About 8 years ago I was referred to Teresa by an adoption lawyer I had used. During my first experience with her, for my divorce, I was able to email, phone, and meet in person with Teresa. As someone who appreciates walking through the hows and whys of the legal aspects of divorce, custody, and child support, I believed Teresa was quite adept at explaining not only the law, but how parties work to settle separation agreements, especially when children are involved.
Since that divorce, I have reached out once or twice with simple questions regarding my judgement and have received prompt answers. Recently, I filed a modification and Teresa proved, again, how much value she brings to a not entirely pleasant process. Teresa was professional, adhered to court and legal processes, remained collected, sympathetic, knowledgeable and firm throughout the settlement process. Again, she always takes the time to thoroughly answer my questions.
While I hope to not need more legal services (!!), I am certain that Teresa will always be THE lawyer I turn to.

Teresa helped me out when I needed it most! It was by luck that I found her but she was a true blessing. She helped me through a very painful and messy divorce. She was understanding and very responsive. I can't thank her enough! When my wife wanted to change everything, only for her benefit not my child's; Teresa helped me realize that the courts always do what's in the best interest of the child not necessarily what a parent wants. She was extremely knowledgeable about children's issues. My child has a disability and she went the extra mile to help me gather documentation and information that would be relevant to my case. As a father I was generally concerned that the courts would automatically grant my wife full custody. She is a true advocate. When I was stressed and angry she helped me stay calm and focused. I would recommend her to anyone going through a divorce especially if you have children!

My divorce was not contentious, but I needed someone to look out for MY interests, after my now-Ex retained a lawyer and tried to pass him off as a mediator. I don't think there was any mal-intent going on, but I needed to make sure MY interests were being preserved.
She listened to my desired goals, where I thought there could be some negotiations, and she handled it from there. It's a stressful time, and was glad she was there to help me through it all. The outcome was as expected.

My divorce process became more contentious than I originally anticipated and Patrice provided excellent guidance throughout while efficiently managing my legal costs. She was professional and well prepared for our temporary support court hearing and was also very effective in final negotiations with my ex-husband's lawyer which led to a quick pre-trial hearing in front of the judge. She shows compassion without prying into personal matters and takes the time to evaluate the case fully to determine the best outcome for her client. Patrice was with me every step of the way when I was going through my divorce. She was receptive to my needs, but also was very pragmatic when it came to actual litigation. I was fired from my job unfairly and contacted Tetyana upon the recommendation of my friend. She listened to all of my concerns and asked a lot of good questions. That actually helped me to put my own thoughts together, so it was like a therapy session, go figure.

I consulted Tetyana about some HIPAA compliance issues we had to deal with in my office. I wasn't sure how to handle an issue with an emancipated minor asking for their information not to be shared with their parents. Tetyana explained everything to me, gave great, very practical recommendations on how to handle the situation, and on top of it pointed out some of the other things we could be doing better. I will definitely call her again, it was a pleasure working with her.

In 2014, Ms. Wood represented us on the sale of our condominium. She provided excellent advice, recommendations, and consultation throughout the entire real estate transaction process. Our specific situation was not routine. We were selling our condo by for sale by owner, and our condo involved an affordable deed rider overseen by CHAPA. She was very knowledgeable in both areas and helped us successfully navigate through all issues as there were more parties involved than usual. She reviewed offer sheets, the P&S, consulted with the buyer's agent, and prepared the deed. She corrected all errors and made all the appropriate changes that kept our interests at heart. She was very flexible in the types of communication. We mostly communicated via phone and email which worked well for us. She was always available throughout the process. On the day of the closing, there were incorrect calculations on the HUD from the buyer's attorney. She was very proactive and got the corrections made early to allow the closing to remain on schedule. I would highly recommend Ms Wood for all real estate transaction representation. My family is going to hire Ms Wood to help with estate planning in the near future.

I was a young single mom arguing against a man with unlimited money. I was represented a couple times by welfare lawyers and it turned out real bad. I went straight to the Registrar of Probate and asked him to recommend to me the best probate lawyer he knew. He replied Melissa Whish. She's young but has enough degrees to be a judge, she's very smart, and the judges love her. I met with her and all I can tell you is that she mopped the floor with every attorney my ex could come up with. She was so good, my ex brother-in-law hired her for his own divorce a few years later!

My experience with Michelle Raymond, despite the circumstances, has been a very good one. I feel very fortunate to have Michelle representing me. She has provided me with excellent legal services and advice, is professional, experienced and kind, and has given me the strength to get through what has turned out to be the most challenging time of my life. My personal situation has been complicated by many factors including divorce, a difficult custody battle, my older daughter's subsequent mental health issues, drug addiction and attempts to end her life, and my younger daughter's emotional distress from all the turmoil.

Lisa represented me on several matters stemming from the aftermath of a high conflict divorce that resulted in additional litigation with my ex-husband after we divorced. These included restraining orders, two divorce modifications to change parenting schedules, contempt actions, and a host of other issues when my ex would do everything he could to make my life difficult and not adhere to our Agreement.
Because the relationship with my ex was so contentious and my minor son was caught in the middle of the chaos, I needed someone to help me navigate so many moving parts expertly. At one point, I was in court 8x in 1 year and almost that many times the following year. It was truly an awful, emotional and draining time and if I did not have Lisa's calming, controlled, and sensitive demeanor to help me hold it together, I don't know what I would have done.

I am a young professional who, while not currently affluent, stand to inherit a considerable amount of money from my family. Lisa was able to construct an agreement that would allow my wife and I to share in the growth of our marriage while also reassuring my family that our assets would be protected. She answered all of my questions, but was never condescending. She acted on all of my requests or explained to my satisfaction why she was unable to do so/ could not recommend it.

If you feel your situation is hopeless and you’ve done everything else you can think of, Mike is the lawyer you need. Four years ago I found myself in the middle of a foreclosure. I was told by other lawyers that the situation was hopeless, but if anyone could help me, it would be Mike Tremblay. So I made an appointment for a free consultation to discuss my situation with him. He followed up, as promised, by performing extensive research in which he discovered that the bank attempting to foreclose did not have clear title to my mortgage. He advised me to file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition in order to attempt to save my home. This was during the time that faulty mortgage assignments and the robo-signing scandal was just coming to light. Mike did a lot of legal research and put the fear of God into the mortgage holder. As a result of his tenacity, the case was settled, I was able to sell my condo for the current market value, paid off all my debt, and the bankruptcy case will be closed in another month and I am able to get on with my life. Mike and his staff worked tirelessly on my behalf. He worked for four years without being paid, except the small retainer I could afford. He waited until the condo was sold and I was able to pay his fee with the proceeds. Mike is great to work with – he was sensitive to my situation, and honest about the possible outcomes. He relentlessly pursued every possibility for success. In talking with other lawyers, I have learned that Mike is very highly respected for his knowledge of the law, his ability to do research and write briefs, and be a vigorous advocate in court. I went from being hopeless and overwhelmed to a whole new start in life.

I hired her twice for real estate deals. She closed the first one professionally and without hiccups. During the second closing the buyer's mortgage bank and lawyer were awful and the buyer was forced to extend the closing date four times. Through it all, Lindsay was fierce in her advocacy for me and never wavered from getting the job done at the original, agreed upon price.
I can't tell you how much I valued having her on my team. I could have lost a lot of sleep while waiting for the close, but I slept easy knowing that Lindsay was my attorney. Through it all, Lindsay was kind, explained everything to me, was detail oriented (she rewrote the final numbers four times), worked beautifully with my real estate agent, and got the job done - as onerous as it was. I can never thank her enough for the lawyering she did for me.
