I had a really wonderful experience working with Lise. First off, I found out about Lise because she was referred to me from another one of her clients who had told me she went above and beyond for them, and because of her knowledge in her field she was able to work magic and get him additional benefits in his divorce case. Where do I start? When I contacted Ryann from Miller Embury, I called him to take my case against a former employer, this was due to a work injury and Worker’s Compensation dispute. I spoke over the phone with this one. Immediately after discussing my issues and not being able to walk since my spinal tap. Victoria started yelling at me over the call that "if your man hadn't slammed your head" in a domestic situation that I had no right to blame my doctor that had been only Practicing for two years at that time. It was her job to investigate my situation before coming to a conclusion about my spine. I felt so small almost like a child. I'm still not able to walk on my own without this rollator walker. In fact my spine is so messed up I can't sleep on my back in bed otherwise I'm stuck trying to get up. I remember during my spinal tap there was another person that the doctor kept whispering to as he worked on me like he was being coached. Victoria is a very angry person and her KARMA is on its way.

So I guess medical facilities and doctors have a right to leave me with bilateral ankle tares, bakers cysts, brain cyst, MS , spinal stenosis and spondylitis, bilateral rotator cuff tares and 3 miscarriages untreated in United States of America.

A very close attorney I have worked with for almost 5 years, went to SBL to set up a" Medical Malpractice " area adding an additional service the firm could offer clients.
to assist their client's needs concerning the case they are fighting for.
I have dealt with dozens of attorneys in the last 15 years, and all of them are great yet, SBL was/is different... They stand out with me. Not simply fantastic to work with, of course, that's my opinion, but are patient, kind, respectful, and diligent, all while treating you like family!
That is the one thing that gets repeated every time I meet clients, they state to me they feel very at home with the SBL. I don't have to write this review, yet after reading the 1-star review(s)... ( the reviewer was false, as no attorney would professionally advise you to go file your own case and see if that works for you...) Therefore, I felt compelled to write this review.
In life, you wish you got appreciated more by people, your family, public officials, or your boss, But you're very appreciated as a client at this firm. They do not turn away cases because it's not lucrative enough or...If an injured person is not injured enough, ( Second ridiculous statement), that is false!

For a large firm, You would never know it as they are very family-orientated.

When does a business fulfill an emotional purpose for you in a critical time & it pays off? Life doesn't look the same when you've suffered a serious injury. The first thing that happened when I told reception about my case, I was talking to Sam, himself, who I've seen in commercials since I was a kid. I don't know if he's there to do that every time, but all of their staff were efficient and on point the whole time, and I felt that I was cared about as part of the case. That let me focus on healing to get back to my life.

After an auto crash I was involved in at the end of 2015, I was referred to Mike by a family friend. I was hesitant at first because he was an "unknown". In today's world, there are so many advertisements for personal injury attorneys that it makes it tough to decide. I hired Mike in early 2016 and liked how he was upfront with me about the process and provided realistic expectations. Unfortunately, I learned immediately that I didn't have enough coverage. This was hard to hear but a learning experience none the less. Throughout 2016, Mike kept me updated on my case as needed and he was always responsive when I had questions. In 2017, I settled the personal injury case. While I thought I deserved more(who doesn't), I was satisfied to get what I received and only just over a year from the crash.
As I left Mike's office in 2017, I didn't imagine ever going back.
Not because of anything Mike did but because I was moving forward and wanted this behind me. However, more injuries from the crash manifested themselves in 2017 and 2018 to the point where I was unable to work anymore. I set up a meeting with Mike in the summer of 2018 and ended up hiring him a second time to go after my insurance provider for loss wages and medical expenses. Mike advised us that we were within the three year window to collect and that he would be able to get those for me. After quite a bit of back and forth between the insurance provider, Mike, and myself, he was ultimately correct again and we received a settlement in November of 2019.
As evidenced by me hiring Mike twice within the last four years, I would recommend him to anyone involved in an auto accident in Michigan.
