I engaged the law firm of Rappaport, Glass, Levine and Zullo, LLP to deal with a medical malpractice lawsuit for my husband who was tragically the victim of unprofessional doctors.
From the very moment we met with Michael Glass I knew that we were in good and caring hands. Mr. Glass even came to the hospital to visit with my husband and myself. His compassion made us feel so comfortable during a very trying time.
Chris Glass then took over and stayed with us every step of the way. He kept us informed of all updates, answered phone calls and e-mails immediately and was always a very calming force. I can't possibly say enough good things about my experience with this law firm. It's difficult to imagine going through this trial without Gersowitz, Libo, & Korek and in particular, Jeff Korek. My injury was due to a bus accident which meant I was going up against the powerful MTA and the NYTA. One of my doctors recommended Adam Cahn because my case was going to be complicated due to the fact I had pre-existing conditions and the other side was going to surely use this information to disprove the severity of my new injuries. She knew Adam had a great reputation in winning difficult cases. I'm so happy I went with her suggestion. From the very beginning Adam and the entire team at Sakkas, Cahn & Weiss made me feel like my case was very important them, like I was a part of their family and we were going to win. They arranged additional medical reviews, kept me informed of the other side's actions, made clear to me which laws gave them the confidence that we were going to win. Adam used his vast medical contacts and the firm's assets to build my case. He was honest from the very start that because of my pre-existing conditions it was going to be a long process, so the firm helped me make some sound financial decisions a long the way to keep my family afloat. From the beginning I was glad that I came to Charlie and his team for my personal injury case. They really took to time to listen to what happened to me and were truly empathetic of what I went through. I also felt like they were really on top of my case and always worked on collecting documents with plenty of time to spare so I never had to rush to meet any deadline which I really appreciate. They guided me throughout this process and we’re good about letting me know what I could expect moving forward. Frustrating Experience with Suris and Associates
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Suris and Associates has prompted me to share my concerns so that others can make informed decisions. After over a year of what I thought would be diligent representation for my case, the firm informed me that they would not be pursuing further actions. Their reasoning? They were unable to contact the insurance company.
For a law firm, one would expect a proactive approach, especially in a legal matter that can significantly impact someone’s life. Instead, I felt like my case was put on the back burner as I experienced frustrating delays and a serious lack of communication. Despite my repeated inquiries, there was a notable absence of the effort needed to seek justice.
It’s disheartening to anticipate some support in a challenging time only to find yourself poised on the sidelines. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Suris and Associates based on my dismal experience. I hope others have a more positive encounter, but my advice is to keep your options open and consider firms that exhibit the commitment and tenacity every client deserves.

A few years back Len Sperber handled a lawsuit against our company for a liability claim. The company that handled our insurance found a loophole in our policy and denied insurance for that claim. End result several months later, what could have been a financial disaster ended in a sigh of relief. It was settled for $1000. Need I say more
