I was connected to Alex Moskovic through an Employer referral service at my work. I hired him regarding a no contact staking order against a former employee who harassed me and my family electronically and exerted multiple threats. This was an emotionally very draining time. In short, Alex helped me to obtain a 2 year plenary order by agreement, a rare achievement thanks to his great knowledge of the law. With the order in place I feel protected from the harasser and can continue living my life. As someone who never faced any legal situation, Alex guided me through the process and was available to talk when I needed him. He calmly answered all my questions and explained happenings in court, their implications and next steps in a way I could understand, which was important to me. Alex also multiple times provided his professional opinion on a parallel criminal case against the same individual that was ongoing. With his dedication, I wish Alex could have represented me in this case too. Overall, I’m very happy with Alex service and will recommend him to anyone seeking representation for an order of protection. I hope I will never need such legal services again, but if I do I will surely get back to Moskovic Law!

Alex was my attorney handling my post-divorce action for college expenses. It was a very difficult situation with an uncooperative co-parent and unorthodox opposing attorney. I was very happy with how Alex handled my ex and his attorney. He was always responsive to me and knowledgeable about the law, the judge and provided excellent advice to get the matter settled. After five years of working with a different medical malpractice firm on my case, it was time for me to seek a different legal counsel. I felt my initial attorney did not invest the time nor the effort I was promised during my first (and only legal) consultation. Last year, I retained the Martin Law Firm. After just two weeks, my new counsel knew the intricate ins and outs of my case, worked with the speed and integrity I had hoped for in this process, and (I felt) had a deeper knowledge of and empathy for the injuries I had sustained and will always suffer from. I hired Jeff Martin to represent me in my injury case. He has done excellent job handling it and negotiating very good settlement with insurance company. Jeff is one of those "rare breed" No Nonsense attorneys who go straight to the point with you, honestly answers your questions, and actually pick up the phone every time you call him. He has deep knowledge and experience in injury field, and he knows how to apply it while he works on the case. Those characteristics also apply to his office assistant Barbara - they both very efficient. On top of all that - Jeff and Barbara are simply very nice, pleasant people to work with - so Martin Law is my attorney's office of choice and I strongly recommend it to anyone with injury case.

I recently was pulled over for driving on a revoked license & no seat belt in Lake County. While on probation. I was absolutely sick to my stomach & Affraid. I called a good friend of mine and explained what happened to me. He told me to call Paul. So i did. When Paul answered and spoke to me. I was instantly relieved. His demeanor proffesional manner & knowledge was like no other lawyer i have used before. We went to court on the first appearance. He showed how great he trully is. He got the seat belt ticket thrown out. He got my driving on revoked reduced down. Probation terminated and a meger fine with supervision. . I really thought i was going to jail. YES!! you should hire Paul B. Wharton as your attorney… With cases ranging from Personal injury, Divorce and Criminal, I felt good it was a good fit. Mr. Wharton is a man I can’t thank enough! Today he made a miracle happen and I’m blessed to come across a lawyer who is as knowledgeable as he is. I don’t know where to start! I found Anisa on a lawyer directory. I reached out to her because I was seeking council for 3 traffic tickets that I racked up in a fender bender that I had gotten into. 2 of the 3 tickets I wasn’t worried about however the 3rd had me very nervous because it was my 2nd ticket for driving with no insurance so I knew I would be suspended, especially since I was already on supervision for the first occurrence, and a suspension would affect my livelihood. When I initially spoke to her, after giving her the details of my case, she was very transparent with me about fees and such. She was neutral about the possibility of the outcome which was hope for me since I had called another attorney that had given me a grim outlook. After our phone consultation I felt fairly confident about having Anisa as my counsel. In court, on 6/14, things looked bleak however thankfully her experience and in depth through knowledge of the law enabled her to negotiate a plea for me that would allow me to keep my license valid and my fine far lower than expected. From beginning to end I thought Anisa’s services was wonderful, her fees economical and well worth it, & I thought that her communication with me was great. I am beyond elated and grateful for Anisa’s services and I will certainly be recommending her!

