoothly. Attorneys should do the job that they are hired to do, regardless of their relationships with court employees in the community and with Mr. Bohannon, it was clear that he took his job seriously and worked to get the best results for his client. If you do not have trust and rapport with your attorney, you are less likely to have success and Mr. Bohannon established both of these immediately and continued to exemplify this professionalism throughout the process.

I was charged with a show cause for breaking a peace bond. I honestly had no idea what I had done to break the complainant's peace since I purposely had nothing to do with her and I had moved over 100 days after she made the complaint. Jason took my case and worked diligently to discover the reason. He found that the reason was unjustified. In court, Jason discredited the complainant and found that everything she said was untrue and the case was dismissed. Jason was very understanding of my mental state as I dealt with this trying time. He was compassionate and he and his team reassured me often that I had nothing to worry about. He definitely proved in court that justice and honesty always wins. I was told to get a lawyer by three staffs of the county jail house because of the severity of my case. I researched through the internet and came across a few but the moment i spoke to Andrew i knew he was the man who could get me out of my troubles
He was very professional from the first day i called him to represent me in a case to the last day of my trial. He kept on encouraging me to hold and and fight the case, he told me he was ready to fight my case to my satisfaction. Even though it took more than a year, he kept encouraging me to hold on.
He advised me not to rush to accept anything the DA throws at me just because i was desperate. True to his words, he was able to get the case reduced substantially. l was facing jail time, 12 months suspension of driving privileges, $2500 court fines and a whole lot of other things. He was able to beat the case to just $250 court fines.
Even when the case was pending in court for more than a year, he kept on checking on me to see how i was doing.
He is a good man and very professional

I called a local law firm to see if they would take my case and they no longer practiced family law. They recommended Mr Schempf and I'm glad they did. She will go above and beyond to get the best results. She will work with you and with prosecutor to get the best deal possible.
And if prosecutor is not willing to work with you, she will find the way to get things accomplished anyway. She prevented my marriage, 10 years professional career and personal situation from being ruined.
From supposly not defendable case ( according to lawyers),she made things happen that let me came out without any serious damage, and let me continue my professional career and future professional progress to be attainable.

My 2012 VW GTIs engine blew after a timing chain failure, and I was extremely worried that I was going to have to spend over $7,000 getting it fixed. Instead, I made the extremely intelligent decision of reaching out to Mr. Webster after reading a positive review of his services in an online forum. Although my GTI was not covered under warranty or included in the class-action lawsuit, Mr. Webster was able to negotiate a settlement with VW for 100% of the cost of the engine replacement, plus reimbursement for towing and other service expenses. It took a couple of weeks for everything to happen, but I am extremely grateful to him and his team. He may be a wizard of sorts.

When the timing chain malfunctioned on my 2011 VW Tiguan, the engine needed to be replaced at a cost of almost $6000, There were no warning signs at all. I wanted to see if there were any class action lawsuits for this issue so I googled VW timing chain lawsuits and found Steven Webster's website.

I contacted Jose when he worked for another firm a couple years ago. He understood the dire and time sensitive situation I was in. He was honest and up front with me that taking my case on such short notice, while he would do his best, he cannot commit as many resources as he would like given the short turn around time and the other cases on his plate. Having said that, he said he would take my case, but just wanted me to be aware that he might not be able to do the job 100% like he would normally do. But he also referred me to another disability lawyer in case I wanted someone who could dedicate more time to my case.
Ultimately, I chose to go with the other lawyer he referred me to because I wanted a lawyer who could dedicate his full attention to my case. And I successfully won my disability appeal. So it is clear that Jose had no ego in referring me to another very good lawyer.
I really appreciated Jose's honesty and up front nature. And the amount of time he spent helping me even though he got nothing out of it.

I am 53 and have suffered back issues and surgeries for 24 years. I am at the point in life where I can't take much more day to day pain. In researching about long term disability I realized this is not a "game" the average person should play alone. Honestly I did not want to spend money as I have spent thousands on medical bills this year alone. Mr. Caballe made me feel comfortable from the start of the conversation. It was encouraged that my wife participate and he included her throughout the conversation. He pointed out so many areas that I never would have thought about or considered regarding the process of filing and collection LTD. How Social Security most likely will become part of the process and the fact that I do not have to totally stop living to be considered disabled, and ways to handle that. I consulted with several lawyers regarding a defamation case filed against me, and Lee was the only one to throughly read and understand my case for the consultation. An individual with a history of physiological issues; well-beknown to us; suddenly decided without cause to take to online websites and commit several acts of harassment, libel, slander, and defamation of several of our family members and their businesses. This individual shamelessly created countless fake online personas and launched a smear-campaign to hurt us with no provocation from us whatsoever.
I hired Lee Berlik and his partners to assist us with this complicated case spanning multiple states clear across the country and ultimately requiring filing of a lawsuit in US Federal court. Lee and his partners thwarted this individual's several failed attempts to evade process servers and brought the individual to justice. Joan Fine has been my lawyer since 2015. She has represented me on several issues. She represented me in legal action against a fraudulent building contractor with an outcome as good as possible under the circumstances. She has done real estate contracts and lease agreement work with me and I have been very pleased with the results. She saved my bacon on a 1031 exchange that would have gone wrong had she not double checked the work of the out of state attorney that handled the exchange in the other state.

I was unprepared when my loving wife of 44-years became terminally afflicted with metastasized brain cancer in January 2017. For the next 14-months I was her primary caregiver. We were both only focused of her recovery and never considered whether her 28-year-old hand-written Last Will and Testament from South Carolina, would be accepted in Virginia.
When my wife died in February 2018, it was hard enough to deal with my loss but, this problem was made considerably worse when the Virginia Circuit Court would not accept her Will. I was informed that her death would need to be filed Intestate (without a Will) in accordance with Virginia State Law. I also had credit problems, so I was unable to secure a bond from a Bonding Agency to secure my wife's Estate and, therefore did not have the ability to receive payment from her Life Insurance policy.
After talking with one Law Firm who wanted a retainer of $2500 to litigate my case, I continued to search for another attorney. I was referred to a Winchester attorney, Joan Fine, who wasted no time investigating my wife's Will at the Courthouse and resolved my legal matters in less than 3-days. I was greatly relieved to be named Executor to my wife's Estate without need of a Bonding Agency, and Joan Fine only minimally charged me for her actual time of 1-hour.

Elizabeth was a terrific attorney for my divorce. She listened to my concerns, addressed every one of them, she answered emails promptly and ensured I saw drafts in a timely fashion. We were so fortunate to find Charles Homiller down in Virgina to help our son (going to school there) with a speeding/traffic ticket. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances (some of them admittedly our son's fault), Charles was able to take our case and remove a misdemeanor charge from our son's record.
