When my teenaged son became the victim of a vicious hit-and-run attack, we were busy dealing with the medical and criminal aftermath. But we also needed help on the civil side to get some financial relief. Ben was highly recommended by a dear friend as the best in this field, and we were lucky to have him on our side.
He immediately came to visit us in person and explained the whole process. Over time, there were several unexpected twists and turns in the case involving out-of-network medical costs, the attacker's auto insurance, and our own insurance. Ben patiently explained the implications of all of this as it unfolded and made sure that we were clear on everything. He handled the day to day details so we could focus on my son's recovery, but always kept us informed. He made himself available by text, phone, and email at all hours.

From the start Parris was the best! She was very kind, clear with her communications, expectations, etc. and made me feel comfortable with the whole prenup process. She explained the process thoroughly in terms that I could understand. I'm a nurse so the legal jargon is like a foreign language to me. After consulting 3-5 different lawyers, I decided to go with Parris and it was the best decision I could have made. Not only is she amazing as described above but she was anywhere from 2-3 times cheaper than other prenup or family law lawyers. If you're looking for a prenup lawyer or anything that has to do with family law, look no further than Parris, I promise you, you won't regret it!

I’ve worked with dozens of attorneys at this point in my life and can very quickly identify the ones who know what they’re doing and the ones that need to go back to law school and retake the bar.
Paris is one of the best I’ve worked with among them! She very quickly knew off the top of her head laws and standards other lawyers would have to look up and bill a bunch of their time trying to figure out.

I was fortunate to work with Parris. In my divorce she was my 3rd attorney, so I had a chance to see how other attorneys could or could not handle my case, perform, and act upon my instructions in my best interests.
It was my first ever divorce and I did not know what to expect from the process or how the system worked.
My first attorney did not have a right to attend the court.
My second attorney seemed to be just interested in more money, with little to no help for me. He also was an expensive embarrassment in court.
So, when Parris agreed to take my case on, I was skeptical of the outcome. It ended up being best decision I could have made.
Parris is a true professional. She knows what to say and when not to say anything. She is fluid and well versed with legal procedure and the system. She dealt with the opposing council graciously, timely, and meticulously.
In court she was supportive to me and calm, with a professional and friendly attitude towards the opposing council and the judge.
The other side, despite a 3.5-year divorce process, was not well prepared. This cost them every point and detail that Parris was prepared for.
I wish there were more attorneys like Parris. She was a truly precious find for me and I am forever grateful!

Unfortunately had to go through a divorce and had to find a lawyer. When I met Ester she was very kind, listened to my story and gave me most of my options I could proceed with going forward. I wasn’t rushed or hurried in our initial meeting like I had been with other lawyers who wanted large sums just to talk with me for a short period of time and not very helpful with information. As we went through the process of the divorce she kept my emotions in check but did not dismiss them, which was nice knowing she understood where I was coming from, but guided me on the best path to pursue. But when it became apparent that we would have to be aggressive in our actions she definitely was up to it. Trust me when I say she will go toe to toe with any lawyer and will not be bullied around. Whatever you need or want to do she will tell you if it’s good or not then move forward with a plan. I can’t speak highly enough of her and how she helped me through one of the toughest periods of my life. When I first called this law office and set up my initial consultation with Michael Peterson for my pending divorce, I was impressed with how professional and straight-to-the-point he was. He asked all of the necessary questions and summarized my situation very quickly. His assistant, Jordyn, was also very efficient with scheduling and ensuring they got me in quickly whenever it was needed. I then hired Michael to help me draft a divorce agreement (i.e. settlement offer). We worked together, in person, to think through all of the angles and ensure that my interests were protected. Michael was very realistic, reasonable, articulate, and easy to work with. As much as I thought working with a lawyer might be a miserable experience, I actually enjoyed hanging out in Michael's office and working with him. In the end, I felt that I received solid guidance from Michael throughout the entire process of the divorce and felt confident, despite all of the uncertainties and "what ifs", that he had helped me get through the divorce as quickly and smoothly as possible. He also made phone calls to other experts / consultants / lawyers for advice related to real estate law, since my divorce involved some complicated issues regarding a home my ex wife and I owned together. Compared with other local attorneys - some of whom wanted over $7,000 right at the start - this law office was extremely reasonable with their rates, billing by the hour with full transparency and printed breakdowns along the way. Even after the divorce paperwork has been all signed off and completed, Michael has continued to help answer my questions as they arise. April and Melissa were very professional from start to finish. April was my last attorney of many unprofessional and unethical attorneys in a long divorce. I did not work with her very long, however she was great the whole time. She was understanding to my Financial situation, and my needs. Words cannot express the gratitude, the heartfelt obligation she provided for me during my fight for justice. She is the best.
I was wrongly accused of a violation of the law that I did not commit.
I was extremely emotional, I dealt with anxiety and panic attacks. She did not judge me, she comforted although I was having emotional breakdowns. I was able to rely on her judgements, her sincerity and her efforts to fight.
She reassured me my fight was her fight, and even helped me breathe though when I felt like I was an emotional wreck.

Anyone who rents in the Monterey area can appreciate the cost of renting and with that comes high deposits. Its really important to know what you are getting into when you sign a lease. I cant say enough about Mr. Daunt. He helped me on a residential lease that went wrong. He knows the laws and was able to guide me in the right direction. Reached out to Jennifer needing assistance with commission/monies owed and a potential Work Visa issue due to a contract not being honoured, very combative firm/management.

A friend of mine referred Jenny to me prior to my termination. When I was abruptly terminated, Jenny called my employer immediately to let them know I was already represented by council even though she had a deposition to go to that day. She made time for me when I needed her help most. This did not change through the ten-month process to come to a settlement. The other side all but ignored our communications and attempts at settlement hoping we would just go away. But Jenny does not go away, she stays and fights for her clients. She ultimately drafted a well-researched and very strategic complaint and gave them a short window of time to either respond or she would file the complaint in Superior Court. They immediately responded and the case was settled within a week. I ultimately received about 2.7 times my original severance offer which represented a very significant settlement. Jenny always worked with me on the fees which I felt were very fair. She is a dedicated, intelligent and experienced attorney who can keep things in perspective and reassure you when you have doubts. I don’t think I would have ever been able to get through this process and with this outcome with anyone other than Jenny.