In the beginning, the accident I was in, I felt I was being taken advantage of working on my own with the other parties insurance company. Asking Shauna Martin for help was the best decision I made. She was very helpful and informative throughout the process. She guided me from the beginning to the end of my insurance settlement. She really went the distance to get me the best result, which I am very happy with. I did get the result I was looking for in the end. I would definitely hire her again and will recommend her to any of my family, friends, etc.... if they were in a similar situation I was in. I should have guess based on the attempt to contact the Law Office of Ronald Justin would have been the indicator of the experience that was to unfold. Once contact was finally established, and prior to hiring Ronald, he reviewed my family law case to evaluate if he had the capacity. He accepted the case, stating his plan and what could be done. All documentation was provided to him, evidence, timelines, organized and complete. That was a year ago, and there has been little no no movement on his part. I should not have to send certified mail to get an update, or a return phone call after weeks of reaching out and being met with silence, or complete disregard for my inquiries. Furthermore, as other reviews have advised, he used the excuse of a paralegal he was considering terminating because they were the cause of the ball being dropped on numerous occasions. His failure to be diligent and communicative allowed mistakes to occur in the court room, and allowing orders to go through against my wishes, because "he didn't see the email", and again blamed another party for that error. After three weeks of sending emails for updates on my case, and items he claimed more than once would be filed "soon", unreturned phone calls, and a court date he not only did not show up to, but did not communicate he would not be present for, and had another associate who I had never met, nor had any insight on my case, fill in. I issued a deadline for his response, to where I received an after hours phone call informing me he would be withdrawing from the case after, three weeks of silence. The withdraw is not the issue, as that was the plan with the expectation that his false promises of delivery wouldn't be met, further neglecting my case. It's the lack of professionalism and the lack of accountability for his consistent failure to provide legal counsel. This will result in filing a complaint with the bar, and an investigation to ensue. I would not recommend this office for anything that requires court appearances, time and accurate communication, or if the lives of your children and yourself are dependent on his performance.

I found myself in a terrible situation a few years ago and Scott took my case. I felt helpless and didn't know what to do. I hadn't done anything wrong, but found myself fighting an uphill battle that had torn my life apart. Scott isn't the type of attorney to just tell you what you want to hear. He's realistic about what outcomes you can hope for and what outcomes you should expect. He's kind, compassionate, makes time for his clients, and is open to your ideas. But most importantly, he will fight for you because he actually cares and he knows that the job he does can be make it or break it when it comes to clients' lives. If it weren't for Scott, I wouldn't have the most important part of my life and be in the place I am today. I'm only disappointed in the fact that I can't leave more than five stars and that it took me this long to leave a review, because there is no one I would recommend more than Scott.

A trip to the lawyer isn't usually on many peoples bucket list. Most people never want to have to set foot in a lawyer's office. But the reality is, at some point, it usually happens. And I just want to say I am so happy I am that I was referred to Scott Anderson's office. My situation was very daunting. I can't say enough for how comforting Scott was with handling the situation. He immediately put me at ease and let me know that things were going to work out. His courtroom and legal prowess was exceptional and he has great integrity. A great lawyer and an even better guy. I hired this man to represent me. It was horrifying. In addition to losing my original file when he RETIRED AND CLOSED HIS CHICAGO office. As a lawyer who has tried hundreds of cases, I question whether he ever tried one. He has no idea how to question/qualify an expert, get a business record admitted, or know enough to ask for a basis for the ruling. Crosses witnesses as far from you as he can so you cannot comment or REMIND HIM of the actual evidence. And do it 1 shame on me. Do it 3 times after you were asked not to and it smells. You will be forced as I was, to settle and alot of people will suffer. The field is saturated. You can do so much better. I won't even practice anymore. He gives us the bad names I now understand.
