My experience with Shapiro Legal Group PLLC WAS GREAT. I must say the representative that called me was very nice and he made me feel comfortable with the whole process and explained in detail how everything went from here. There's no amount of money that could buy out the suffering with headache's and everything else that goes along with the tumor, but the people (same people who made some COVID injections) (Pfizer) let millions of women get the Depo- Provera shot for over a decade while neglecting to label the side affect that it could cause brain tumors. At least they could do is compensate/ Settle out of court with us women who did develop a brain tumor due to their negligence

Long overdue review! Mehdi is truly an amazing lawyer who cares. I had a complicated family court case while simultaneously an ongoing criminal case with my abusive ex. I was in postpartum and it was the beginning of separation. I was very hyper vigilant and probably not the easiest to deal with, but Mehdi fully supported me through both cases. He took my life chaos with stride. He always fought hard for me in the court room. He even advocated for me to the ADA in the separate criminal case pushing the case further than it would have without him. I sometimes had to remember he was my lawyer and not my therapist! He gave me so much advice and honestly strength. Sharing a child with an abuser is no fun. We did get everything we asked for in Family Court which was such a relief. It wouldn’t have happened with any other lawyer, only Mehdi. I truly believe that. After Family Court ended he contacted me to check in and show support. He has worked with many women who have experienced DV so he gets it. Hopefully we don’t end up back in Family Court, but if we do He’s our GoTO… If he will have us again. Ha. Ha. We love you Mehdi!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!
They've had my case for about 5 years, and in that 5 years I've heard from them only 2 or 3 times. I just read a review from Josh Gersten, posted just 3 weeks ago. I have the same problems as he has. This firm stays in contact with you for about a month. After that, you're lucky to get an update on your case once per year(and thats very generous). I've contacted them several times through their website and through email. They just ignore me, and I never get a reply back. They just introduced a new app to track your case about a year ago. I haven't had access to this Hona Client since they introduced it. I've filled out the request to be given access 2 or 3 times in the last year, and they just ignore me. The longer I let them keep my case, the more and more I see that this is one of those firms that goes for the quick payday and take on as many clients as they possibly can with the intentions of making as much money as they can with the least amount of time and effort put into your case. No wonder why they haven't made 5 minutes available to contact me with an update. If you go with this firm, do not expect to win a big settlement. Expect to win your case as quickly as possible even if it means taking a much smaller settlement so that they can pocket the money with minimal effort.
Now my case is a Social Security disability case, so their potential earnings are capped. Since they cant win much from my case, they treat me like I'm a number instead of a person. Expect the same. My guess is that they've dropped me as a client because I'm expecting updates, and those 5 minutes twice a year are more valuable than I am to them. I haven't had an update probably in 12-18 months. They just straight up ignore me, but then again my case isn't very valuable to them since its a Social Security case. Expect the same treatment that me and Josh have gotten.

I came to these people after being neglected by another firm. Promises of contact and the proper attention needed.
Things were fine for a while, they helped me have the procedures I needed.
Contact started to disappear. Lack of responses.
I find out they moved my Lawyer to Disability from Workman's Compensation.
There was zero connection to what I needed and intentions were. My messages were ignored.
I had a hearing over 6 months ago and now they send me a message that they can't get in touch with my doctor and need paperwork filled out. That I should contact my doctor.
It took 6 months of "trying" before you get in touch with someone?
I've been trying to close out my case. My former lawyer understood what I wanted. The person who was handed and did nothing with it, didn't care and was only interested in what was "best for me, and ultimately their firm"
I never got a lawyer for money, I wanted to have surgery to fix my injuries. I have not had any physical therapy for over a year. Over 6 months since I have seen my surgeon. We have closed out all the care, so why am being told not reaching maximum medical is a good thing..?
I am not getting any better, we don't need to play pretend to milk the state for more money.
Close my case... nope.. they will just waste time and do what is ultimately best for them in the end.
Stay away, they are no different then the other guys that just treat you like a peice of meat. Company is too big to give a sh/t.

My experience with Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik, PLLC was breathtaking. I was run over by a car in Harlem while crossing a crosswalk with the right of way. The guy driving was 100% at fault. The state bar of NY enthusiastically recommend I set up a consultation with them. So I had a 5 minute call with his paralegal, Joanne O’Connell, it was nice. She wanted me to send my neurologist medical records to review and the detailed police report. Made it happen. Then, all communication ceased. No email was replied to thereafter. The only reason I can come up with is that Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik genuinely believe there is no merit in finding justice for pedestrians who wrongfully get run over by a car in the state of New York left with long-term injuries.
So I found an actual attorney who got to work, now everything is good.
This concludes my final thoughts on KD&R for now. I’m extremely honored to have been in Joanne’s presence. She and KD&R are extraordinary human beings - but has no follow through and all that talk lead to nothing.

I cannot speak highly enough of Raphaelson & Levine and, in particular, of Corey Flick who handled my case. I was a pedestrian who was struck by a truck in a crosswalk and Mr. Flick helped me every step of the way.
I'd never had to deal with anything like this before and so asked an attorney friend of mine to help me find a good personal injury attorney in New York. Raphaelson & Levine was at the top of his list. I spoke with each firm on his list and Mr. Flick was the most personable and helpful. That did not change in the nine plus months that followed.
He fought hard for me, and for the best outcome. I had to go to countless doctor appointments, physical therapy sessions, and make a number of tricky decisions. Mr. Flick and his team helped me with everything and made my recovery as easy and stress free as humanly possible. I am very happy with the result.
Besides the outcome, here's what I valued most about working with Raphaelson & Levine.
(1) Mr. Flick made himself available to patiently answer any questions I had, whenever I had them. He and his team were always a phone call or text away. He also called to check in on me multiple times. I never felt overwhelmed or at a loss about what to do thanks to him.
(2) He helped map out the different options and do a cost/benefit analysis for each. He made sure I understood every choice available to me, the reasons for/against each, and helped me figure out what would be best *for me.*
(3) Throughout the whole process, he was exceptionally kind and empathetic on top of being hypercompetent.

I hired Leandros Vrionedes for a weak case (coffee burned my hand and I fainted) and he turned it into real money. He saved me a bundle on medical bills (beyond the duty he was hired for) and he got me a generous settlement on top of that.

You saved our case. You gave us a future.
I don't know if I properly thanked you after the jury verdict came in 100% for us.
I was kind of stunned. In shock really.
But I guess I shouldn't have been. I mean, you told us it would be OK. That we would be OK. But you were the only one who said that.
The only one who believed we could win.
When every other lawyer said our case was too difficult, you said not to worry.
When not just the opposition, but the insurance companies, the hospitals, even the court system, all seemed to be against us, you were there.
Calming. Caring. Always kind, always available. Answering every question we had. Addressing all our concerns.
