After being hit in the rear I turned to Wayne Wright for assistance. They had good reviews online and I knew someone who had had a favorable experience working with them in the past. As long as the case went easily and potential money was quick to come by they were willing to take my case. They told me they could help me get medical care. But when we discovered that the driver at fault had provided false insurance information Wayne Wright didn’t work hard to hold the responsible party accountable. The case manager I was working with, Karla, seemed incompetent. She delayed in responding to phone calls and/or messages. And when she spoke she kept saying um, and had long pauses. Or she wouldn’t answer my questions at all. She sounded like she she didn’t know what she was doing. I complained about the lack of service and response that I was getting and someone named Jeff then called me. He told me what the next steps could be to proceed with my case. I asked him why that was my only option and told him that no one had explained things so I just needed to understand before deciding on what to do. But right there during the same conversation he released from being a client. He didn’t even give me an opportunity to say yes please proceed or no let’s not. He was yelling at me and very rude. Very confrontational. I asked him why he was speaking to me that way and told him I would complain about him to the company. He basically laughed and said the equivalent of ‘go ahead - it won’t change anything.’ He was right. No one did anything. At least not that I know of. Now I’m in pain with a damaged vehicle and paying for everything out of pocket to avoid having my own family’s insurance rates go up. I feel like I was victimized twice - once by the driver who hit me and the second time by the law firm that was supposed to help me. Don’t let this happen to you. Find some other reputable attorney with excellent customer service to help you.

Matthew shrum handle a bunch of my cases I think there was a total of 7 or so a few 2nd degree felonies a couple 3rd and a state jail he originally got me an amazing offer to get all the cases dismissed through a pretrial diversion program unfortunately me and my ex wife wound up not working out and I messed that up anyways Matthew was still the attorney on my case after getting my pretrial diversion revoked he wound up getting me 3 years deferred adjudication In a extremely quick manner there was no going back to court four different times talking about different offers Mr. Shrum just had one conversation with the prosecutor and worked his magic and got me the amazing offer of 3 years deferred probation on one case and the other 6 or so got dropped he never hounded me for money and expressed through out these past 2 years of dealing with my cases that money is not why he does what he does Mr. Shrum is an amazing attorney and even more amazing of a human being he want to do nothing but help people through hard times I'm their life. If you choose any other attorney other than Matthew for your criminal cases you are stupid this man knows what he's doing in that court house and he's definitely someone you want on your team. Mr. Shrum handled my DWI case in San Antonio, TX. My original charge was a DWI with a BAC of 0.15 or higher but he was able to negotiate my case to be deferred adjudicated with some community service and online courses. The results of my case ended with the best possible outcome thanks to Matthew Shrum.
My experience with Mr. Shrum and members of his firm were excellent. They were always available to talk me through things and ease my worries. I highly recommend his services if you ever find yourself in need of them.

I had the pleasure of working with Shane Boasberg for 19 months on a Family Law case centered on my divorce agreement to sell my jointly-owned house. We won!! Shane's experience, professionalism, and work quality were 100% on display when we arrived at court against the opposing counsel. He had a huge Trial Binder for the Judge to use and follow along during the trial, and over (10) exhibits to log in - more than doubling the opposing counsel's exhibits, and providing the ONLY binder to the Judge! Shane came recommended by a friend, and was absolutely amazing to work with. I needed legal help with an eviction for a nightmare tenant, and Shane went above and beyond preparing an air-tight case. Although evictions are not the type of law he normally deals with, he learned everything about it quickly and got my tenant out in a timely fashion. He was in constant communication with me throughout the entire process, making sure we were overly prepared so everything would go in our favor. The judge also loved his wit and personal ability. After the eviction was ruled, Shane continued his involvement by following up with the tenant with a very stern, but professional email advising him of the ramifications if he didn’t comply with the judgement and move out. Done. Tenant gone. I was extremely happy with Shane – he was thorough, competent, and a pleasure to work with. I’d definitely hire him again and would recommend him to anyone needing legal help.

Rob was hired to help me with my arrest for DUI. My friend knew Rob and he immediately was able to help me with bail. Rob worked with me and explained things very clear what steps he would be taking, what he would do, and what I should do when it came time for court.
Rob was amazing. He always pushed for things to move forward and not let me hang in the wind. He was able to have the arrest diminished to obstruction, my probation severely reduced and for me to move on and not let this impede my life.

I never recommend this Law firm because like you can see in the pictures they make me appointment with the lawyer and when the appointment date and time get she never called me I stop in the office and they told me she is out of the office, she’s coming to a few days The communication is also like you seeing the pictures is very very bad because they sent me a reminding about my doctors appointment and when I get to my appointments my appointment canceled that was this past Monday today is Wednesday so far nobody haven’t called me to tell me I’m sorry or anything… so i not recommend…..

I contacted this law firm regarding a dispute with my auto insurance company. On Friday 8/30/24 @ approximately 4:15pm. I called other law firms that probably closed early today due to the upcoming holiday on Monday as they did not answer. This lawfirm had a live representative that was not an answering service that actually answered, took my info/ reason for calling and sought assistance from their legal team to see if they would be able to assist me. Unfortunately they were not able to assist me but the representative was able to direct me to another law firm that might be able to assist me.
