Jordan Taylor of Henderson Taylor Law Firm was such a tremendous source of help from start to finish with my auto accident. Jordan is extremely knowledgeable, professional, attentive and reliable. He makes himself available to answer any and all questions or concerns. Jordan walked me through what to expect during my deposition, in turn calming my nerves, which was so helpful.
Jordan’s paralegal, Rose is also extremely knowledgeable, helpful, thorough very kind. My phone calls were answered and/or returned as soon as possible.
I also had their support and compassion in that while going through this process, I lost my husband.. he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

Ryan was the only attorney who listened enough to actually help me define what I needed to do. Other attorneys I sought out didn’t listen and just dismissed my situation as too niche, and to go to the Bar Association for a referral (which they don’t do, by the way). Not only was he efficient and effective, he was soooooo incredibly kind and educational. Please go to him if you are the curious type and want to understand legal matters because he’s got a knack for clarity and extremely patient and sensitive, too. I received a ticket in Grant County and it was a challenge to locate a firm that would go there.
After reaching out to NW Liberty and speaking with Jorge late in the day on a Friday. I didn’t have to do anything, except provide him the necessary documentation. Throughout the process Christopher kept me updated and explained the process. Both Jorge and Christopher provided excellent service and were very responsive. Today, I received great news that my ticket was dismissed.

Hugh McGavick was exactly who I needed for my case. I had an employment related legal situation, where my employer changed what we had originally agreed to for my retention. Originally, a bonus for my retention through a specific date was agreed to. Upon my last day, they sent a separation agreement that did not include this bonus, and even included wording that if I sign the separation agreement, I would be waiving all claims, obligations, etc. with the company, and it even specifically included bonuses. I obviously was concerned about this, but the company refused to amend the agreement to include the bonus they had already agreed to, and told me they would pay it out after I signed the agreement... an agreement that made them not legally liable to do so. I've never needed legal aid before, so I had no idea where to start, but I was able to find Avvo, which led me to Hugh. Hugh wasted no time and after I contacted him, explained the situation, and paid for his services, he went after the company quickly. He made sure to gather from me all the information he needed, and presented the facts to the company in an organized and clear way, while also citing the laws and governing bodies for Washington they were potentially violating. As someone who knows nothing about this sort of thing, it really was helpful to know how employment and wage laws in Washington applied to me and my case. The company sent the bonus after Hugh's involvement, and Hugh is honest with billable hours as well. He sent me an itemized invoice after our business was concluded, that showed how he spent every moment on our case, and even refunded me part of the balance as I had paid for more time than was needed. I couldn't be happier with the help I received from Hugh!

It’s difficult to fully express my gratitude for Mindy and words could never encompass this achievement. My motion was exceptionally challenging—a monumental undertaking with the odds heavily stacked against me. It was highly unlikely that the court would grant my motion, as it’s rare for a final order to be overturned. I had spent months consulting with numerous law firms, but no one was willing to take me on as a client. Despite knowing I had a strong argument with facts to back it up, I struggled to find help.
From the moment I had my first consultation with Mindy, I knew she was the one who could help me. Mindy is incredible. I'm writing this with my healthy baby sleeping peacefully beside me--an outcome I didn't think possible for much of the past year.
I initially hired Mindy Carr to help write a co-parenting plan. I knew my former partner could be difficult to work with, but I had no idea what was in store. Mindy noticed red flags in my co-parent's behavior from the start and helped me prepare for the high-conflict separation that was coming. She predicted how the process would likely unfold given her prior experience, and she was spot on. It wasn't how I hoped things would go, but I was incredibly grateful to be working with an attorney who had seen similar behavior before and knew how to constructively handle it. So, when my co-parent suddenly changed lawyers and filed a surprise motion for near-exclusive custody of our baby, Mindy was able to quickly assemble an effective response. Her arguments at the hearing convinced the commissioner to adopt a balanced temporary parenting plan instead, and gave me and my co-parent more time to continue discussing a parenting plan via counseling.
It took almost a year before our parenting plan was finalized in arbitration. Mindy let me know what was going on and what to expect the entire time--her transparency really helped reduce my anxiety during such an uncertain period. I was particularly impressed with her knowledge of the family court system and the people in it; she clearly has lots of first-hand experience here and it showed in her approach. She was a tireless and trustworthy advocate who kept my child's interests at heart.
I believe we ended up with a fair parenting plan that puts our child first and provides time and space for each co-parent to build a healthy relationship with them. It's exactly the outcome I'd hoped we could reach collaboratively when I first hired Mindy; the fact that she was able to make this happen despite the machinations of a very high-conflict co-parent speaks to Mindy's resourcefulness, intelligence, and tenacity.

