I suffered a slip and fall accident and needed a trial attorney. I interviewed many lawyers, most were interested in a quick settlement, or just not interested at all. I was committed not to settle for a quick settlement. I was ready for the long fight ahead of me and needed a lawyer who was just as committed. I was looking for a lawyer who would fight, I found Mitchell Silbowitz. He took the case to trial,his firm brought in a high-resolution monitor and projector so the jury could see all the evidence better. He provided professional-quality poster size photo's to show the jury the environmental conditions of my accident. He provided a certified snow expert as a witness on my behalf to explain the icy conditions in my case. The most damaging thing to the opposition was not all the evidence or witnesses, it was the trial attorney provided by Mitchell law firm. She was articulate, detailed, and overcame all the obstacles in the trial. The outcome, I received 17.5 times more than the insurance company originally offered.

Mathew is a very professional lawyer that i highly recommend. Since day 1 Mathew seemed very confident, knowledgeable, responsible and an ambitious lawyer. I really appreciated the fact that Mathew always kept me posted on every detail of my case. I was involved in a serious 3 car collision accident that resulted in personal injuries. I had to endure medical treatments and therapy because of it. Mathew did a great job representing my case in court showing that my bodily injuries were due to reckless drivers and i was a victim of it. Mr. M. Fuhrman was very accepting and polite when I walked into the office. He was very eager to assist and listen to my presentation. Several years ago my son suffered a catastrophic brain injury ( TBI) in a fall.

There were two appeals to higher courts over a liability issue. This case was settled as a Jury was being selected.

In the fall of 2015, I suffered a crush injury on a construction site in NYC. I was taken on by what is considered one of the top law firms in the North East. 6 months into my case, they dropped me citing the difficulty in winning my case. The Perecman Firm looked over my case and eagerly took it on. From day 1 they coordinated all of my case needs. All of my follow up doctor visits and Independent Medical Examiner appointments were over seen and documented by their group of experts. Ed Guldi walked my case through the red tape of NYS Workers Comp and Silvana Leone navigated me through the incredibly arduous path of obtaining SSDI like she wrote the code! Every T was crossed and every I was dotted!
As for case itself, Steven Dorfman nailed it… not only did he win, his filings and oral arguments resulted in the case receiving summary judgement and I never stepped foot in a courtroom! His work was so convincing and thorough that he left opposing council no alternative than to settle and he over-performed again negotiating a settlement beyond my wildest expectations!

This has to be one of the absolute worst firms in the entire city. My mother was hit by a car and in a case that should have taken months to resolve had taken over two years to settle. The communication from them was non existent, and representation was atrocious. I implore anyone who cares for their family members to look for different services than this firm. Please heed this warning as it will save you time, money and actual representation. They charged my mother 33% for absolutely nothing. No follow up, no guidance absolutely nothing. You’d have better chances representing yourself. Good luck to anyone of you who decide to deal with this horrible law firm.
