After 5 yearsong years, my lawsuit finally came to an end recently with a settlement. I knew it would be a tough case but Ed Gersowitz and his team were phenomenal and the case ended more favorably than I ever could have hoped for. In addition, Ed and his team were fatastic about keeping me up to date and always checking in with me to see how I was doing and how I was recovering after my accident. I can't recommend the GLK enough for their level of personal care, compassion, and attentiveness.

They didn’t represent me, so this review isn’t about their representation, but I would suggest that they discontinue advertising that they practice law in areas that they do not. I called about a bad faith insurance case, and was told that they only practice personal injury law. That just seems shady to advertise a whole list of practice areas just to get people to call them, especially when it may impact people who are in these kinds of difficult situations. What does that say about the firm? Trustworthy? I don’t believe so.

highly recommended. I have been included in a number of class action lawsuits with Leeds. First thing- they have an lovely secretary who picks up the phone right away. In an age of tapping on numbers to get to different deptartments, this just makes life easier. I was fortunate to have found Paul! I tasked him with writing my prenup, and he was attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. I had zero prior experience with marital law, and I came to him with a ton of loose ideas for what my partner and I were looking for in the document. I knew it would be a difficult task to come to an agreement between all parties, and draft a legal document that satisfied everyone’s interests, but Paul came through. We worked together, and I found him very personable and easy to work with. He was able to break-down complex topics easily for me to understand and was extremely meticulous. I cannot speak highly enough of Raphaelson & Levine and, in particular, of Corey Flick who handled my case. I was a pedestrian who was struck by a truck in a crosswalk and Mr. Flick helped me every step of the way.
I'd never had to deal with anything like this before and so asked an attorney friend of mine to help me find a good personal injury attorney in New York. Raphaelson & Levine was at the top of his list. I spoke with each firm on his list and Mr. Flick was the most personable and helpful. That did not change in the nine plus months that followed.
He fought hard for me, and for the best outcome. I had to go to countless doctor appointments, physical therapy sessions, and make a number of tricky decisions. Mr. Flick and his team helped me with everything and made my recovery as easy and stress free as humanly possible. I am very happy with the result.
Besides the outcome, here's what I valued most about working with Raphaelson & Levine.
(1) Mr. Flick made himself available to patiently answer any questions I had, whenever I had them. He and his team were always a phone call or text away. He also called to check in on me multiple times. I never felt overwhelmed or at a loss about what to do thanks to him.
(2) He helped map out the different options and do a cost/benefit analysis for each. He made sure I understood every choice available to me, the reasons for/against each, and helped me figure out what would be best *for me.*
(3) Throughout the whole process, he was exceptionally kind and empathetic on top of being hypercompetent.
I would recommend Raphaelson & Levine (and Mr. Flick, in particular) to anyone. I could not have had a better experience!

That’s a lawyer for you!

We provided a service for her and through no fault of our own it was rejected by the party she was attempting to serve. She attempted to shift blame on us even though she was provided a written response from the party involved on why service was rejected which had nothing to do with how we effected service. She has not payed for services rendered, will not respond to emails or pick up the phone when we call. Very unprofessional.

I called the office of Attorney Anthony Ballato after searching for some who deals with knowledge of the Lemon law. Mr Ballato was extremely helpful, and personable. He spoke to me giving me his time and showing compassion.
He explained that due to the car being purchased out of state he would recommend an attorney in the state where the vehicle was purchased. He just happened to know an attorney in that state I mentioned then.. he sent a text message ahead while still on the phone with me sharing with this attorney my dilemma. I was amazed because many would and have said “sorry but I can’t help you” that’s out of my jurisdiction. Not Mr Ballato he wen the extra mile and I am so very grateful to him. I did speak with the recommended attorney. I highly recommend this law practice to anyone seeking an attorney in this area of need although his office also covers many other types of cases. I bought a Harley Davidson motorcycle that sadly turned out to be a lemon. Initially, I decided to handle the process of filing a lemon law claim on my own. However, once I received a response from Harley's attorneys, I quickly realized that I was in over my head. I found Anthony Ballato's firm through an online search. Despite my hearing being scheduled just a few weeks away, Anthony graciously agreed to review my case. After our discussion, it became evident that I would greatly benefit from his experience and expertise. I hired Anthony and it didn't take long for Harley to become more cooperative. I contacted several lawyers regarding my accident. Marty was the first one who was more concerned about my injury than any possible settlement. This was very important to me. He guided me through no-fault insurance in order to find a doctor, and he did it knowing there might not be a lot of money in the end.

I engaged Roberta Ashkin after an auto accident when a tractor trailer hit my car and I sustained complicated injuries including a herniated disk in my neck. Not only did she negotiate a substantial settlement she was a constant source of support and guidance throughout the process.
Years later I was on an escalator in a department store that came to a sudden halt as it was descending. My wrist and ankle felt immediately sore. But I thought it was just a temporary effect. But before I left the store, I called Roberta and she told me not to leave until I filed an incident report.