Early in the process of getting divorced, I tried to represent myself, and I ultimately turned to Mindy via a friend's recommendation. Just from a purely financial standpoint, hiring Mindy was among the best decisions I've ever made. The agreement I negotiated for myself was approximately 7x Mindy's total fees less than what I ultimately signed with her help.
Beyond that, though, I've gotten the sense throughout the process that Mindy really and truly wants to help. I felt supported and seen; I know this sounds corny, but it's true.
Mindy's experience and attention to detail helped me avoid a bunch of potentially problematic language in the parenting agreement we ultimately signed, and her advice on strategy and tactics was always well reasoned. She could also consistently explain why she wanted certain provisions added or removed in plain English, translating the legal rule into the likely real world ramifications for me.
Family law being as sensitive as it is, I dearly hope that I never get to work with Mindy again. But if I ever do wind up needing another family lawyer, Mindy will be my first call, and I'll be deeply disappointed if she does not answer.

I went through a HORRIFIC 2+ year long high-conflict divorce from a narcissistic man who verbally and physically abused me in front of our young child. Yasmeen was my 3rd lawyer and I am thankful to God every day that I finally found her. I could tell right away that she is a person of the highest integrity and retains expert knowledge of the legal process. Beyond those stunning traits, emotionally, she was my rock as she guided me through the incredibly traumatic process of extricating myself from my toxic marriage and fighting for custody of my child. My ex and his low-vibrating energy monster of a lawyer did everything in their power to break me: Manipulation, lying, defamation, disregarding court orders, twisting the truth, and hiring "expert" witnesses to try to discredit and demonize me. Yasmeen remained optimistic and unshaken, having full confidence every time I spoke to her that we would win. She encouraged me not to give up, even though I wanted to so badly so many times as this process nearly broke me as a person. But, in the end, Yasmeen came through for me and my child, and we won at trial in a big way. I can't say that I'll ever feel fully vindicated after what my ex put me through, but at least my child has me as the primary parent with full decision making, safe and supported, which makes the whole thing worth it.

Yasmeen, Erin, Sara, Nadine and Robin are amazing. I’ve got the best result possible in my Hague convention case & custody! I’m very happy to have my child back to USA, the process was smooth throughout the whole case using Abdullah’s law firm, they were always on top of everything, very communicative, always there for any question/concern & very transparent. During the court sessions Yasmeen was very confident, accurate & ready for all the judge questions. Yasmeen is very knowledgeable & familiar in the family laws, Hague & civil rights areas. As far as the cost is very decent & reasonable. I do not even know where to start on how fortunate I was to have Ed and Spencer on my side for a brutal divorce proceeding. I will summarize how awesome Ed and his team were, but I really want to highlight his ability to be caring and to listen throughout the two year battle. This was an emotionally draining and a hard two year fight. Ed was extremely honest with me and didn’t play games wasting time. I was always kept informed and knew my options.
Ed was relentless and knew the law which ultimately lead to us winning at trial. From the day he took my case I put full trust into him and I feel this was such a success because of that. He knows the law and is phenomenal at trial in front of a judge!
Ed was very thorough and was always very forthcoming on what he needed from me. I had to trust him though the process and I’m so glad I did. My ex was a complete liar and fabricated so many lies throughout the two years, there were multiple contempts and hearings while we waited for trial. Ed was always on his A game and was able to shut down the other side without issues.

