I was involved in an accident in 2021 in which another vehicle ran the stop light and crashed into me. The result was injury to back that resulted in therapy. I contacted Mr. Thompson and After talking with him, I retained him to handle my case. For two years he worked diligently with this case, never tiring or giving up even when I felt like it. He gathered all the necessary information, followed up on anything that came into his office and ultimately when we had to go to court, he helped me ease my anxiety of court and prepare myself.

It is with a grateful heart that I write this attribute to a woman who has been there through thick and thin for my family, and showed us that it is not as stressful a situation we were anticipating. Bettina Altizer, of Altizer Law, PC came to me as a result of just searching for an attorney to assist us with a wrongful death situation way back in 1998. We were in turmoil after the stressful death of my mother in law, and we were so very confused. It was not that we wanted a windfall, that could never replace Mom. It was because of the situation that the person in question was still allowed to possibly hurt others.
Well, Bettina understood and fully invested herself, heart and soul, to help us feel that justice would be done. Bettina helped us feel better about this legal matter, and did everything she could possibly do to make it less painful in each and every way, ways that we never even imagined.
All calls were taken immediately, or we were called back within a very short time frame, every step of the way we were kept informed of the process and what to expect in the near future. Bettina also let us know that we were not bad people for doing what we felt was the right thing to do.
Eventually, the case settled, and the ability to prevent future misconduct to someone else was totally satisfied. We felt vindicated that we received the justice we were seeking, and the comfort and care of Bettina and her office staff made us feel as if we were with family the entire time.

I retained Brandon for several cases, and if I ever needed representation again, he'd be the first lawyer I'd contact.
When I hired Brandon, my life was taking a nose dive but his extensive knowledge of the law came through for my family. He represented me in my divorce and fought an insurance company to make sure they paid me my fair share when a drunk driver hit my home.

I call him a great defender because, he fought tooth and nail to speak for me. In the beginning I tried to do it on my own and realized it was bigger than me. I even did mediation with party involved through the EEOC, and I felt like I was being bullied. After talking it over with my family, I sought out a lawyer. I met with Mr. Bybee and his team, and they was so kind. He heard my side of the story and said I had a case, so I hired him. From there, every time I had a mediation with the other party he was there to speaks for me. I no longer felt like I wasn't being heard or I was just a small person in a big company. We spoke on the phone and even through email. If he didn't write back right away, I knew he was in court defending another person. When he was done though, he always responded. When my case came to a closing we did settle and I walked away grateful to him. He is a very caring and family oriented man. He always asked how me and my family was doing and even when my case was over, he checked on us doing the holidays. I am grateful to this man and his team. If I have to use him again, I will be calling.

Mr. Laufar not only approached the case as requested, he also introduced other variables that resulted in a larger award. He explained parts of the law that we were not aware of at the time. Had we gone to Mr. Laufar 6 months earlier, we would have had a much larger award than obtained at the end of the case. If any follow-up work is required, we will definitely go back to Mr. Laufar and we do recommend him for any legal action.

In 2021 our Grandaughter was born and due too negligence of the hospital she sustained a lot of injuries including brain also , due too lack of Oxygen. Unfortunately, while we were traveling from Pennsylvania to Virginia for vacation, my family and I were involved in a serious crash with a dump trunk. We suddenly found ourselves in need of legal assistance, and we were lost as to what to do since we were located in Pennsylvania and the case needed to be litigated in Virginia. So, we went in search of attorneys who would be able to help. While searching through a long list of candidates and their qualifications we came across a listing for Donna Miller Rostant. Not only was Donna an attorney but she also holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialty in women’s health. This was exactly what I was looking for due to the nature of my injuries. Mr. Hankins has help myself with neurmous cases, all have turned out in my favor with cases being completely dropped or a minimal un-surpervised probation for a 1 year period to then after completion of probation the charges be dropped. These cases ranged from simple misdemeanors to serious charges which could have led myself to be labeled as a felon; although Tim's wittiness save myself from facing the ramifications of the courts. I highly recommend him and I still remember his number by heart for that un-foreseen instance I get another charge. He is a doer and doesn't poke around the subject and can make an officer even doubt himself/herself of what actually happened at the time of arrest. For example, I was 20 years old, 2 months away from being 21, and I caught an underage possession of alcohol charge while fishing, I blantely told the marine police officer I purchased the beer since he stated if no one owned up to it myself as well as my friends would all get a charge, in court the officer showed pictures of the beer in the rear of my truck bed and told the judge I had admitted to purchasing the beer, Mr. Hankins then went on to perceive the marine police officer to be a total num-nuts and cross-examine him in a way that made plenty of loopholes in the officers story. Then the judge ruled the case be dismissed and to the officer who wrote the citation as well as all of the other officers in the court at the moment were stunned at the verdict since I had admitted to purchasing the alcohol and it was in my possession.

Jennie did a phenomenal job in representing me on a tricky speeding case. I was pulled over on the end of a downhill slope for going 90+/70 and headed for a reckless driving conviction which could have had serious consequences for me. Jennie understood what was at stake and from the beginning had very thorough explanations and always made my available options clear to me. Jennie is a life saver for my driving record in Virginia. If it wasn't for her, I may not have my license right now. Covington may be a pretty small town, but they still have strict and frequent patrolling by State Police and Local Enforcement, specifically on the Interstate for anyone that knows the area. Nonetheless, I was pinned for a 80/70 that was reduced from an 84/70 on the spot by a friendly and forgiving Officer. Jennie worked with the Commonwealth Attorney directly to allow me to take a driving safety course and avoid negative points on my record by reducing it from a speeding ticket to another type of infraction without damage to my record. She completely got me off this first time and then, flash forward close to 3 years later it happened again, only worse at 90/70, and I thought for sure I was done for considering the Officer did not cut me a break whatsoever. I thought to myself "My luck has finally run out" but she managed to get it dropped to a regular speeding ticket and avoided a misdemeanor on my record and other severe implications caused by a reckless driving ticket/borderline intent to kill ticket (Virginia does not mess around with Speeding).
In both instances, I did not even have to attend the court hearings (luckily so as I am not from that area and can't afford to miss work).
