I was in a pretty bad spot. I had, in hindsight, said some things I shouldn't have said had I known the trouble it would bring. Nevertheless, I called someone out for shady activity online and I ended up entangled in a lawsuit over it.
I went to a list of lawyers who were willing to help people in a situation not unlike mine and found Mudd Law. After speaking with Charles he agreed to take my case at a really reasonable price and let me work out a fair payment plan. This case could have financially ruined me for the foreseeable future and I needed help badly.
Mr. Mudd was very helpful and personable right from the first phone call and I was very comfortable explaining the situation and following the sensible advice he offered. I quickly lost the notion I was dealing with a "lawyer" but was instead dealing with a real person who had a personal and professional interest in helping me solve my problem without trying to fleece me in the process.
In the end we were all able to come up with an amicable solution to the problem and it didn't break me financially. I also learned some lessons from my own actions and the guidance I received on how to not end up in a situation like this again, or, if I do, how to handle it better and more importantly, who to turn to if I need real legal console.
Thanks again for all your help. You helped walk me through a nightmare and come out stronger on the other side. I'll never forget your kindness and professionalism.

After my dad passed away in April 2024, my mom and I filed for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) through the VA. Despite working with a VA liaison and following up for 10 months, we received no real updates—just that the claim was still pending. Then, my mom received a notice from the VA, which she mistakenly believed was a denial of the DIC claim. Unfortunately, even the local VA liaison misinterpreted it, causing a lot of confusion. Given that my dad’s passing was clearly linked to his disability, we realized we needed legal representation and turned to James Comerford.
From our first conversation, James took the time to listen, understand our situation, and guide us through the process. Initially, we thought we needed to file a rebuttal, but after investigating, he discovered the VA had actually misinformed us—the claim was still being processed. He assured us he would follow up, and shortly after, he called with the great news: the claim had been approved. Not only did he get us answers, but he also knew exactly when my mom would receive her benefits, including back pay.
When I asked James what we owed him, he refused payment—he was simply happy my mom received what she deserved. Even after I insisted, he suggested we make a donation to a charity instead, which we did. His generosity, professionalism, and genuine care for his clients truly set him apart.

Joseph was very helpful with us on getting our security deposit back from our landlord. Gave us all the information we needed and what to expect when it comes to settlements and court cases if needed. He was very helpful in answering our questions we had about certain legal things we didn’t understand properly. He was very kind and he’s Law firm was helpful and very kind from the beginning when filing the settlement. He was very successful on getting our claim settlement settled with the landlords. We ended up recovering x3 more than what our security deposit was. I highly recommend Jospeh for any legal Issues you may have or if anyone you know has legal issues. I was struck in a hit-and-run car accident. They never caught the person. My car was totaled, I had a bad concussion and upper body injuries. My insurance did not want to cover much at all. Jason dealt with the insurance companies and medical bills. Everything was taken care of. I was able to get physical therapy and replace my vehicle. He was very responsive, would highly recommend.

Mr. Geller accepted my case after others declined to take it on. After I explained my situation (what happened) Mr. Geller pretty much did all the driving from that point forward. He kept miscellaneous costs to a minimum and was very flexible with scheduling. We did most of our communications via email and phone, which was very convenient for me. His office is conveniently located downtown and next to a parking garage with ample parking space so when I had to come in, I had no issues with directions or finding parking (rare for downtown). Mr. Geller kept me informed of my case status from the inception and laid out realistic timelines and expectations for the case. What you see is what you get with Jeremy! I highly recommend!!

I hired Phil for numerous real estate closings and an eviction. I will only work with phil forever and only recommend him to everyone I know. He is by far hands down the best.