This is the second time I tried an uncontested divorce and it went much much better. The first time was through an online "fill in the blank" site that was useless. This firm provides great directions along the way to try to prevent it from becoming contested. I had to give in a little which is fine so I could get it over with. If it did I had options to try to settle it. Bo is honest about the process and all fees, and tells you exactly what to do. There are NO surprise charges or fees. All in all I'd use this firm again, as he did his job admirably.

Mr. Weintraub was my lawyer for a modification of child-support gate. I think he did a really good job of figuring out my former spouses actual income versus what was reported and even corrected Washington State’s calculations. He looked at his finances and tax returns and I think his tax background helped a lot which is one reason I hired him. Other lawyers I consulted didn’t point them out. He has a very helpful staff and was less cost than many others quoted, so I’m very happy with his overall work.

Rachel helped me fix a messy custody (dis)agreement, made more complex by being a military family with both parties residing out of state. I sincerely wish I had utilized her during my actual divorce, and saved some of the headaches my previous counsel didn't consider.

I contacted Mari Luna after my mother-in-law passed away. Family members were coming out of the woodwork demanding assets. It was a very stressful time. During our initial phone conversation with Mari she took time to listen and thoroughly understand our situation. She checked in with my father-in-law to confirm his wishes concerning the distribution of his assets. Mari has a very calming professional demeanor. She made suggestions and recommended a plan moving forward. Since my father-in-law is a paraplegic she went so far to offer to drive to his home to accommodate signing paperwork. We needed to divorce, but we also really needed to save money if possible. We wanted to do it ourselves, but the paperwork was just too overwhelming. It was hard to know where to start.
Mari gave us a free consultation and explained the divorce process to us. Then, we booked an appointment and got started. She worked with us to mediate a fair parenting plan that worked for us & our kids, determine reasonable child support, and then mediated with us to divide all of our property. We agreed to everything, and in the end, it seemed very fair to both of us.
We tried to fill out some of the forms; then, Mari reviewed them, made changes if needed, & completed them for us. She told us how to file the Petition at the courthouse ourselves and then appear for the Status Conference to give all the paperwork to the judge so he could approve everything and make our divorce final.
When we compared our experience with some of our friends, we were happy to report we finished our entire divorce for much, much less than any of our friends paid. Also, Mari kept emphasizing how important it was for our kids to know how much we both loved them and that they weren't responsible for our divorce in any way.
My husband and I were able to negotiate everything reasonably & still remain on cordial terms during the process. Now that some time has passed, it's easy to see how much this matters to our kids and us. All things considered, we're all doing really well!

After a long and unhappy marriage, my former spouse and I decided to hire Juliet to mediate our legal separation. We had initially hired our own legal representatives and that was proving to me a true nightmare and promised a protracted, painful and expensive pathway. We took a pause and decided to try a mediator and were so fortunate to find Juliet and her paralegal, Jentri. As one can imagine, splitting from a spouse of nearly 4 decades was a complex, conflict-riddled, contentious experience. Juliet somehow managed to maintain her incredibly professional, calm and neutral stance while we hammered out our settlement contract. Her billing was beyond fair and well accounted for. Her work, including the computations needed, was carefully prepared and meticulously documented. Given the behaviors she had to tolerate and the "tattling" she was subjected to, she remained supportive of both parties and respectful toward us. When it was over and we met to sign paperwork, she was very empathetic and left me with a box of tissues and time to compose myself. I know we were difficult to deal with and she must have had to use all of her skills to coach us to the conclusion. A year later, my former spouse asked for a divorce and wanted to use her to complete that last step. Again, she and Jentri were professional, brief and did not get involved in the drama surrounding the divorce. Since her work had been so thorough during the separation, the divorce was quick and simple and they took care of everything. I was so grateful!
